Abstract

Indonesia memiliki literasi keuangan yang tergolong rendah , hal ini berdasarkan pada survei terbaru dari Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) yang dilakukan pada tahun 2022. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali remaja rentang usia 10 – 19 tahun sehingga menguasai pemahaman yang memadai mengenai keterampilan hidup berbasis keuangan (financial life skill) yang akan berguna bagi para pelajar SMP hingga mahasiswa yang berada di rentang usia di dunia kerja yang akan dimasukan dalam waktu dekat setelah lulus sekolah. Pelatihan ini menggunakan zoom berbentuk webinar untuk memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai pentingnya literasi keuangan. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini berjumlah 700 orang melalui zoom dan 2.600 melalui youtube channel. Pelatihan ini memberikan dampak yang positif dengan semakin meningkatnya pengetahuan tentang literasi keuangan dan pentingnya menabung sejak usia dini.

Abstract

Technological development is one of the important factors in the process of purchasing decisions that affect consumer spending patterns. These changes are not just happening in Indonesia, but apply globally. The availability of high-speed internet connections, as well as the consumer's receipt of the presence of the power of social media and the number of online offerings increasingly attractive, support very well the growth of online business. This research aims to study the consumer behavior changes in the digital age. Data collection is done with a qualitative approach in the form of focus group discussion and depth interviews in several cities in Indonesia. Research results are applied as the basis for consideration for Small Medium Enterprises in conducting its marketing strategies adaptation in order to be sustainable in the digital age.

Abstract

Background: Entrepreneurial performance is essential for start-ups' development, particularly the ability to transition smoothly from experimentation to scaling. Start-ups' performance in Indonesia remains challenging in that the failure rate is up to 90% within the first five years.Purpose: This study aims to assess the direct influence of personal and environmental factors through experience characteristics on entrepreneurial performance in start-ups in Indonesia and the indirect influence of these factors through experience characteristics on entrepreneurial performance.Design/methodology/approach: This study employed a quantitative approach, applying Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling to analyze data collected from questionnaires distributed to 268 start-ups in Indonesia.Finding/Results: The results indicated that personal and environmental factors significantly enhance experience characteristics and entrepreneurial performance. This study also found that personal and environmental factors through experience characteristics significantly enhance entrepreneurial performance in Indonesian start-ups.Conclusion: This study evaluated how experience characteristics as a mediator strengthen the impact of personal factors on entrepreneurial performance and weaken the impact of environmental factors on entrepreneurial performance. This research possesses academic and managerial implications, particularly for advancing scientific progress in entrepreneurial performance models in start-ups in Indonesia.Originality/value (State of the art): Start-ups must enhance their entrepreneurial performance by focusing on personal factors, including entrepreneurial education and passion, as well as environmental factors like developing a more dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem, improving marketing techniques, and aligning with global market demand. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan literasi menabung di kalangan remaja SMA Pahlawan Toha Bandung. Studi ini penting dilakukan mengingat rendahnya tingkat literasi keuangan dan kebiasaan menabung di kalangan remaja Indonesia. Metode pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan Community Based research dengan mengumpulkan data dan menganalisa permasalahan yang terjadi di pelajar SMA . Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa siswa SMA memiliki kebiasaan menabung rendah sehingga diberikan materi mengenai kebiasaan menabung sejak remaja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian kecil siswa SMA Pahlawan Toha Bandung memiliki kesadaran akan pentingnya menabung, masih diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan kebiasaan menabung mereka. Rekomendasi meliputi peningkatan edukasi finansial di sekolah, program mentoring keuangan, dan kolaborasi dengan lembaga keuangan untuk memfasilitasi akses ke produk tabungan yang sesuai untuk remaja.

Abstract

This dedication to the community is aimed at equipping high school/SME students with an adequate understanding of the financial life skills that will be useful for high school students in the world of work that will enter soon after graduation. The training will be conducted online through five online modules that cover critical thinking in decision-making, budgeting and financial management, positive communication, overcoming the habit of delaying work and being responsible. This module was developed by the USAID YEP program, which will be a partner of community dedication activities. The workshop was held 8 times with a total of 138 youth participants. This dedication to the community provides only five materials so that it opens up opportunities for other activities to provide other materials.

Abstract

Financial Life Skills (FLS) training is a participatory program and collaboration between USAID and the government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Youthwin Through Economic Participant Project (Yep Project). The Financial Life Skills training program also plays a role in contributing to financial literacy awareness for the community, especially the younger generation. The FLS training service method using the experiential learning cycle (ELC) training method. The trainer and participants will engage interactively through various activities such as simulations, role-plays, filling out worksheets, questions, and answer discussions. The ELC method is suitable for FLS training because participants' skills are not enough to hear and see, but participants can first experience training activities. At the end of the training, participants can experience changes in knowledge and attitude as provisions for changing behavior future. Based on the results of participant evaluation, this training provides benefits for the younger generation to become a generation that is productive and smart in managing finances to live prosperously in the future.
