Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, financial technology and digital marketing on MSME business performance in the technological era in Gresik Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with an associative approach. The sampling technique in this research was a probability sampling method with the type of sampling carried out being simple random sampling. The number of respondents used was 100 respondents using a questionnaire. The data was processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with SPSS version 21 software. The results of this research show that: (a) financial literacy has a significant positive influence on MSME business performance. (b) financial technology does not have a significant influence on MSME business performance. (c) digital marketing does not have a significant influence on MSME business performance. The results of this research suggest that the government should provide socialization and education regarding technology, especially regarding financial literacy, financial technology and digital marketing to MSMEs and MSMEs should take part in training or learning related to fintech because we have entered a digital era where it is no longer possible to avoided. Therefore, MSME players must be technologically literate if they want to survive and continue to develop.

Abstract

Grant funds are a Provincial Government program that is disbursed to recipients of grant funds, namely community groups, to improve community welfare through infrastructure development such as road asphalting, concrete rebates, retaining walls, and other programs. This research aims to describe fraudulent practices in managing regional grant funds for community groups starting from planning, implementation, and accountability. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods by collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research found that the fraudulent practice of managing regional grant funds for community groups began when the proposal was ratified, where there was an act of gratification aimed at speeding up the ratification of the grant fund proposal. During the disbursement of grant funds, unreasonable deductions were practiced by community group coordinators. This practice was carried out for the management of community groups starting from submitting proposals to preparing accountability reports. Fictional physical development activities have a strong backing, the aim is to embezzle and profit from the grant budget. Furthermore, grant fund fraud actors colluded with related agencies so that physical construction that did not comply with budget plans escaped supervision.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has led to the emergence of the Metaverse as a potential innovation in the financial sector, particularly in digital banking services. This study explores the role of the Metaverse in financial service innovation by analyzing its opportunities, challenges, and future implications for digital banking. The findings indicate that Metaverse-based financial services offer immersive interactions, enhanced customer experience, and the development of new financial products such as blockchain-based transactions and digital asset investments. However, challenges such as regulatory uncertainties, cybersecurity risks, technological infrastructure limitations, and customer adoption barriers must be addressed for successful implementation. The study concludes that while the Metaverse has the potential to revolutionize financial services, effective strategic planning, investment in technology, regulatory frameworks, and public digital literacy enhancement are essential for its sustainable integration into the banking industry.

Abstract

Accumulating coal combustion waste will negatively affect the neighborhood. Over time, more waste will be generated, which will take time. Processing methods are needed to reduce the increasing amount of coal waste. One processing method is to use ash and bottom ash as a mixture in paving. The study used paving blocks as a control sample for one cement : 3 sand. Fly ash addition variation consists of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% of the cement weight. The compressive strength test results at 28 days and 60 days of control paving blocks with a standard mixture were 17.8 MPa and 24 MPa. The compressive strength results from 0% variations are 10.9 MPa and 15.6 MPa. The 10% variation has a compressive strength of 10.5 MPa and 13.6 MPa. The 20% variation has a compressive strength of 10.25 MPa and 14.5 MPa. The variation is 30%, with compressive strength of 11.5 MPa and 14.86 MPa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of sales/buying and selling income on profitability at Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia which is moderated by operational costs on operational income (BOPO). This research uses secondary data with a quantitative descriptive analysis method, which uses purposive sampling to determine the sample. Data collection methods through observation and documentation. The research results show that there is an influence of sales/buying and selling income on profitability (ROE) both before interacting with the moderating variable and after interacting. The difference is, before BOPO and the predictor variables interact, the effect is significantly positive, but after interacting the effect is significantly negative.

Abstract

Traffic conditions at a median opening are more complex than signalized or unsignalized intersections. Driving behaviors and the driver's ability to maneuver a U-turn can affect median opening performance. Using software such as PTV Vissim, simulations can be carried out to help analyze traffic conditions and make necessary decisions. This study aims to simulate the median opening u-turn using PTV Vissim to resemble actual traffic conditions and validate it statistically. The calibration involves adjusting traffic volume, headway distribution, speed distribution, driving behaviors, conflict area, and critical gap. One of the important parameters in an unsignalized intersection, especially for U-turn movements at median openings, is the necessary gap. Most simulations still focus on driving behavior parameters, while the critical gap should be used as a calibration parameter to determine safe distances. Additionally, headway distribution predicts the arrival of vehicles that will pass through the median opening. This study adds calibration to the headway distribution parameter and critical gap parameter. The validation MAPE and GEH results for the calibrated simulation are good and acceptable. Meanwhile, the uncalibrated (default) simulation shows poor and unacceptable values. This evidence indicates that calibration is essential in the PTV Vissim simulation. Factors that affect the simulation result are inconsistent drivers, aggressive driver behavior, and inability to comply with priority rules. Driving patterns in mixed and heterogeneous traffic conditions create opportunities and spaces for making U-turns. Simulating this factor is challenging, so a more careful calibration is needed.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the role of village government in improving the competence of BUMDes managers and performance. Additionally, it looks at how village government functions as a mediator between manager competency and performance. A total of 100 data points were obtained from BUMDes around Madura and Malang Raya. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the characteristics of respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis to test the effect and moderation analysis with the moderated regression analysis technique to test the role of village government moderating the relationship between manager competence and performance. Conclusion: the role of village government has a positive effect on improving performance. Competence has a positive and significant effect on performance. The role of village government has a positive effect on the competence of managers. The village government is able to mediate the effect of manager competency on performance.
