Abstract

This research discusses moral values ​​in the novel Ra'aytu Ramallah using intrinsic analysis. This research was conducted because in the novel Ra'aytu Ramallah there are several types of moral values, including individual, religious and social moral values. This research aims to (1) Identify the moral values ​​contained in the Novel Ra'aytu Ramallah by Mourid Barghouti, (2) Analyze the form of conveying moral values ​​in the Novel Ra'aytu Ramallah by Mourid Barghouti using intrinsic review.The type of research used in this research is library research, namely descriptive qualitative. The data collection method is using reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with stages namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions.The results of the research show that (1) There are three types of moral values ​​contained in the novel Ra'aytu Ramallah, namely: the relationship between humans and God (religious morals). There are 3 quotes including gratitude, worshiping God, gratitude, sincerity, and trust in God. There are 13 quotes about human relationships with themselves (Individual morals), including being humble, patient, learning to be independent and not causing trouble to others, being responsible, disciplined, and always being honest. Human relations with other humans in the social sphere (social morals) include helping each other, being polite and friendly towards others, maintaining mutual friendship, giving affection, sharing with others, keeping promises and tolerance between religious communities. (2) The form of conveying moral values ​​in the Novel Ra'aytu Ramallah by Mourid Barghouti is direct and indirect, namely through character descriptions, interpretations and symbols.Keywords: Moral values, Novel, Ra'aytu Ramallah, Intrinsic

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah yang terjadi pada novel “Al-Hubbu Fī Zamani Al-Nafthi”. Masalah utama dalam novel ini adalah berbagai penyimpangan dari norma sosial yang dialami tokoh utama perempuan sebagai akibat dari diskriminasi di berbagai bidang, seperti pekerjaan, gender, pendidikan, dan politik. Jenis penilitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research).Data dalam penelitian ini berupa keseluruhan teks dalam novel Al-Hubbu Fī Zamani Al-Nafthi karya Nawal El-Sa’adawi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Al-Hubbu Fī Zamani Al-Nafthi karya Nawal El-Sa’adawi Tinjauan Sosiologi Sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca dan catat. Metode dan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Kondisi sosial masyarakat Mesir yang tercermin dalam novel meliputi ketidakadilan dan ketimpangan gender yang menempatkan perempuan tidak setera dengan laki-laki, kekerasan dan penganiayaan terhadap pekerja, serta pemerintahan yang otoriter. (2) Jenis kritik sosial yang meliputi kritik sosial politik, kritik sosial pendidikan, kritik sosial ekonomi, kritik sosial gender. (3) Bentuk penyampaian kritik sosial dalam novel Al-Hubbu Fī Zamani Al-Nafthi adalah secara langsung atay lugas dan secara tidak langsung yaitu dengan cara simbolik dan interpretasi.

Abstract

ALFIRA NADIANA. “Pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi “Assemblr Edu” terhadap Penguasaan Kosakata Bahasa Arab Siswa MTs Bhayangkara Makassar” di bawah bimbingan Ibu Haeriyyah, S.Ag., M.Pd.I dan Bapak Dr. Andi Agussalim, S.S., M.Hum. Latar Belakang. Mayoritas siswa Mts Bhayangkara Tallo Lama Makassar masih belum mampu menguasai kosakata bahasa Arab. Hal ini merupakan salah satu masalah terbesar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Mts Bhayangkara. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses penerapan dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media Assemblr Edu terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab pada siswa kelas VII B MTs Bhayangkara Tallo Lama Makassar. Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik analisis kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi dan tes (pre test dan post test). Data telah dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VII B mengalami peningkatan kosakata setelah menggunakan aplikasi Assemblr Edu dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab. Kosakata tersebut berupa غرف في البيت، مضمون الغرف في البيت، الأعمال اليومية، أفراد الأسرة، فعل المضارع. Hal ini dibuktikan pada hasil uji paired sampel t-test pada nilai pre test dan post test siswa kelas VII B di MTs Bhayangkara yakni nilai Sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari penggunaan aplikasi Assemblr Edu terhadap peningkatan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa di MTs Bhayangkara Makassar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk pembelajaran berupa bahan ajar mata kuliah Fonologi bahasa Arab. Penelitian pengembangan ini didasari oleh belum tersedianya bahan ajar inovatif yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum Universitas Hasanuddin Tahun 2023 (K-23) pada mata kuliah Fonologi Bahasa Arab di Program Studi Sastra Arab Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Hasanuddin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang merujuk pada model ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket validasi (validasi ahli media dan validasi ahli materi) dan angket respon mahasiswa. Hasil validasi bahan ajar fonologi bahasa Arab menunjukkan bahwa ahli materi menilai buku ajar berkualifikasi baik, demikian pula dengan ahli desain menilai buku ajar berkualifikasi baik. Adapun respon mahasiswa pada saat ujicoba menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar yang dihasilkan berada pada kualifikasi baik. Dengan demikian bahan ajar fonologi bahasa Arab layak, dan siap digunakan dalam pembelajaran khusunya di program studi di Sastra Arab, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Hasanuddin. Abstract

Latar Belakang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan penguasaan kosakata mayoritas siswa di MTs DDI Walimpong yang masih rendah dikarenakan perbedaan latar belakang pendidikan siswa, serta penggunaan fasilitas pembelajaran yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Hal ini merupakan salah satu masalah terbesar dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di MTs DDI Walimpong. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan media aplikasi “Bahasa Arab Pemula” dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media aplikasi “Bahasa Arab Pemula” dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab pada siswa kelas VIII MTs DDI Walimpong. Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik analisis kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi dan tes (pretest dan posttest). Data telah dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil. Abstract

