Abstract

Radicalism is seen as dangerous for the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. It is contradictory to Islamic values, where Islam upholds the principles of tolerance, peace, and respect for one's beliefs. Therefore, serious efforts are required from all levels of society to minimize the spread of this understanding, especially for the millennial generation. This study aims to find conceptual ideal ideas to deal with issues of radicalism through the role of (IRE) Islamic Religious Education teachers in the formal learning process at schools. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The study was carried out in Madrasa Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School) Maarif Tanjung Sari Sumedang. Data were collected through an interview, observation, and discussion. The data were analyzed using the interactive analysis technique. Results of the study revealed that the Islamic Religious Education teacher of MA Maarif Tanjung Sari played an important role in stemming radicalism. Implementing 5 principles in the teaching-learning process is the key.

Abstract

Bahan yang mudah menguap sering digunakan dalam percobaan maupun penelitian dengan memberikan efek samping pada tubuh seperti seseorang yang meminum khamr. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hukum penggunaan zat volatil dalam pandangan islam serta mengetahui batasan dalam penggunaan zat volatil. Metode yang digunakan metode deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan angket online kepada mahasiswa dan data diolah dengan teknik frequency serta melakukan wawancara kepada asisten laboratorium dan dosen PAI UPI. Penggunaan zat volatil dalam laboratorium banyak digunakan terutama pada aseton,Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 62% responden pernah tidak sengaja menghirup zat volatil, hal ini dapat mengakibatkan efek pusing, mengantuk, sesak nafas, dan lain - lain. Zat volatil apabila penggunaannya dapat memabukan dan disengaja maka dapat termasuk kedalam golongan khamr yang diharamkan penggunaannya dalam islam. Namun jika penggunaan zat volatil dalam uji coba diperbolehkan hanya untuk eksplorasi ilmu dengan menjalankan prosedur yang sesuai SOP.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi muatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam buku ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti untuk kelas 4-6 Sekolah Dasar serta menilai kesesuaiannya dengan kebijakan pemerintah dan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Sumber data primer berasal dari dokumen kurikulum dan buku ajar PAI kelas 4-6 versi Kurikulum Merdeka, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari artikel jurnal yang relevan. Data dianalisis melalui teknik analisis konten guna melihat sejauh mana muatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila telah terintegrasi dalam materi ajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkann bahwa sebagian besar buku ajar telah memuat nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila, meskipun ada beberapa area yang masih memerlukan penguatan dan penyesuaian lebih lanjut. Temuan kebaruan dari penelitian ini ialah cenderung memfokuskan dalam menggali muatan Profil  Pelajar Pancasila di dalam buku ajar PAI dan Budi Pekerti. Dengan demikian, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menguatkan bahwa muatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila telah terintegrasi dengan baik pada materi ajar PAI dan Budi Pekerti.

Abstract

This study underscores the importance of teaching moderation in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) lectures at public universities (PU) to foster a climate of tolerance among students, countering radicalism and extremism. The primary objective is to explore student perceptions of tolerance learning within their religious courses. Employing a quantitative approach, the researchers conducted a descriptive survey involving 795 respondents, utilizing a cross-sectional design for data collection via a Likert scale questionnaire. Results revealed that a significant majority of students, 87.82%, hold a very good perception of tolerance learning in IRE lectures. Further analysis indicated that over 90% of respondents viewed the attitudes and thoughts of IRE lecturers on religious moderation positively (97.74%). Similarly, 95.37% appreciated the teaching methods and processes that enhance tolerance learning, while 93.38% positively assessed the teaching materials that promote these values. These findings indicate that tolerance learning is effectively occurring in IRE courses at PU. This research reinforces the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education in internalizing tolerant values among students, ultimately contributing to the promotion of religious moderation within the educational context.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the Kuttab-based learning model in shaping students' character and academic performance, as well as identify challenges and opportunities for its implementation in modern education. The method used is a literature review by collecting data from books, articles, and other relevant sources. The collected data were grouped into key themes, such as the history of Kuttab, principles of religion-based education, and the challenges and advantages of this model. Analysis was conducted to identify relevant patterns and synthesize information to support the research objectives. The results show that Kuttab education is vital in integrating religious knowledge and science, creating intellectual and spiritual balance. This model effectively shapes a generation that is intelligent and morally upright. Despite challenges like limited infrastructure and globalization, Kuttab holds significant potential for character education. The use of technology and the integration of religious curriculum with general sciences offer opportunities for developing a morally and intellectually excellent generation. Thus, Kuttab-based education can serve as a modern solution emphasizing the balance between moral values and knowledge.    Keywords: Kuttab Education, integration of religion and science, character development, educational challenges, technology in education.

