Abstract

Changes to the simulator rejection system from the previous research were carried out by replacing all sensors, drive motors, PLC systems, and adding HMI systems. The objectives in this research, namely (i) changing and developing a rejection system simulator, creating a ladder-based program structure and configuring HMI systems and (ii) measuring the performance of the simulators. Rejection system simulator is fabricated and reassembled, ladder-based syntax into PLCs and HMI is also configured, and observing the performance is done through the HMI layer. The results of programming is carried out through (i) providing software for PLCs, (ii) programming the PLC system, (iii) compiling and uploading programs from PC to PLC, (iv) configuring PLC and HMI via ethernet, and (v) compiling and uploading the program structure from PC to HMI. The performance for observing the condition of the bottle cap through the HMI is observed when (i) synchronization between the simulator system and the HMI-assisted PLC control, (ii) the reading of the sensors installed on the simulator, and (iii) the rotation process of the rejector arm. Overall, the rejection system simulator with a PLC-based assisted by HMI can be used as a process simulation against the implementation of the rejection system

Abstract

This paper describes the creation of a minimum system for monitoring and controlling the voltage on a three-phase electrical network. Making a minimum system based on the result of previous research that has been implemented in the forms of device assembly, programming, and performance measurement. The research objectives are (i) assembling the hardware and programming based on Arduino software version 1.8.10 and (ii) measuring the minimum system performance. The research method for achieving the objective of assembling a minimum system is carried out through integrated wiring as an effort to get the hardware achievement, while for programming is an effort to get the software achievement. The implementation of the research method for measuring the performance as an effort to get the achievements of hardware and software is carried out by giving the orders to activate the paths of each phase. The result of the assembly is the integration of the Arduino UNO R3 module, Ethernet Shield type of W5100, MikroTik RouterBoard, relay modules, and Android smartphone, while the results of the programming are compiling and uploading the syntax to the Arduino module and making applications in the .apk format for a smartphone. Performance measurements are carried out by activating conditions for the three phases of phase-R, phase-S, and/or phase-T. The conclusion can be obtained, that the manufacture of a minimum system is appropriate for the fulfillment with respect to the presence of an electronic device for monitoring and controlling the voltage on a three-phase electrical network.

Abstract

PROTOTIPE SISTEM PENGONTROLAN BERBASIS VOICE RECOGNITION SENSOR DAN MIKROKONTROLER UNTUK PENGOPERASIAN AKTUATOR. Telah dilakukan pembuatan prototype sistem pengontrolan pengoperasian actuator berbasis voice recognition sensor dan mikrokontroler, melalui langkah-langkah: (1) pengintegrasian voice recognition sensor ke sistem mikrokontroler, meliputi: (a) pengawatan sistem berbantuan program aplikasi Eagle, (b) pembuatan board untuk sistem mikrokontroler ATmega16, (c)pengawatan sistem, dan (d) penempatan voice recognition sensor pada sistem mikrokontroler ATmega16; (2) pembuatan program berbasis bahasa pemrograman BasCom, meliputi: (a) pembuatan diagram alir (algoritma), (b) penulisan sintaks, dan (c) uji verifikasi terhadap program berbasis bahasa BasCom yang telah dibuat ke dalam program aplikasi Proteus; (3) pengukuran kinerja sistem pengontrolan pengoperasian actuator berbasis voice recognition sensor dan mikrokontroler, meliputi: (a) pemantauan dan pengukuran kinerja sensor melalui simulasi pemberian suara terhadap sensor dan (b) penjelasan mekanisme pengontrolan lampu dan kipas berdasarkan keadaan yang dideteksi oleh sensor. Pengintegrasian sensor ke sistem mikrokontroler ATmega16 ditunjukan, bahwa port pada mikrokontroler ATmega16, digunakan untuk (i) catu daya dengan intergrate circuit (IC) regulator 7805, (ii) sensor voice recognition, (iii) downloader dan (iv) keluaran. Berkaitan dengan pemrograman mikrokontroler ATmega16 untuk pengoperasian sistem, dilakukan penanaman program berbasis bahasa BasCom melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu: (i) konfigurasi pin, (ii) deklarasi variablel (peubah), (iii) deklarasi konstanta (tetapan), (iv) inisialisasi, (v) program utama, (vi) ambil data kirim data, dan (vii) keluaran. Hasil simulasi mendekati hasil yang di harapkan, sensor dapat membaca perintah yang kemudian dikirimkan ke sistem mikrokontroler

