Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning from the perspective of prophetic education at SMP Negeri 26 Padang. The research focuses on three aspects: (1) the learning process of PAI covering the subjects of faith, worship, morals, and social relations (muamalah); (2) the methods used by PAI teachers to internalize prophetic values (transcendence, humanization, and liberation); and (3) the evaluation of PAI learning outcomes in shaping students’ morals and characterThis research employed a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of PAI learning activities. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validation conducted through source and method triangulation The findings reveal that: (1) the PAI learning process at SMP Negeri 26 Padang has integrated prophetic values, although it is still dominated by the cognitive aspect; (2) the learning methods applied by teachers include lectures, discussions, habituation, and role-modeling, most of which are aligned with prophetic principles but still require more interactive innovation; and (3) PAI learning evaluation not only emphasizes cognitive achievement but also considers affective and moral aspects, thereby directing assessment toward the prophetic education model This study concludes that the implementation of prophetic education in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 26 Padang contributes to the formation of students’ character, although it requires strengthened learning strategies to be more effective and comprehensive

Abstract

This article aims to reconstruct the cultural fiqh approach as an integrative strategy to strengthen constitutional guarantees for local culture in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a juridical-conceptual and philosophical-cultural approach to examine the relationship between Islamic law (fiqh), local culture, and state legal norms. The analysis is carried out through a literature study of classical and contemporary fiqh texts, constitutional documents, and the thoughts of progressive fiqh figures. The research findings show that fiqh has epistemological flexibility that allows accommodation to local culture through rules such as al-‘ādah muhakkamah and maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah. The Indonesian Constitution, especially Article 28I and Article 32 of the 1945 Constitution, provides a strong legal basis for the preservation of regional culture. This article formulates an integrative model between fiqh and constitutional guarantees that allows the preservation and strengthening of local culture harmoniously within the framework of Islamic values and national law

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah tafsir maudhu’i sebagai pendekatan tematik yang mengumpulkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an untuk memahami pesan secara kontekstual dan menyeluruh. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dengan analisis konten literatur tafsir maudhu’i dan kajian ilmu kontemporer. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa tafsir maudhu’i bersifat sistematis dan tematik, mampu mengaitkan prinsip Qur’ani dengan isu sosial, etika, pendidikan, teknologi, dan lingkungan. Secara epistemologis dan normatif, tafsir ini berperan penting dalam memperkuat dasar ilmiah dan nilai etika, sementara secara praktis, mendukung penerapan ajaran Al-Qur’an dalam pengembangan ilmu dan kebijakan modern. Keterbatasan penelitian antara lain kemungkinan bias dalam pemilihan tema dan risiko interpretasi yang tidak mempertimbangkan konteks historis ayat.
