Abstract

Indonesia is an agrarian country rich in agricultural commodities, one of which is dragon fruit. Dragon fruit has high economic value and health benefits. However, the productivity of dragon fruit plants is greatly influenced by the duration and intensity of sunlight, which becomes a challenge during the rainy season or days with low light intensity. This study aims to design an automatic lighting control system based on a microcontroller with On/Off scheduling features to support dragon fruit cultivation in Krajan Village, Yosomulyo Village, Banyuwangi Regency. This system utilises Internet of Things (IoT) technology and the NTP protocol for time synchronisation, enabling real-time monitoring of sensors and lighting control without direct user intervention. The method used involved the design and testing of the microcontroller from January to February 2025. Test results indicate that the use of yellow LED lights can enhance flowering and plant growth by extending photosynthesis duration, particularly at night. Thus, this system effectively increases dragon fruit productivity and quality while providing an efficient solution for farmers facing natural lighting limitations.

Abstract

The decline in students' character values ​​negatively impacts deviant behavior, such as easily believing false news and their inability to compete in society due to their constant dependence on others. This indicates that the achievement of national education goals as stated in Pancasila is still  not optimal. K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari has also initiated his ideas written in the Book of Adabul Alim Wal Mutaallim on how to integrate character values in education, one of which is through the Neuroscience-based evaluation media "Mihya Arabiy". Based on this background, this article focuses on examining the form of integration of Character Values based on the thoughts of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari in the Mihya Arabiy evaluation media. A qualitative approach and a case study type were used in this study. Data were collected using the Observation method of Arabic language learning in Class VII MTS and analyzed using an interactive model pioneered by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the Integration of character values based on the thoughts of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari in the Neuroscience-based evaluation media Mihya Arabiy is shown with four characters: independence, accuracy, critical thinking, and creative thinking. These four characters are contained in the Neuroscience-based Evaluation media, which has a positive impact on interactive learning, language skills, and improving students' moral value.   ويؤثر تراجع القيم الأخلاقية لدى الطلاب سلبًا على سلوكياتهم المنحرفة، مثل سهولة تصديق الأخبار الكاذبة، وعجزهم عن المنافسة في المجتمع نتيجة اعتمادهم الدائم على الآخرين. وهذا يدل على أن تحقيق أهداف التعليم الوطني، كما وردت في بانكاسيلا، لا يزال دون المستوى الأمثل. كما طرح الحاج الشيخ هاشم أشعرى أفكاره المكتوبة في كتاب "أداب العالم والمتعلم" حول كيفية دمج قيم الشخصية في عملية التعليم، ومن بينها من خلال وسيلة التقييم القائمة على علم الأعصاب "مهيا عربي. وبناء على هذه الخلفية، تركز هذه المقالة على دراسة صيغة اندماح القيم الأخلاقية استناداً إلى أفكار الحاج الشيخ هاشم أشعرى في وسائل التقييم "مهيا عربي". وتعتمد هذه الدراسة على منهج نوعي ودراسة حالة. وجُمعت البيانات باستخدام أسلوب الملاحظة لتعليم اللغة العربية في الصف السابع من المرحلة المتوسطة ومقابلة مع معلم والطلاب فيه، وحُللت البانات باستخدام نموذج تفاعلي ابتكره مايلز وهوبرمان. وتشير نتائج هذه الدراسة إلى أن اندماج قيم الأخلاقية، بناءً على أفكار الحاج الشيخ هاشم أشعرى، في برنامج التقييم  العصبي "مهيا عربي"، يتجلى في أربع سمات: الاستقلالية، والدقة، والتفكير النقدي، والتفكير الإبداعي. وتتجلى هذه السمات الأربع في برنامج التقييم القائم على علم الأعصاب، ومما يُسهم إيجابيًا في التعليم التفاعلي، ومهارات اللغة، وتنمية القيم الأخلاقية لدى الطلاب.

Abstract

Religion is not only defined as the relationship between the Creatorand His creations but can also function as a basis for social actionin the form of religious philanthropic movements and be appliedthrough various humanitarian activities. This paper aims toexplain that humanitarian social movements can be carried out byinstitutions initiated and based on religious principles. The purposeof these institutions is to distribute aid and strive to improve theliving standards of marginalized groups or the poor. In its concept,the welfare of the poor is not sufficient merely by providing economicassistance in the form of charity; it must be complemented withlong-term programs such as education, health, skills training, andprogram monitoring. Therefore, religious philanthropy has an activerole in providing universal public services without discriminationbetween individuals.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of eclectic methods in learning Arabic at the Darul Falah Lima Jombang Islamic Boarding School. Arabic is taught only once a week at dawn using a mixed method (eclectic), which combines reading, writing and question and answer methods. This method is effective in improving students' learning abilities, stimulating enthusiasm for learning, reducing boredom, and preventing students from depending on just one method. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique is carried out by reducing information, displaying data, and concluding research results, as well as applying source triangulation to achieve data validity. The research results show that 1) The process of implementing selective methods in teaching Arabic at the Darul Falah Lima Jombang Islamic Boarding School combines reading, writing and question and answer methods. The teacher delivers material through short dialogues about daily activities, asks students to listen and imitate, then presents reading text related to the dialogue. Students read the text silently for five minutes, then several students read it in front of the class. Students are also asked to write vocabulary from the text. The lesson ends with the teacher asking questions related to the reading text, which the students answer. 2). the application of eclectic methods helps students get excited about learning and improve their Arabic language skills. However, the obstacles faced include a lack of practice using new vocabulary, students being sleepy in class and the minimum number of hours studying Arabic is insufficient.