Abstract

KONTRUKSI ROTOR MAGNET PERMANEN FLUKS RADIAL UNTUK ALTENATOR FASE TUNGGAL. Telah dibuat konstruksi rotor magnet permanen fluks radial untuk alternator fase-tunggal, melalui perolehan: 1) konstruksi rotor dengan magnet permanen fluks radial untuk alternator fase tunggal, 2) daya mekanis penggerak mula, 3) pengukuran kinerja alternator tanpa beban, dan 4) pengukuran kinerja alternator berbeban. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada tahapan pembuatan rotor, yaitu: (a) pembuatan pola rumah magnet, (b) pembuatan pola poros rotor, (c) pengukuran dimensi rotor, (d) pengerjaan rumah magnet dan poros rotor, dan (e) pemasangan magnet permanen pada rumah magnet. Langkah-langkah untuk perolehan daya mekanis penggerak mula, adalah: (a) rakitan rotor dan stator, dan (b) daya mekanis teoritis penggerak mula. Tahapan dalam pengukuran dan perhitungan kinerja alternator tanpa beban meliputi: (a) penggunaan penggerak mula, (b) koneksi penggerak mula ke poros rotor alternator, dan (c) nilai putaran poros, tegangan terminal, dan frekuensi alternator. Tahapan dalam pengukuran kinerja alternator berbeban meliputi: (a) pengukuran kinerja alternator berbeban tanpa pengontrolan putaran, dan (b) pengukuran kinerja alternator berbeban dengan pengontrolan putaran. Konstruksi rotor magnet permanen dilakukan dengan pembuatan pola rumah magnet pada rotor, agar dapat untuk penempatan jumlah maksimum magnet permanen yang berjumlah 12 (dua belas) dalam alur magnet. Hal itu didasarkan kepada keberadaan dimensi magnet permanen yang tersedia di pasaran. Ukuran alur tempat magnet, adalah 17 mm (lebar), 5 mm (tebal), dan 40 mm (panjang), sehingga diperoleh jarak antar setiap magnet 5,5 mm. Panjang rotor sesuai panjang inti stator (stator core). Panjang pola poros rotor sebesar 210 mm, terdiri atas tiga bentuk dengan dimensi berbeda. Diameter poros rotor dibuat dengan 3 ukuran yang berbeda, diantaranya 1 bagian dengan diameter 30 mm (panjang 60 mm) berfungsi sebagai dudukan rumah magnet, 2 bagian dengan diameter 20 mm (panjang 12 mm) berfungsi sebagai dudukan bearing, dan 2 bagian dengan diameter 19,4 mm (panjang 63 mm) berfungsi sebagai kopel ke penggerak mula dan dapat digunakan untuk tempat kipas jika diperlukan. Diameter rotor berdasarkan diameter dalam inti stator yang tersedia (87 mm), sedangkan panjang rotor mengacu pada panjang magnet permanen dan lebar inti stator. Diameter rotor harus lebih kecil dari diameter dalam stator dengan tujuan, agar diperoleh celah udara (air gap) antara inti rotor dan inti stator. Diameter inti rotor diperoleh sebesar 85 mm, sehingga diperoleh selisih 2 mm sebagai celah udara untuk dua sisi yang berseberangan. Pengukuran keliling rotor untuk penentuan letak magnet permanen dan ukuran alur-alur sebagai rumah magnet.

