Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of zakat funds, human development index, Gross Domestic Product, and poverty on income inequality in 21 districts/cities in Aceh Province. This study uses panel data from 21 districts/cities in Aceh Province for the 2010-2019 period. The results found the regression coefficient of zakat funds have a positive relationship with a significance level of 0.08, which means that an increase in zakat funds of 1 % will increase income inequality by 0.011 points. Then the human development index variable has a negative effect with a significant level of income inequality of 0.000, which means that each human development index increases by 1 %, it will reduce income inequality by 0.12 points. Furthermore, the poverty variable that can describe the role of income inequality, the results obtained have no effect on income inequality in 21 districts/cities of Aceh Province during the study period. Then the last variable is Gross Domestic Product which has a negative relationship with a significance level of 0.0049 on income inequality in 21 districts/cities in Aceh Province during the study period. The resulting regression coefficient is 0.011 %, which means that when the Gross Regional Domestic Product increases by 1 %, it will reduce income inequality by 0.011 points.

Abstract

Perubahan  paradigma  masyarakat  mengenai  sampah  perlu  dilakukan  secara berkelanjutan.  Edukasi kesadaraan dan keterampilan warga untuk pengelolaan sampah dengan penerapan prinsip reduce, reuse,  recycle, and  replant (4R)  penting  dalam  penyelesaian  masalah  sampah.  Bank  sampah  yang berbasiskan  partisipasi  warga  perempuan  merupakan  modal  sosial  dalam  pengelolaan  sampah berbasis  masyarakat.  Bank  sampah  yang  diintegrasikan  dengan  prinsip  4R  dilaksanakan  di  Desa Watu  Golong Kabupatean  Sidoarjo,  Indonesia.  Kegiatan  bank  sampah  merupakan  konsep pengumpulan  sampah  kering  dan  dipilah  serta  memiliki  manajemen  layaknya  perbankan  tapi  yang ditabung  bukan  uang  melainkan  sampah.  Pemberdayaan  warga  melalui  kegiatan  penyuluhan, edukasi, pelatihan dengan metode partisipasi emansipatoris (interaksi dan komunikasi), serta dialog dengan  warga  di  komunitas.  Diperlukan dukungan kemitraan dengan membangun jejaring dan mekanisme kerja sama  kelembagaan  antara  warga  pengelola  bank  sampah  dengan stakeholder terkait. Bank Sampah Kampungku Resik (BSKR) di Desa Watu Golong telah memberikan manfaat kepada  warga,  terutama  manfaat  langsung  dengan  berkurangnya  timbulan  sampah  di  komunitas, lingkungan menjadi lebih bersih dan asri, serta kemandirian warga secara ekonomi. Selain manfaat secara  ekonomi,  dimana  dari  tabungan  sampah  memperoleh  uang  untuk  membayar  listrik  dan membeli  sembako,  juga  terwujudnya  kesehatan  lingkungan,  dengan  kondisi  komunitas  yang  lebih bersih, hijau, nyaman, dan sehat. Pengelolaan sampah terintegrasi dapat menstimulasi kreativitas dan inovasi dari masyarakat sehingga meningkatkan kesejahteraan warga.

Abstract

From this research, it can be known that the employee performance at Union Education Center Medan can be explained by work environment in 50.9% and the remaining of 49.1% can be explained by other factors. Compensation in 54.6% and the remaining of 45.4% can be explained by other factors. The regression equation is Y=10.920+0.136X1+0.028X2, which means the increase of 1 unit of work environment will lead to increase of 0.136 units of employee performance at Union Education Center and the increase of 1 unit of compensation will lead to increase of 0.028 units of employee performance at Union Education Center. It also can be seen that work environment and compensation has impact toward employee performance. Because it is 6.322 > 3.26 (Fcount > +Ftable) this is why that the hypothesis alternative (Ha) is accepted while null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The study recommended that the company can provide a comfort workplace, more adequate equipment to support the teacher daily works. The company also need to pay attention to employee compensation to improve employee commitment and performance.

Abstract

Growth of the econonomic is the main problem of many developing countries (developing country) such as Indonesia itself, grasp with economic development as his instrument. It is in the form of environmental degradation that occurs as a by product that is not likely to attain many market participants even the Government though. On this simple research will be described in simple and concrete, where we restrict this research on variable environmental degradation in the form of proxy data CO2 emissions in Indonesia, economic growth, population, and industrial sectors. Whenever it is found to be the result of linear regression method with the double the result that environmental degradation occurs which by population growth and economic growth, each effect is positive and significant. However, the industrial sector showed a negative influence and significantly to degradation of the environment itself.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of special autonomy funds on the welfare of the people in Aceh Province. This study uses a description method, the data used are secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency, Scientific Journals, and other secondary data sources. The variables used in researching welfare are education, health, and poverty data. The results of research in Aceh Province show that the special autonomy funds provided by the central government have not been able to prosper the people in Aceh Province. The central government and the provincial government of Aceh need to review the priorities of this special autonomy fund to improve the welfare of the people of Aceh province.Keywords: Special Autonomy Fund and Welfare.

