Abstract

This study examines the influence of Civic Education in preventing bullying behavior among 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Bojonegoro. The background highlightsthe increasing cases of bullying in edecational environments and the strategic role of Civic Education in shaping students’ character through values like tolerance, empathy, and social responsibility. The research aims to determine the extent to which Civic Education impacts bullying prevention. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires from 36 students and analyzed using simple linear regression. Results indicate a singnificant negative correlation (t = -9.630, p = 0.000), showing that higher understanding of Civic Education reduces bullying tendencies. The study concludes that Civic Education effectively fosters anti-bullying attitudes among students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the Quiz Team learning paradigm is implemented and how it affects students engagement in the Pancasila Education course. The study was carried out using a descriptive method and a quantitative approach at MAN 2 Bojonegoro. Teachers and students in class X served as research subjects, and data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Quiz Team learning model is carried out in three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the learning process, students were divided into small groups, encouraged to collaborate, and motivated through quizzes that stimulated their engagement. The findings demonstrate that using the Quiz Team concept increases student engagement, as evidenced by increased participation, enthusiasm, and responsibility during learning activities. In conclusion, the Quiz Team model proves effective in enhancing student engagement in Pancasila Education

Abstract

The activity of writing scientific papers, especially scientific articles, is one of the activities that must be done by professional teachers. Apart from being a professional demand, writing scientific papers for teachers is also a form of scientific implementation and dissemination to the community. The purpose of this training activity is expected to improve the ability to write scientific papers, especially scientific articles for teachers. The method of implementing this training is divided into three stages. First, the presentation of the material, the two participants were divided into groups to discuss things that could be raised as the theme of writing scientific articles, the third practice in groups with the guidance of lecturers of the PPKn study program, Faculty of Teacher Training, PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya, and assistance to complete activities synchronously and asynchronously. This training resulted in 9 scientific articles that have been worked on by teacher groups, three of which are the results of the implementation of classroom action research (PTK) that has been previously carried out by teachers, and there are two participant articles that have been successfully uploaded to the national online journal Pacivic Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya.

Abstract

Mathematics is often perceived as a difficult and uninteresting subject, a sentiment shared by students at SMAN 1 Balen. One effective solution to this challenge is the integration of technology-based learning media. The objective of this community engagement program was to train and introduce the Winplot application to students at SMAN 1 Balen to aid in solving quadratic equation problems. This program was conducted in three phases: 1) Preparation, which involved an initial observation of the school to assess needs; 2) Implementation, where training on the use of the Winplot application was delivered through lectures, group discussions, and practical exercises; and 3) Evaluation, to measure the program's effectiveness. The results indicate that 70% of the students were able to competently operate the Winplot application and effectively use it to solve quadratic equation problems. This initiative demonstrates the potential of technology to make mathematics more accessible and engaging for high school students.

Abstract

AbstractEducation is a very important field for human life. Education can encourage the improvementof human quality in the form of increasing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies.The purpose of this study was to find out the views of students of Pancasila and citizenshipeducation programs on the teaching profession. This study was designed as a qualitativedescriptive study with a single embedded case study strategy. Data sources were obtained fromthe research subjects as follows; 1) Informants / Resource Persons, namely students of thePancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program; 2) Student activities when discussing theprofession of an educator. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, directobservation and document analysis. The data validity technique uses standards of credibility,transferability and dependability and confirmation. Data analysis techniques use interactivemethods. The results of the study can be concluded that the views of students on the teachingprofession are teaching professionals is a respectable profession, the existence of the teachingprofession in the community according to students Educators are community teachers,educators as dampening conflicts of cultural differences and profiles of ideal educatorsaccording to students and reasons students view the teaching profession The ideal teacher doesnot have selfishness so the teacher can be said to be a teacher who is able to understand thewishes of students.Keywords: Views, Students, Professional Educators