Abstract

SOCIAL INTERACTION OF THE STUDENTS ON GROUP 52 OF KKN-TT FOR EMPOWERMENT EFFORTS OF THE COMMUNITY POTENCY IN CIBEBER I VILLAGE, LEUWILIANG, BOGOR.Group 52 of KKN-TT was one of the groups in the community service program held by the Bogor Ibn Khadun University in the City of Bogor. The Group 52 of KKN-TT activity was devoted to communities in Cibeber I Village, Leuwiliang, Bogor with three main programs and three supporting programs. The main programs cover the fields of formal and non-formal teaching, health and environment, and religion, while supporting programs include the economic field, the use of information technology, and relations in society. The six fields in the work program consist of fifteen types of planned and scheduled activities. Fifteen types of activities are a form of social interaction between students on Group 52 of KKN-TT and community in a potency of empower of the community. The achievement of all activities ranges from 80% to 100% with a number of impacts on the community, in the form of long-term benefits.

Abstract

UTILIZATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR UPDATING THE MAP OF VILLAGE FACILITIES IN DESA PEMAGARSARI, PARUNG, BOGOR. A work program to support the updating of the map of village facilities by a number of students belonging to the Group 13 of KKN-TT from Bogor Ibn Khaldun University in Desa Pemagarsari, Parung, Bogor. The process of updating the map of village facilities is in the form of social interaction between students belonging to the Group 13 of KKN-TT Bogor Ibn Khaldun University in 2017 with the target community represented by the staffs of Desa Pemagarsari. This paper aims to convey information about a number of stages for the process of updating and the physical form of updated for the map of village facilities. Abstract

EXISTENCES OF THE PARTICIPATION MODEL OF MEMBERS ON “TERAS TANI” IN DESA KAREHKEL, BOGOR. A preliminary study has been conducted to review the existence of the participation model of “Teras Tani” members in Desa Karehkel. Three descriptions are related to this, namely the inventory of activities of the members of “Teras Tani”, depiction of the basic conception of community participation according to Arnstein, and comparison of the reality of the participation of members of “Teras Tani” against the basic conception of participation according to Arnstein. Inventory of the activities of the members of the “Teras Tani”, including (i) implementing excellent programs, (ii) maintaining groupings in social interactions in the community, (iii) grouping rice fields, (iv) attention to the growth of superior rice plants, and (v) implementation harvest time. The depiction of the basic conception of community participation according to Arnstein, includes depictions of non-participation, tokenism, and the citizen power. Conclusions in accordance with the objectives of observing community service activities, namely (i) all members feel the benefits of the existence of farmer groups “Teras Tani”, (ii) typologies of steps of community participation can be easily illustrated in community organizations, one of them is a farmer group at the village level, and (iii) arguments for diverse citizen participation are emphasized on benefits through community organizing based on the same power.

