Abstract

Introduction: Acne vulgaris (acne) is one of the main reasons adolescents and early adults visit dermatology clinics. Several studies have found serious non-physiological effects of acne on adolescents and early adults. Objective: This scoping review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the existing literature on the impact of acne on psychological, psychosocial, and quality of life aspects among adolescents and early adults. Methods: The scoping review was enforced based on Arskey and O'Malley's framework. A structured article search was performed on three databases, namely CINAHL Plus with Full-Text, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. Search words were determined based on elements of population, concept, and context. Article selection and reporting were enforced following the PRISMA-ScR pathway and based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: This study analyzed thirteen articles (ten primary research articles and three literature study articles) which revealed that adolescents and early adults with acne could experience psychological and psychosocial problems as well as decreased quality of life. Discussion: The emergence of psychological and psychosocial impacts of acne was related to one another and could be a predictor of a decrease in the quality of life among adolescents and early adults with acne. Health professionals need to understand the needs of adolescents and early adults regarding the physiological and psychological management of acne

Abstract

This research took place at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Huda, Mandalawangi Center, regarding facilities constraints in the learning process, as well as the challenges of lack of discipline between teachers and students. This research aims to find out how the discipline exists at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Huda, Mandalawangi Center, and find out all the facilities that support the learning process. This research uses qualitative methods, and the results found from this research are; there is still a lack of discipline between teachers and students, as well as a lack of facilities that support the learning process. The future solution to this problem is to be able to improve discipline in the school again, and also to be able to complete the facilities for the learning process at the school.

Abstract

Anak usia sekolah adalah anak usia 6-12 tahun yang merupakan cikal bakal generasi masa depan bangsa, sehingga diperlukan ketahanan dan   kesehatan   mental   yang   optimal   supaya anak   produktif   sesuai   dengan fase perkembangannya. Jika hal tersebut tidak dilakukan maka akan mengalami gangguan perkembangan  psikososial.  Saat  ini  masih  banyak  keluarga  di  komunitas  yang  belum memahami  mengenai  cara  menstimulasi  perkembangan anak  usia  sekolah pada  beberapa jenis  perkembangan  seperti motorik,  kognitif  dan bahasa,  emosi  dan  kepribadian, moral dan  spiritual,  serta  psikososial.  Tujuan  dari  pengabdian  kepada  masyarakat  ini  untuk menstimulasi  anak  usia  sekolah sesuai dengan tahapan tumbuh kembangnya secara  optimal melalui pendekatan terapi  kelompok  terapeutik  (TKT) usia  anak  sekolah.  Kegiatan  pengabdian kepada  masyarakat  ini menggunakan  metode  pelaksanaan  terdiri  dari  tiga  tahap adalah tahap persiapan, pelaksaanaan tindakan  TKT yang  terdiri  dari  lima  (5)  sesi dan  evaluasi. Hasil    kegiatan    ini    menunjukkan mayoritas peserta terjadi peningkatan    tingkat perkembangan dengan  baik pada anak  usia  sekolah  setelah  dilakukan  TKT. Oleh  karena itu,  terapi  kelompok  terapeutik  direkomendasikan sebagai  promosi untuk  menstimulasi perkembangan secara optimal yang mempengaruhi pada kesehatan jiwa anak usiasekolah pada tatanan pelayanan kesehatan jiwa di masyarakat terutama di sekolah.

Abstract

Indonesia saat ini sedang mengalami masalah double-burden nutrition dimana masalah malnutrisi masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam pembangunan kesehatan selama beberapa dekade belakangan. Stunting masih menjadi PR besar Pemerintah Republik IndonesiaMasalah anak pendek (stunting) merupakan salah satu permasalahan kondisi gizi yang sedang dihadapi di Indonesia. Stunting menjadi masalah yang signifikan karena berdampak pada peningkatan risiko terjadinya kesakitan, kematian, penurunan perkembangan otak. sejak  pemerintah   meluncurkan   program   Rencana   Aksi   Nasional Penanganan stunting  tingkat nasional pada tahun 2017, daerah terutama desa. Salah satu bagian dari program   tersebut   adalah   pemcegahan   stunting   yang   terjadi   di   masyarakat.   Karena sebagian   besar   masyarakat   belum   paham   dengan   benar   menganai   stunting,   dan beranggapan  bahwa  stunting  atau  kerdil  sebutan  yang  biasa  digunakan  di  masyarakat adalah  faktor  keturunan. Penyebab anak yang mengalami stunting yaitu akan adanya gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan baik segi fisik maupun kognitif yang optimal atau biasa disebut sebagai Intelligence Quotient (IQ) yang lebih rendah dibandingkan rata-rata anak normal, sehingga perlu dilakukan pencegahan stunting. Dalam melakukan pencegahan stunting tersebut maka perlunya edukasi kepada masyarakat mengenai stunting oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode Focus Group Disscusion (FGD) dengan 15 responden dengan tujuan agar meningkatnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai stunting hingga cara pencegahan stunting. Pengabdian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa pengetahuan responden meningkat hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari pemahaman responden mengenai konsep stunting

