Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of the assessment instrument for biology teachers in designing learning tools based on pedagogic and professional competencies and the principal's perception of the assessment instruments that have been developed. The type of research used is instrument development research from the ADDIE model, this model has 5 stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Instrument products before being tested are validated, product validation is carried out by material experts and design experts. Material expert validation got a score of 92% in the "Very Appropriate" category, so the assessment instrument was said to be feasible. Furthermore, the validation of the design experts got a score of 92% in the "Very Appropriate" category, then the practicality of the instrument resulted in 92% in the "Very Practical" category. This assessment instrument was tested one by one by researchers on three principals in Tebo Regency, namely SMA Negeri 3, SMA Negeri 10 and MAN 2. The results of the one-on-one trial were: (1) On each item in the assessment instrument that had been made the material or message conveyed or the purpose of using the assessment instrument is clear to the user. (2) The impact on users is that it can make it easier to make assessments of teachers, the items are specific. (3) The feasibility of using the product is in accordance with the available time. (4) The suitability of the items of the assessment instrument with the real world according to the user is appropriate. The field trial stage obtained an effectiveness of 92% with the "Very Effective" category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the assessment instrument developed could be used by school principals on biology teachers in designing learning tools based on pedagogic and professional competencies. Key words: assessment instruments, teaching tools, pedagogic and professional competence, high school biology teacher Abstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan instrumen asesmen guru biologi dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional dan persepsi kepala sekolah pada instrumen asesmen yang telah dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan instrumen dari model ADDIE, model ini terdapat 5 tahap yaitu: analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Produk instrumen sebelum diujicobakan terlebih dahulu divalidasi, validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli desain. Validasi ahli materi mendapatkan skor 92% kategori “Sangat Sesuai”, sehingga instrumen asesmen dikatakan layak. Selanjutnya validasi ahli desain mendapatkan skor 92% kategori “Sangat Sesuai”, kemudian praktikalitas instrumen dihasilkan sebesar 92% kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Intrumen asesmen ini diuji coba satu-satu oleh peneliti pada tiga kepala sekolah di Kabupaten Tebo yaitu SMA Negeri 3, SMA Negeri 10 dan MAN 2. Hasil uji coba satu-satu yaitu : (1) Pada tiap butir di dalam instrumen asesmen yang telah dibuat materi atau pesan yang disampaikan atau tujuan dari penggunaan instrumen asesmen tersebut sudah jelas bagi pengguna. (2) Dampak bagi pengguna yakni dapat mempermudah dalam melakukan asesmen kepada guru, itemnya sudah spesifik. (3) Kelayakan penggunaan produk tersebut sudah sesuai dengan ketersediaan waktu yang ada (4) Kecocokan butir instrumen asesmen dengan dunia nyata menurut pengguna yaitu sesuai. Tahap uji coba lapangan diperoleh efektivitas sebesar 92% dengan kategori “Sangat Efektif”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa instrumen asesmen yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan oleh kepala sekolah terhadap guru biologi dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi pedagogic dan profesional. Abstract

Media is one of the important components that must exist in a learning process. The aim of this research is to develop science e-comic for human digestive system material for VIII-grade junior high school students. This study uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection instrument used in the form of a validation questionnaire of design experts, material experts, teacher perceptions, and student perceptions of science e-comics. This research was conducted at SMP Insan Madani Boarding School Jambi. The results of validation by material experts obtained a percentage of 90.67% (very valid) and the assessment of media experts obtained a percentage of 90% (very valid). Assessment by the teacher obtained a percentage of 93.125% (very good). The results of the one-on-one trial obtained a total score of 96.67% (very good), the small-group trial scored 94.33% (very good), and the large group trial obtained a score of 92% (very good). In conclusion, science e-comic learning media is suitable for use in distance learning (online). Key words: Learning Media, E-Comic, Human Digestive System   Abstrak. Media merupakan salah satu komponen penting yang harus ada di dalam suatu pembelajaran. Tujan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-komik IPA materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket validasi ahli desain, ahli materi,  persepsi guru dan persepsi siswa terhadap e-komik IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Insan Madani Boarding School Jambi. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh persentase 90,67% (sangat valid) dan penilaian ahli media memperoleh persentase 90% (sangat valid). Penilaian oleh  guru  memperoleh   persentase 93,125% (sangat baik). Hasil uji coba satu-satu diperoleh skor total 96,67% (sangat baik), uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai 94,33% (sangat baik), dan uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh nilai 92% (sangat baik). Kesimpulannya media pembelajaran e-komik IPA  layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh (daring). Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, E-komik, Sistem Pencernaan Manusia

