Abstract

CV. XYZ is a manufacturing company whose main product is lightweight concrete bricks made in various sizes. Lightweight concrete brick with a thickness of 10 cm is the product that produces the highest defects compared to other products. The resulting defects have an average of 5% where this value exceeds the company's tolerance limit of 3-4%. Based on these problems, a study was conducted to determine the level of defects of lightweight concrete bricks and to provide suggestions for improvements to reduce defects. The research was conducted using the Seven Tools method and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). The results showed that the defect level of Lightweight Concrete Bricks from the highest to the lowest were chipped, cracked, uncut, and dimensional defects respectively. In addition, it can be seen that the Gompal failure mode with the cause of the disassembly or sorting process is too hard to produce the highest RPN score of 245, so that the recommendations for improvement need to be prioritized first.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that operates in the field of breeding chicken broilers produce products every day. In the production process of corn that is needed in the production of livestock feed this often experiences conditions of overstock and stock-out. This research aims to conduct control of the supply of raw materials for livestock feed in PT. XYZ by comparing the company method with the continuous review (Q) back order method and periodic review (P) back orders method so that the total cost of inventory is minimal. Based on the calculation with the company method obtained the total cost of inventory of Rp 60.220.905.000,- and the total minimum cost of stock obtainable by using the continuous review (Q) back order method of Rs 60.030.457.600. The forecast for corn demand from January 2023 to December 2023 was 12,900 tons. The company made the order amount of 685 Tons and reorder point of 106 Tons, so the total cost of inventory was Rp 60.698.546.500,-.

Abstract

CV Dafista Mulia is a drinking water producer company located in Lamongan Regency. The problem that is often faced by companies is the amount of waste that occurs in the process of producing bottled drinking water. The most critical percentage of waste in the bottled water production process (AMDK) is waste overproduction with a weighting percentage of 25.4%; waste defet with a weighting percentage of 16.2%; waste inventory with a weighting percentage of 14.9%; waste unnecessary motion with a weighting percentage of 14.1%; waste transportation with a weighting percentage of 11.7%; waste waiting with a weighting percentage of 9%; and waste excess processing with a weighting percentage of 8.7%. The initial activity time before the repair was 466 minutes (7 Hours 46 Minutes) and after the repair was reduced to 416 minutes (6 Hours 51 Minutes). Based on the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), it is known that the root cause of the problem with the highest waste is Overproduction, namely production planning that is not quite right with a Risk Priority Number (RPN) score of 396. Recommendations for improvements that can be proposed are to carry out production planning using data - historical data that exists and is adjusted to balance the purchasing of raw materials with orders from consumers so that the results of the Overproduction can become a safety stock so that the Overproduction can function in the next consumer order.

Abstract

Pelayanan merupakan kegiatan pemenuhan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen untuk memenuhi harapan dan kepuasan pelanggan. PT. Hasil Tunas Cemerlang merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang general distributor consumer. Saat ini, PT. Hasil Tunas Cemerlang khususnya distribusi pada produk Dua Kelinci yang mempunyai permintaan yang tinggi menerima aduan dari pelanggan dimana adanya beberapa kasus keterlambatan dan waktu pengiriman lama yang menyebabkan proses pendistribusian ke pelanggan terhambat, jumlah produk yang dikirim belum sesuai dengan pesanan, belum jelasnya informasi ketersediaan produk, dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Physical Distribution Service Quality (PDSQ) untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan layanan distribusinya dan Potential Gain Customer Value (PGCV) untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan. Pada metode PDSQ diperoleh nilai IKP dengan nilai rata-rata persepsi untuk setiap dimensi didapat nilai sebesar 3,36 dan untuk rata-rata harapan sebesar 4,73. Diperoleh nilai Indeks Kepuasan Pelanggan yaitu 0,70 masuk kedalam kategori C atau Cukup Puas. Setelah dilakukan pemeringkatan dengan metode Potential Gain Customer Value maka diperoleh peringkat sebagai rekomendasi strategi perbaikan dengan lima (5) peringkat tertinggi yaitu Kecepatan Waktu Pengiriman Produk (T2) dengan nilai 9,72, atribut Informasi Ketersediaan Produk (A2) dengan nilai 9,12, Ketepatan Dalam Pengiriman Produk (T4) dengan nilai 9,04, Kondisi Jumlah Produk Sudah Sesuai Pesanan (C2) dengan nilai 8,70, Kecepatan Waktu Pelayanan Pemesanan (T1) dengan nilai 7,76.

Abstract

PAL Indonesia merupakan salah satu produsen alat utama sistem pertahanan Indonesia khususnya di bidang kelautan dan yang terbesar di Indonesia. PT. PAL Indonesia memiliki 22 divisi. Salah satunya yaitu Divisi Technology & Quality Assurance. Di divisi tersebut terpecah menjadi beberapa departemen. Salah satu depertemen yang terdapat di dalam divisi tersebut adalah departemen ISO, Standarisasi & Kalibrasi. Permintaan kalibrasi di Departemen ISO, Standarisasi, dan Kalibrasi Divisi Technology & Quality Assurance terdapat fluktuasi (jumlah permintaan tidak menentu). Peramalan permintaan menjadi kunci untuk mengatasi fluktuasi permintaan kalibrasi di departemen tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode time series Linear Trend dan Single Exponential Smoothing untuk meramalkan jumlah permintaan kalibrasi di periode berikutnya. Penelitian ini mengambil data laporan permintaan kalibrasi pada bulan November 2022 – Oktober 2023 selama 12 bulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perbandingan akurasi peramalan, diperoleh bahwa metode Linear Trend merupakan metode time series terbaik karena memiliki nilai kesalahan peramalan yang paling kecil yaitu nilai MAPE sebesar 54,628% ; Nilai MAD sebesar 2,358 ; dan Nilai MSE sebesar 10,343.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in furniture such as wardrobes, computer desks, and others. As a place to store finished products, warehousing activities at PT XYZ have not been carried out optimally due to wasteful activities. The purpose of this research is to find out the waste and provide suggestions for improvements to reduce waste in the process of warehousing flow of finished products at PT XYZ. This research uses the Lean Warehousing method which consists of Value Stream Mapping, Process Activity Mapping, Questionnaire, and Fishbone Diagram. The results of this study are that there are 5 attributes of waste that often occur, namely furniture products that are placed on the warehousing floor (Inventory 3), the accumulation of inventory of furniture products in the warehouse is not sold out (inventory 2), a long process of looking for furniture products for order preparation (searching time 1), waiting time for the next process (waiting 4), and looking for empty shelves for product storage (searching time 3), The proposed improvements provided can reduce 9 activities and reduce activity time for 193 minutes. The proposed improvements also increase Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE) by 12.69% from 46.90% to 59.59%.

Abstract

PDAM Surya Sembada Kota Surabaya is a regionally owned water company which operates in the field of production and services for the community. In serving the community, customers often complain that they are dissatisfied with the quality of service in the West Technical Services division. This is because they have not implemented a customer approach system. This research aims to minimize the occurrence of incoming customer complaints. CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is a method that can be used to minimize customer complaints by approaching customers, explaining customer dissatisfaction with services clearly and politely and providing the best solution to resolve the problem. This method creates a solution where customer complaints about service quality are reduced and makes it easier for the field team to find customer addresses.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company that produces newsprint and printed writing paper. In its production, the company needs raw materials to support the paper production so that it can be produced optimally. This research is used to find out how companies can optimize production by considering the flow of in and out of chemical raw materials used as materials to produce paper according to consumer wishes.