Abstract

The development of halal tourism requires readiness in various factors such as access, communication, environment, and services. The research was carried out in three district Aceh Province, namely in Banda Aceh City, Aceh Besar District, and Sabang City as tourism base areas. This research sample as many as 50 hotel business actors, 50 culinary delights, and 26 tourist objects, a total of 126 tourism business actors. Data analysis uses Binner Logit Regression, to determine the opportunities for tourism actors who are ready and not ready for halal tourism in the development of halal tourism in Aceh Province. The results showed that Accessibility, Communication, and Services had a positive effect on the development of halal tourism, while environmental factors do not affect the development of halal tourism in Aceh Province. Of all the factors, only services in tourism have high readiness and opportunities in influencing the development of halal tourism in Aceh Province.

Abstract

Public relations as the management of communication between an organization and it publics. Public relations encompass the overall planning, execution, and evaluation of an organization’s communication with both external and internal publics. The goal of public relations is to help an organization to increase the company effectiveness. Getting a clear understanding of an organization’s business goals is the first step of public relations activities to set measurable objectives for a communication program. Company effectiveness is the company success by a few short term measures in sales and profit and long term perspective such as combining short term with customer service goals.The director of PT. Global Aksara Motor Medan concluded that the marketing manager does not take part in setting company’s objectives, low level of expertise for conducting public relations research and lack of budget dedicated to public relations.the problem identifications of the company is Is there impact of public relation on company effectiveness and How strong is the impact of public relation on company effectiveness. The population of PT. Global Aksara Motor Medan is the employees of marketing department. The writer uses Arikunto sampling theory. The sample size is 45. The writer uses census sampling technique which the writer takes all population as sample. In analyzing data, the writer used some methods such as data descriptive, the validity test, the reliability test, the correlation test, the determination test,linier regression, and the hypothesis test. According to the result calculation data through the answers of the respondents, the writer got the result of 0.72 means Public relation has a strong impact on company effectiveness at PT. Global Aksara Motor Medan. From the calculation of ztest hypothesis test, the writer got zcount=4.77. The zcount > ztable (4.77> 1.96), This means the Null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The writer can conclude that public relation has impact on company effectiveness at PT. Global Aksara Motor Medan.

Abstract

Koperasi menurut UU No.25 Tahun 1992 dijelaskan sebagai Badan Usaha yang beranggotakan orang-seorang atau Badan Hukum Koperasi dengan melandaskan kegiatannya berdasarkan prinsip Koperasi sekaligus sebagai gerakan ekonomi rakyat yang berdasar atas asas kekeluargaan. Terdapat berbagai macam jenis koperasi yang ada di Indonesia demikian pula koperasi di Deli Serdang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, pelatihan dan juga pendampingan. Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian ini adalah:a) Masyarakat Desa Kare memahami pentingnya berkoperasi atau menjadi anggota koperasi sehingga permasalahan masyarakat terkait dengan akses pembiayaan dapat teratasi, b) Masyarakat mengetahui proses mendirikan koperasi dan mengetahui apa yang harus dilakukan setelah koperasi berdiri, hal ini sebagai bekal kepada masyarakat untuk belajar berkoperasi, c). Permasalahan-permasalahan koperasi yang selama ini dihadapi dapat diselesaikan, hal ini dikarenakan adanya akses informasi dan pendampingan yang dilakukan secara terus-menerus dalam membantu koperasi yang bermasalah, d)Tumbuhnya kesadaran masyarakat akan akses pembiayaan selain perbankan hal ini dikarenakan perbankan memiliki persayaratan yang lebih rumit dalam pembiayaan dan adanya pengawasan yang ketat baik dalam agunan atau jaminan maupun dalam pembayaran karena diawasi oleh Bank Indonesia (BI), e). Masyarakat menjadi terdidik dalam hal ini adalah dalam memilih pengurus koperasi sehingga kedepannya masalah koperasi bisa diminimalisir, f). Menumbuhkan kembali semangat bergotong royong dan saling membantu di masyarakat melalui keanggotaan koperasi dan juga menumbuhkan semangat dalam bermusyawarah dalam pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract

Increased global competition, many organizations facing formidable challenges are increasingly using brand image as an important strategic management tool. Brand image allows producers to differentiate and position of products from that of competitors and assists consumers in the selection of an appropriate product. Brand image also included the customer responses to the brand name, sign or impression, and also represented the symbol of the product quality. A strong positive brand image is highly essential for corporations to compete effectively in today hyper competitive business environment. It enables corporations to gain competitive advantage by influencing consumer behavior and brand equity. PT. Maha Duta Jaya - Medan, which is engaged in sales of Yamaha motorcycles, must create a good brand image to face the market competition today. This to get greater sales revenue and having customer positive perception on company’s products. As motorcycle has become a fashion trend among young people in Indonesia and market begin to offer various kinds and types of motorcycles made the competition gets tougher. To face this competition problem, company need to build brand image for company’s product and company should to observe the customer buying behavior. Because customer buying behavior also changes with follow the offer which were given to. The research design used in this study is correlation research. The correlation research was designed by gathering necessary information as interviews and observations. Interviewing and observing company’s customers will allow for the most up to date, valid information possible. The method of research in here is descriptive method. The relationship between brand image and customer buying behavior at PT. Duta Mahajaya – Medan. According to analysis of correlation coefficient Product moment r= 0,79 Which means there is a Strong Positive Relationship between variable X and variable Y. It’s mean, brand image really influence to customer buying behavior. The results of this study indicate that there is a considerable influence of brand image on customer buying behavior. This can be seen from the relationship between the dimensions of brand image on customer purchase behavior, especially towards the model behavior.