Abstract

A radio communication system (RCS) based on digital trunking of the digital mobile radio (DMR) type of Tier-III with any of the brands is installed, consisting of mobile radio devices, portable radio devices, repeater devices, devices antenna, and power supply device. The technical specifications for these types of equipment have been approved by institution-owned. This paper describes a radio communication system infrastructure based on a digital trunking RCS for predicting the area coverage for independent or private use. The research contributions of this study include (a) predicting the signal of area coverage of the repeater and radio devices and (b) observing results of communication performance on the DMR Tier-III Trunking radio communication system. Research methods for achieving research objectives, including five main parameters are required connectivity, the DMR application for predicting radio signal area coverage of the repeater system, and observation of the communication performance. Tuning on the repeater system include five conditions, while on radio equipment includes four conditions. Prediction and observation of the coverage area based on seven parameters as input. The simulation results are in the form of a screenshot with an area coverage of 140.938 kilometers. The observation of communication performance through dummy loads in the form of providing types of artificial condition calls. In general, after the research objectives are obtained, it is expected that the system is well connected.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat oleh dosen dengan objek sasaran pada manajemen Sekolah Islam Terpadu (SIT) Aliya di Kota Bogor, melalui ide, implementasi, dan pendanaan mandiri. Tujuan observasi awal ini, yaitu pemaparan dan penjabaran sejumlah topik yang berkaitan dengan disiplin keilmuan di bidang keteknikan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan untuk pemaparan sejumlah topik, dilakukan melalui penerbitan surat permohonan dari Direktur SIT Aliya ke Dekan Fakultas Teknik dan Sains (FTS), penerbitan surat tugas dari Dekan FTS, dan penyampaian sejumlah topik disertai deskripsi yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi SIT Aliya, sedangkan penjabaran lebih lanjut terhadap topik yang disepakati, dilakukan melalui penjabaran dalam rentang waktu dan kesempatan dan tinjauan lapangan dan pengukuran sejumlah parameter. Hasil kegiatan berkenaan dengan sejumlah topik di bidang keteknikan, berupa pemaparan dan diskusi yang telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 dan 24 Oktober 2019, sedangkan penjabaran berkenaan dengan sejumlah topik yang disepakati, berupa kegiatan presentasi dan diskusi yang dilaksanakan pada hari Kamis, 21 November 2019 dan ditundaklanjuti dengan tinjauan lapangan dan pengukuran parameter. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimupulkan, bahwa topik-topik sesuai disiplin keilmuan di bidang keteknikan dan pemilihan topic yang disepakati untuk kondisi kekinian dan kedisinian di lingkungan SIT Aliya Kota Bogor sangat relevan dan diperlukan.

Abstract

Penempatan dan pemasangan sistem panel surya dengan modul terkonfigurasi seri-paralel sebagai salah satu bentuk optimasi pemanfaatan secara langsung energi dari sinar matahari menjadi daya listrik melalui mekanisme konversi energi. Prediksi daya keluaran panel surya seri-paralel yang terpasang dengan sudut tetap sebesar dua puluh derajat ke arah Timur Laut telah direalisasikan. Perhitungan daya keluaran sebagai karakteristik panel surya dan pembuatan persamaan regresi linear melalui linearisasi fungsi tak-linear yang dilanjutkan dengan uji validasi terhadap koefisien korelasi merupakan dua sasaran penelitian pada makalah ini. Perolehan daya keluaran merupakan hasil penghitungan berdasarkan data hasil pengukuran tegangan dan arus pada panel surya seri-paralel terpasang, dimulai dari pukul 08.00 WIB berselang 60 menit sampai pukul 15.00 WIB sebanyak 5 (lima) kali, yaitu hari pertama, kedua, ketiga, keempat, dan kelima. Panel surya terpasang dari jenis polycrystalline dengan daya seratus watt peak setiap modulnya. Perolehan nilai maksimum tegangan dan arus bervariasi, sehingga daya keluaran yang diperoleh pun juga variatif. Nilai maksimum tegangan dan arus dari lima kali pengukuran terjadi pada pukul 11.00 dan 12.00 WIB, sehingga diperoleh daya keluaran maksimum pada waktu-waktu tersebut. Berdasarkan nilai daya keluaran rata-rata dari lima kali pengukuran diperoleh persamaan berbentuk eksponensial y = 55,206e-0,002x, sehingga dilakukan proses linearisasi dan diperoleh persamaan matematis berbentuk regresi linier y = -0,0016877 + 4,01106539x. Setelah proses dan pembuatan koefisien korelasi diperoleh nilai r sebesar -0,0940276176. Nilai tersebut masih dalam rentang , sehingga masih sesuai persyaratan, walau dengan kriteria sangat lemah terkait dengan keterhubungan pada persamaan regresi linear. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan, bahwa metode linearisasi fungsi tak-linear dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk penentuan keterhubungan variabel tak-bebas terhadap variabel bebasnya, sedangkan untuk pencapaian kriteria keterhubungan sangat baik dipengaruhi oleh sejumlah faktor penting.