Abstract

The Training on the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum for Islamic Education (PAI) Teachers in Garut Regency aims to enhance teachers' competencies in integrating the Merdeka Curriculum into Islamic Education teaching. This training covers six main topics: the philosophy of the Merdeka Curriculum, lesson planning, innovative teaching models, selection of teaching media, strengthening the Student Profile of Pancasila through projects, and authentic assessment. The training methods involve interactive face-to-face sessions, simulations, and self-learning using digital modules. The program's participants consist of 70 Islamic Education (PAI) teachers from primary schools in Bayongbong District, Garut Regency. Evaluation results indicate that participants highly appreciated the training, particularly in terms of material relevance and the expertise of the trainers. Most participants felt that this program helped them understand and implement the Merdeka Curriculum in their schools. This training significantly contributes to improving the quality of Islamic Education teaching and can serve as a model for similar professional development programs in other regions.

Abstract

This research aims to explore strategies for improving Al-Quran Reading and Writing (Baca Tulis al-Quran / BTQ) skills in public schools, with a case study at SMAN 2 Bandung. Studying the Koran is essential for every Muslim that studying the Koran is the most important thing for every Muslim, especially in terms of reading each verse in it which contains certain tajwid laws that must be obeyed when reading it. However, in reality there are quite a few people who still make mistakes in reading and pronouncing the Koran. Reading and Writing the Qur'an is a key skill in Islamic education, focusing on both Arabic mastery and character development, but also contributes to the development of students' character and morals. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document studies, which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research indicate that limited time and minimal support for learning at home are the main challenges in implementing BTQ in public schools. The school applies the "bandungan" method for BTQ learning, where students take turns reading with correction from teachers and classmates, as well as daily Koran assignments at home.

Abstract

This research explores how the pedagogical orientation of the 21st century and its implications for IRE learning. The method used in this research is the literature study method. The results of this study reveal that the 21st century brings considerable changes in various aspects of life, including education. The main characteristic of this century is the rapid advancement of technology. These technological advances affect the way of learning, teaching, as well as the way of interacting in education. 21st-century learning emphasizes the achievement of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity skills (4Cs), as well as information literacy, technology, and life skills. In terms of pedagogical skills, it has shifted from traditional teacher-centered pedagogy to constructivist, learner-centered pedagogy. This pedagogical shift allows learners to actively build knowledge and skills through experience and technology. Learning strategies or methods that can be used in 21st-century learning include flipped classroom, experiential learning, problem-based learning, reflective learning, project-based learning, and inquiry learning. In the learning process, the teacher has an important role not as the only source of material but as a facilitator who creates an effective learning environment. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning, the relevance of 21st-century learning is applied through technology integration, emphasis on the achievement of 21st-century skills, the use of appropriate strategies, and a maximum evaluation process in accordance with the learning model used.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang efektif adalah pembelajaran yang tidak hanya mentransfer pengetahuan tapi juga dapat merubah tingkah laku siswa. Namun pada realitanya, proses pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak di kelas masih belum dapat menanamkan esensi nilai akhlak yang ingin ditanamkan kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak penerapan metode kisah dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak untuk menguatkan nilai akhlak siswa. Penelitian ini berfokus di MTS Al-Muwaffiq Cicalengka dengan prosedur penelitian melalui serangkaian langkah yang mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi proses penelitian yang terstruktur. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data tematik yang meliputi tahap pengelompokkan data, analisis data, mendeskripsikan dan membandingkan data, serta menarik interpretasi untuk menyusun kesimpulan yang akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode kisah dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak terbukti berhasil dalam memperkuat nilai-nilai akhlak pada siswa. Hal ini didukung oleh data wawancara dengan siswa dan guru, serta hasil evaluasi sumatif yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan pengamalan akhlak seperti bersikap sopan santun terhadap guru dan teman sebaya, bertutur kata yang baik serta mengikuti kegiatan kegamaan sekolah dengan baik. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya kajian terkait metode kisah dalam pembelajaran dengan kaitannya untuk meningkatkan nilai akhlak siswa. Secara praktis, penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi guru dalam menerapkan metode pembelajaran berbasis kisah untuk menguatkan nilai akhlak siswa.
