Abstract

Swamedikasi merupakan pengobatan yang dilakukan secara mandiri untuk menangani suatu penyakit yang tergolong ringan tanpa bantuan petugas medis. Batuk merupakan salah satu contoh penyakit yang dapat diobati dengan cara swamedikasi. Batuk merupakan reflek alamiah tubuh untuk mengeluarkan zat asing seperti debu, asap, kotoran, lendir, atau makanan dari dalam saluran pernapasan. Masyarakat di Kecamatan Tirto Kabupaten Pekalongan biasanya akan melakukan pengobatan secara swamedikasi jika menderita sakit batuk. Untuk dapat menggunakan obat batuk secara swamedikasi masyarakat perlu memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang obat batuk serta cara penggunaannya yang rasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat pengetahuan dan rasionalitas swamedikasi batuk pada masyarakat di Kecamatan Tirto Kabupaten Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif observasional dengan teknik Purposive Sampling serta instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan sebanyak 49,2% masyarakat Kecamatan Tirto Kabupaten Pekalongan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan batuk yang tinggi dan sebanyak 62,6% masyarakat menggunakan obat swamedikasi secara rasional. Tingkat pengetahuan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan rasionalitas swamedikasi batuk.Kata kunci: batuk, kuesioner, purposive sampling, swamedikasi

Abstract

The results of observations conducted by researchers at MTs Fathus Salafi found that there were obstacles related to the use of learning media, namely that the school had not used any learning media, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects. Learning media is essential to stimulate students' enthusiasm and encourage them to be more interested in learning activities. This study aims to determine the effect of Prezi media on the learning interest of class IX students in Islamic Religious Education subjects at MTs Fathus Salafi. This type of research is a quantitative research experimental method with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The respondents were class IX students at MTs Fathus Salafi. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire, analyzed for validity and reliability, and then tested with the t-test. The study results obtained tcount = 0.553 <ttable = 1.669 with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.582> 0.05, so Ha was rejected, and H0 was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Prezi media has no influence on the learning interest of grade IX students in Islamic Religious Education subjects at MTs Fathus Salafi in the 2020/2021 Academic Year.

Abstract

The present study aims to analyse the effect of service quality and price perception on loyalty, as mediated by customer satisfaction, in the context of the selection of educational institutions by parents of students. The study adopts a quantitative approach, utilising a survey method, and involves 181 respondents who are parents of students. These respondents were selected through a purposive sampling technique. The data collection was conducted through a Google Form-based questionnaire, while data analysis employed the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method, utilising WarpPLS V.8 software. The results of the analysis demonstrate that service quality and price perception exert a substantial influence on parental satisfaction and loyalty. The study concluded that good service quality fosters trust and satisfaction, while reasonable price perception fosters long-term loyalty. The findings of this study corroborate the significance of service and pricing strategies in enhancing learner retention.

Abstract

This study examines the digital readiness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector in Tuntang District, Semarang Regency in facing the Industry 4.0 era. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach, involving 75 culinary MSME owners through questionnaires and structured interviews. The results show that the majority of culinary MSMEs in Tuntang District are at the "transition" level of digital readiness (62%), while 23% are still at the "basic" stage and only 15% have reached the "advanced" level. Factors influencing digital readiness include the digital literacy of business owners, availability of technological infrastructure, financial support, and demographic characteristics of business actors. The main challenges faced by MSME owners include limited knowledge of digital technology, minimal access to training, limited capital for technology investment, and the age of business actors who are predominantly over 40 years old. This research recommends the need for sustainable technical assistance programs, provision of special funding access for technology adoption, and development of a digital ecosystem that supports the transformation of local culinary MSMEs.

Abstract

Snakehead fish, specifically the Channa striata species, are known to have an abundance of albumin. However, there is limited information available regarding alterations in the properties of snakehead fish extracts that have undergone high heat and acid treatment. This presents a compelling research area for further exploration and study. The aim of this study was to determine the optimal portion of the fish and to examine the effect of heating and acidification time on albumin concentration in snakehead fish. The method employed in this study involved heating samples at 70 °C for 0, 15, and 30 min and subjecting them to acidification at pH 1, 4, and 7. The extraction process was conducted using centrifugation at a speed of 6,000 rpm for 60 minutes, followed by absorbance measurement at a wavelength of 280 nm using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer to evaluate the properties of protein extracts.The relationship between albumin levels and protein levels is one of direct proportionality.According to recent studies, snakehead fish extract is a safe and effective topical treatment for skin conditions, with a pH level ranging from 4.5 to 6.5. Furthermore, snakehead meat is a rich source of albumin, containing approximately 22.4 mg of protein per 100 g. The absorbance exhibited a more substantial rise at a temperature of 70oC over a 15-minute period and in a highly acidic environment (pH 1.0). Snakehead fish protein extract is less stable and more susceptible to denaturation than standard bovine serum albumin (BSA).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of constructivist strategies in Arabic language learning to enhance students’ learning interest at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Hariri Tebo Ilir. The study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive case study design to obtain an in-depth understanding of the learning process within the natural context of Islamic boarding school education. The research subjects consisted of 12 informants, including one Arabic language teacher, eight tenth-grade students, and three school management representatives selected purposively based on their involvement in the learning process. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the implementation of constructivist learning strategies was carried out through several approaches, including providing initial motivation, presenting interesting learning materials, applying varied learning methods, utilizing learning media, and conducting continuous evaluation. These strategies succeeded in creating active, contextual, and student-centered learning experiences that increased students’ feelings of enjoyment, interest, attention, and active involvement in Arabic learning.