Abstract

One of the measuring tools for evaluating learning outcomes is using a test. As information technology develops, written tests using paper media have changed to online-based tests. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data source for this research was obtained directly from teachers and students using interviews, survey questionnaires, and documentation results. The results of the study show that the online test applications used in Biology lessons at Jambi City Public High Schools are Google Forms, Google Classroom, Edmodo and e-exam applications. The online exam application is used during daily tests, midterm exams and final semester exams. The advantages of the online exam application used are that it does not use paper, fast, saves money, effort and time, exam results can be known quickly. Then the weakness is having to use a stable internet network, requiring internet quota and it is difficult to prevent students from cheating when exams are carried out at home. The obstacle felt by the teacher is that the exam questions must be typed one by one in the application, not all students have an Android smartphone, if the device has too many applications it will take a long time to open the exam application. And the network often lags. The effectiveness of implementing online exam applications is effective in technical terms such as speed of processing time, effort and cost. However, online exam applications are less effective in terms of increasing student learning outcomes and honesty. In general, the responses of teachers and students showed a positive response, respectively 70.52% and 65.78% with good criteria. Abstrak. Salah satu alat ukur evaluasi hasil belajar adalah menggunakan tes. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi informasi, tes terlulis dengan media kertas, berubah menjadi tes berbasis online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh langsung dari guru dan siswa dengan menggunakan wawancara, angket survei, dan hasil dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi ujian online yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Biologi di SMA Negeri Kota Jambi adalah Google Form, Google Classroom, Edmodo dan Aplikasi e-ujian. Aplikasi ujian online digunakan pada saat ulangan harian, ujian tengah semester dan ujian akhir semester. Kelebihan dari aplikasi ujian online yang digunakan adalah tidak menggunakan kertas, cepat, hemat biaya, tenaga dan waktu, hasil ujian dapat diketahui dengan cepat. Kemudian kelemahanya adalah harus menggunakan jaringan internet yang stabil, memerlukan kuota internet dan sulit menghindari siswa untuk berbuat curang ketika ujian dilaksanakan dirumah. Kendala yang dirasakan guru adalah soal ujian harus diketik satu persatu di aplikasi, tidak semua siswa memiliki smartphone android, apabila perangkat terlalu banyak aplikasi maka akan membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk membuka aplikasi ujian. Serta jaringan sering ngelag. Efektivitas penerapan aplikasi ujian online efektif dalam hal teknis seperti kecepatan waktu pengerjaan, tenaga dan biaya. Namun, aplikasi  ujian online kurang efektif dalam hal peningkatan hasil belajar dan kejujuran siswa. Secara umum respon guru dan siswa menunjukkan respon yang positif masing-masing persentase 70,52% dan 65,78% dengan kriteria baik. Kata kunci: Aplikasi, Kota Jambi, Online, Ujian.

Abstract

This study aims to produce critical thinking-based essay items in biology subject matter of environmental change in class X SMA Se-Sungai Bahar, Muaro Jambi Regency. This study uses the RnD research method, with the ADDIE model used as a development model. (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The types of data in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. Data collection techniques used essay test sheets, needs analysis, expert validation and practitioner validation. While the data analysis technique was carried out using qualitative analysis to determine the validity of the instrument items based on critical thinking from experts and quantitative analysis which included validity and reliability tests at each stage. Based on the results that 1) the process of developing critical thinking-based essay item products has been carried out properly by following research procedures. 2) The teacher's perception of critical thinking-based essay items has a very good category and is feasible for testing. 3) students' perceptions of critical thinking-based essay questions have a good category and are feasible to try out. 4) the effectiveness of critical thinking-based essay items in biology subject matter of environmental change in obtaining the average pretest score of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Muaro Jambi, namely 67.30. While the acquisition of students' posttest scores increased, namely 77.63. Meanwhile, the average pretest score for class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Muaro Muaro Jambi was 56.63. While the acquisition of students' posttest scores increased, namely 70.17. These results indicate that there is a difference in the average value of the critical thinking ability of class X SMA Negeri 9 and X SMA Negeri 4 Jambi before the pretest and after the posttest based on critical thinking items. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking pada mata pelajaran biologi materi perubahan lingkungan di kelas X SMA Negeri Se-Sungai Bahar Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan motede penelitaian RnD, dengan model ADDIE digunakan sebagai model pengembangan. (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, dan (5) evaluasi. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar tes essay, analisis kebutuhan, validasi ahli dan validasi praktisi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kualitatif untuk mengetahui validitas instrumen butir soal berbasis critical thinking dari pakar ahli dan analisis kuantitatif yang mencakup uji validitas dan reliabilitas pada setiap tahapnya. Berdasarkan hasil bahawa 1) proses mengembangkan produk butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dengan memngikuti prosedur penelitian. 2) Persepsi guru terhadap butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking memiliki kategori sangat baik dan layak untuk di uji cobakan. 3) persepsi siswa terhadap butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking memiliki kategori baik dan layak untuk di uji cobakan. 4) efektivitas butir soal esay berbasis critical thinking pada mata pelajaran biologi materi perubahan lingkungan di perolehan rata-rata nilai pretest siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Muaro Muaro Jambi yaitu 67,30. Sedangkan perolehan nilai postest siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu 77,63. Sedangkan perolehan rata-rata nilai pretest siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Muaro Muaro Jambi yaitu 56,63. Sedangkan perolehan nilai postest siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu 70,17. Hasil ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata kemampuan critical thinking siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 dan X SMA Negeri 4 Jambi sebelum di dilakukan preetest dan setelah dilakukan posttest butir soal berbasis critical thinking.