Abstract

ABSTRACTEducation is very important for humans, by obtaining good education humans will become cultured, dignified, and independent individuals. School is a place for students to receive formal education, but the education provided is not yet optimal especially in terms of student literacy, this is due to various reasons in each school. SMP Plus Al-Amanah School is a private school located in Dukuh Balongsumber, Sumbertlaseh, Bojonegoro Regency which has a library with an area of 135 m2 located in the eastern part of the school, but the book collection in the library is limited. In addition, the classrooms in the western part of the school have not been equipped with a library, so students in the western part have to walk around ± 200 meters to visit the library if they want to read a book. Community service has been carried out as an effort to increase students' interest in reading with the method of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this community service is to facilitate students whose classrooms are located in the western part to continue reading books during break time, and students will alternately fill the wall magazine with motivational sentences and clippings from newspapers. ABSTRAKPendidikan sangatlah penting bagi manusia, dengan mendapatkan pendidikan yang baik manusia akan menjadi manusia yang bermartabat, berbudaya serta mandiri. Sekolah merupakan wadah bagi siswa untuk mendapatkan pendidikan formal, namun pendidikan yang diselenggarakan belum cukup optimal khususnya pada literasi siswa, semua terjadi karena berbagai macam alasan yang ada di sekolah masing-masing. Sekolah SMP Plus Al-Amanah merupakan sekolah swasta yang beralamatkan di Dukuh Balongsumber Desa Sumbertlaseh Kecamatan Dander Kabupaten Bojonegoro yang memiliki perpustakaan cukup luas yaitu 135 m2 yang berlokasi di sekolah bagian Timur, selain itu buku yang tersedia di perpustakaan juga terbatas, sedangkan ruang kelas yang bagian barat belum memiliki perpustakaan sehingga siswa yang berada di sekolah bagian barat harus menempuh perjalanan sekitar eter untuk bisa mengunjungi perpustakaan jika hendak membaca buku. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilakukan sebagai upaya memotivasi minat membaca siswa dengan metode yang digunakan adalah persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mempermudah siswa yang ruang kelas sekolahnya berada di bagian barat untuk tetap bisa membaca buku di sela-sela jam istirahat serta siswa secara bergantian akan mengisi majalah dinding dengan kalimat motivasi dan kliping dari surat kabar.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal terkait operasi hitung pecahan berdasarkan Teori Newman pada siswa kelas IV SDI Luqman Al-Hakim Bojonegoro. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDI Luqman Al-Hakim Bojonegoro Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah observasi, soal tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam pemahaman konsep operasi hitung pecahan berdasarkan Teori Newman yaitu : (1) kesalahan memahami masalah yaitu siswa tidak lengkap dalam menuliskan informasi yang ada dalam soal, (2) kesalahan transformasi masalah yaitu siswa tidak bisa menulis operasi hitung yang digunakan dengan benar, (3) kesalahan ketrampilan proses yaitu siswa tidak menggunakan prosedur penyelesaian dengan benar, (4) kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir yaitu siswa tidak dapat menuliskan kesimpulan dengan benar. Kesalahan yang tidak dilakukan siswa adalah kesalahan membaca soal.Kata kunci: Kesalahan; Newman; Konsep; PecahanAbstract: This research to describe the types of students concept errors in solving problems fraction operation  with the Newman’s theory in the fourth grade Luqman Al-Hakim Integral Elementary School Bojonegoro. The approach research used is a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive type. The subject is  fourth grade Luqman Al-Hakim Integral Elementary School Bojonegoro in 2020/2021 Academic Year totaling 22 students. The research method used is observation,  test questions, interview, and documentation. The research data show that the types of students concept errors in solving problems fraction operation  with the Newman’s theory : (1) comprehension errors, students are not complete in writing the information in the questions, (2) transformation errors, students can’t write which arithmetic operations are used correctly, (3) process skill errors, students don’t use solution the procedure correctly, (4) conclusion errors, students can’t write conclusions correctly. The error that the students didn’t make was a reading error. Keywords: Error, Newman, Concept, Fraction