Education is a process that will be largely determined by three factors, namely: first, the family environment, where parents are the determining factor in the formation of children's attitudes and behavior, second, the school environment, where teachers play a very important role in the cognitive formation of students and third is the community environment, so that this environment becomes a free medium of interaction between children/students from the previous two environments. By using qualitative research, this research focuses on the development of religious values and the formation of social values. The results of this study reveal that the concept of halalan tayyibah as an initial provision to the family in the family as an initial coaching place. Emphasizing the importance of education as a holistic process influenced by three primary environments. Firstly, the family environment, where parents play a crucial role in shaping children's attitudes and behaviors. Secondly, the school environment, where teachers are instrumental in the cognitive development of students. Thirdly, the community environment, which provides a broader context for social interaction, integrating influences from both the family and school.

Abstract

This article discussed the role of technology in the learning process, especially in Arabic language teaching at MTsN 1 Makassar City. Teachers are faced with the challenge of improving students' ability to master vocabulary which conventional methods are often less interesting. This research proposes using visual media, such as digital comics, to make the learning process more interesting and effective. Digital comics are considered as media that can increase students' motivation and understanding and have been proven effective in increasing students' interest and understanding, especially in learning vocabulary. Research and Development (R&D) method was used in this research with the Four-D model which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was conducted at MTsN 1 Makassar City, with subjects consisting of two media experts, four material experts, and twenty-seven students of grades VII, VIII, and IX. The results showed that Arabic digital comics have a very good level of feasibility based on the responses of media experts, material experts, and students, with an average score percentage of 90.66% from the media aspect, 91.5% from the material aspect, and 78.07% from student responses. Visual media such as digital comics can attract students' interest, increase learning motivation, and help them understand Arabic vocabulary better. It is expected that this research can be a reference in developing innovative and effective language-learning media in the future.

Abstract

The increasing popularity of Arabic songs across Indonesian digital platforms has led to frequent misinterpretations, particularly when secular compositions are assumed to be religious expressions such as shalawat. This study responds to that cultural misconception by examining the lyrics of “Qoddukal Mayyās” by Mulla Uthman Al-Musili, a song often mistakenly regarded as devotional. Adopting a qualitative descriptive approach based on library research, the analysis is framed through Michael Riffaterre’s semiotic theory. The methodology involves a systematic progression through heuristic reading to identify literal meanings, hermeneutic reading to interpret symbolic and contextual layers, and the identification of matrices, models, and variants to uncover the internal structure of poetic meaning. The analysis reveals that the song articulates a deeply emotional and profane form of love, marked by symbolic imagery and figurative language. Expressions such as “your supple body,” “O my moon,” and “my heart is on fire” reflect themes of sensual longing and romantic idealization without any reference to spiritual devotion or religious content. These findings confirm that the lyrics align with the Arabic ghazal tradition, emphasizing aesthetic admiration and personal emotion rather than worship or prophetic reverence. The study contributes to the clarification of cultural misreadings in the Indonesian context and highlights the necessity for greater Arabic literary literacy. Its implications are particularly relevant for educational settings where semiotic analysis can help students and the wider public distinguish between artistic expression and religious discourse within the broader landscape of Arabic popular culture.

Abstract

This study examines how Islamic educational values are integrated into the Kampus Mengajar Program at elementary schools in Makassar and how this integration contributes to students’ character development in the face of global and moral challenges. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis in five elementary schools participating in the program across Makassar. The research involved 12 informants, including Kampus Mengajar participants from Universitas Hasanuddin and the elementary school teachers they collaborated. The collected data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study found that integrating Islamic educational values, such as Tauhid, akhlak, ibadah, and muamalah, into classroom activities significantly enhanced students' character development, particularly regarding honesty, responsibility, and tolerance. These values were instilled through religious rituals, community projects, and everyday interactions. The program also fostered students' awareness of environmental ethics and social empathy. The findings suggest that Kampus Mengajar is an effective vehicle for character education aligned with Islamic values. It is recommended that future implementations provide structured training for participants on Islamic educational integration. Further research could examine the long-term behavioral impacts on students and the institutional sustainability of such value-based educational programs.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Snakes and Ladders-based learning media in improving students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary. Traditional methods like textbooks and static visual aids often fail to engage students actively and ensure consistent vocabulary retention. To address this, the study applied a pre-experimental design with a quantitative approach, using a one-group pretest-post-test format. The intervention involved a life-sized Snakes and Ladders board placed on the classroom floor, where students physically moved as game pieces and answered vocabulary prompts at each square—this setup aimed to provide an interactive learning experience, reinforcing vocabulary through repetition and contextual application. The study involved 18 fourth-grade students, with an initial average pretest score of 71.61, which increased to 94.11 in the Post-test, showing an improvement of 22.50 points. A paired t-test revealed a statistically significant improvement (t(17) = -12.144, p < 0.001), with Cohen's d = 3.79, indicating a substantial impact. These results demonstrate that Snakes and Ladders game-based learning can significantly enhance vocabulary acquisition. Incorporating physical movement, peer interaction, and visual stimuli is vital in reinforcing vocabulary retention, offering a promising alternative teaching method to support Arabic language learning at the elementary level.