Abstract

Stunting is a critical public health challenge in Indonesia, where over 30% of children under five are affected. This scoping review aims to identify sanitation and hygiene (WASH) risk factors associated with stunting prevalence in Indonesia over the past decade. Using the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and PRISMA-ScR guidelines, relevant studies were systematically identified, analyzed, and synthesized. Findings reveal a strong link between stunting and inadequate WASH conditions, including limited access to clean water, poor sanitation infrastructure, and inconsistent hygiene practices like handwashing with soap. Key challenges include the prevalence of open defecation, improper waste management, and reliance on unimproved water sources, particularly in low-income households. These conditions contribute to chronic diarrhea and environmental contamination, exacerbating stunting risks. Women are pivotal in mitigating these risks through improved hygiene, nutrition, and parenting practices. To combat stunting effectively, targeted interventions should focus on expanding access to clean water, enhancing sanitation infrastructure, and fostering behavioral changes in hygiene practices. Community-based programs and policies emphasizing women’s education and empowerment, alongside integrated WASH initiatives, are crucial for sustainable reductions in stunting prevalence and promoting child health in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the economic resilience of the Huntap Semeru community through collaborative learning initiatives focused on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and innovation. The goal is to address financial constraints and empower residents to achieve sustainable economic recovery following the 2021 Mount Semeru eruption. The study employs a quantitative descriptive method to assess the differences in knowledge and skills before and after collaborative learning. A purposive sample of 10 active participants from the Huntap Semeru area was selected. Data collection involved structured questionnaires covering entrepreneurship knowledge, financial literacy, innovation capabilities, and financial constraints. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation tests to evaluate the relationship between financial literacy, innovation, and financial constraint reduction. The findings reveal significant improvements in understanding entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and innovation post-learning. Pretest accuracy, averaging 30%, increased to over 80% in the posttest. Collaborative learning effectively bridges knowledge gaps and motivates the community to explore innovative solutions. Enhanced financial literacy equips residents to manage budgets and investments, reducing financial constraints and supporting economic sustainability. This research contributes to practical applications by offering a replicable model of community-based learning to empower disaster-affected populations.

Abstract

This research seeks to investigate the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on firm value, with profitability examined as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative explanatory approach, the study uses purposive sampling as its sampling technique. The sample comprises 15 energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2021 and 2023, yielding a total of 45 firm-year observations. The analytical methods involve panel data regression and mediation analysis using the Sobel test. The findings reveal that CSR does not have a significant influence on profitability, nor does it directly affect firm value. However, profitability is found to have a significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, CSR is not shown to impact firm value indirectly through profitability. Although CSR is often regarded as a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing corporate image and fostering long-term sustainability, the results suggest that within the context of energy companies during the observed period, CSR activities have not generated sufficient financial benefits to boost profitability, and consequently, do not contribute meaningfully to the enhancement of firm value.

Abstract

Isu kesehatan mental beberapa tahun belakangan ini cukup populer dibahas khususnya yang menimpa Generasi Z atau anak kelahiran tahun 1997-2012. Mirisnya, Gen-Z ini adalah generasi yang diprediksi akan menjadi calon pemimpin Indonesia Emas pada 2045 mendatang. Permasalahan mental health ini pastinya harus segera diatasi karena mempunyai pengaruh besar pada  perkembangan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi baik di masyarakat sekitar dan negara ini pada umumnya. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mendeteksi dini gangguan mental pada remaja dan dewasa awal.  Metode pelaksanaan yaitu melakukan suvey pendahuluan untuk melihat kondisi di kampus universitas YPIB Majalengka, melakukan skrinning kesehatan jiwa dan sosialisasi tentang pencegahan masalah kesehatan jiwa. Setelah melakukan skrinning responden diberikan Pendidikan kesehatan tentang cara mengatasi kecemasan dan depresi. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini yaitu responden berjumlah 50 dengan 66% mengalami gejala distres psikologis yang ringan, 16% mengalami gejala distres psikologis yang tinggi (perlu diwaspadai), dan sebanyak 18% yang tidak menunjukkan gejala distres psikologis. Dengan jumlah partisipan 80% adalah berjenis kelamin Perempuan dan 20% berjenis kelamin laki – laki dengan usia berada pada rentang usia dewasa awal. Kegiatan ini dapat menjadi suatu acuan bagi pihak Puskesmas dan kader kesehatan jiwa untuk berkolaborasi selanjutnya dalam melakukan promosi kesehatan khususnya masalah kesehatan jiwa pada semua rentang usia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas integrasi model outdoor learning berbantuan media audiovisual pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Sosial di kelas III B Sekolah Alam Muara Bungo. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran anatomi tumbuhan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Model pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah Outdoor Learning dengan dukungan media audiovisual. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap 17 siswa yang terdiri atas 11 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari pra-siklus sebesar 35,29 persen menjadi 82,35 persen pada siklus II. Penerapan Outdoor Learning berbantuan media audiovisual terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Alam Muara Bungo
