Abstract

The purpose of writing this review article is to analyze the formulation and evaluation of the use of various additives in effervescent tablets. The method used is a literature review taken from journals and other relevant research results regarding the formulation and evaluation of additives in various types of effervescent tablets. The purpose of this analysis is to provide a summary of relevant publications and to improve current understanding in this field. The importance of the formulation and evaluation of additives in effervescent tablets cannot be ignored, because it is a crucial aspect in product development. Decisions in the use of additives must consider the objectives to be achieved, the desired physical characteristics, product stability, and the level of consumer acceptance. With a deep understanding of this formulation and evaluation, we have the potential to produce high-quality effervescent tablets. Variations in additives can also provide different taste and texture characteristics, which of course can affect consumer acceptance.

Abstract

This study examines the improvement of students' inquiry skills facilitated through the implementation of a guided inquiry learning strategy accompanied by the use of audiovisual media, and measures the magnitude of the improvement of these skills after the implementation of this strategy. This study adopted a nonequivalent control group design as a type of quasi-experiment. All students in grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Garung became the target population. The selected sample subjects were VIII C class as the treatment group, and VIII A class as the comparison group with non-random sample selection method. The instruments utilized in this research are test devices, observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the analysis showed that the inquiry skills of students who received a guided inquiry strategy accompanied by audiovisual media had a higher average than those who only received a guided inquiry strategy without audiovisual media. The results of the comparison test of the means of two independent groups with a significance level of 5% resulted in a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so ha is accepted while ho is rejected. Testing with the N-Gain metric showed that the average score of the treatment group was 0.75, which was in the high category, while the average score of the comparison group was 0.68, which was in the medium category. Based on this analysis, it can be seen that the guided inquiry strategy with audiovisual media support is effective in improving students' inquiry skills.

Abstract

Centella asiatica (locally “rendeng”) is often considered a weed despite its nutritional and economic potential. This community-engaged study aimed to develop an innovative Rendeng chip product and evaluate a digital marketing strategy to empower residents of Laranganlor Village. The method was a qualitative community service approach consisting of stakeholder confirmation, community socialization, hands-on product training, packaging instruction, and guided digital marketing (WhatsApp Business, e-commerce, simple visual content). Key findings: local government support facilitated implementation; technical training and improved packaging raised product quality; digital marketing expanded market reach and produced initial sales inquiries; monitoring revealed gaps in recipe standardization, equipment (precision scales, oil thermometers), and digital literacy that must be addressed to ensure sustainability and scale-up.

Abstract

Avocado plants (Persea americana Mill.) are plants that can be widely used as medicinal plants. Avocado seeds are often used empirically as traditional medicine, namely anti-inflammatory, overcoming constipation, maintaining endurance and treating diabetes mellitus. The use of avocado seeds as traditional medicine is because they have secondary metabolic compounds, one of which is flavonoids. This study aims to determine the total levels of flavonoid compounds in avocado seed ethanol extract using the UV-Vis spectrophotometry method. The study was conducted using qualitative and quantitative testing. The results of the study on avocado seed ethanol extract using qualitative testing with the Wilstater Cyanidin method and the  reagent method showed positive flavonoid content. While qualitative testing using the UV-Vis spectrophotometry method, it was obtained that the avocado seed ethanol extract had flavonoid content with an average level of 101.70 mgQE/g extract.   ABSTRAK Tanaman alpukat (Persea americana Mill.) merupakan tanaman yang secara luas dapat digunakan sebagai tanaman obat. Biji alpukat secara empiris sering digunakan sebagai obat tradisional, yaitu anti radang, mengatasi sembelit, menjaga daya tahan tubuh dan mengobati diabetes mellitus. Pemanfaatan biji alpukat sebagai obat tradisional karena memiliki senyawa metabolik sekunder, salah satunya yaitu flavonoid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui total kadar senyawa flavonoid pada ekstrak etanol biji alpukat menggunakan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengujian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian pada ekstrak etanol biji alpukat menggunakan pengujian kualitatif dengan metode Wilstater Cyanidin dan metode pereaksi  menunjukkan positif memiliki kandungan flavonoid. Sedangkan pengujian kualitatif menggunakan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis, diperoleh bahwa ekstrak etanol biji alpukat memiliki kandungan flavonoid dengan rata-rata kadar yaitu sebesar 101,70 mgQE/g ekstrak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of entrepreneurial competence of school principals in an effort to improve teacher welfare at MI Ma'arif Nu Hidayatul Mubtadiin Padangasri Jatirejo Mojokerto with a research focus: How is the implementation of entrepreneurial competence of school principals in an effort to improve teacher welfare, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of head entrepreneurial competence schools in improving the welfare of teachers MI Ma'arif NU Hidayatul Mubtadiin Padangasri Jatirejo Mojokerto The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data collection techniques are used by observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques are made by data reduction, data display and conclusion (verification) and data validity. The results of this study indicate that: (1) indicate that the implementation of entrepreneurial competence of school principals is reflected in various innovative programs, such as the English-based Billingual Program, Student Shuttle Car, and Morning Prayer (TPQ). Commitment to work hard, have motivation, the principal also pays attention to the welfare of teachers with various forms of support, such as payment of salaries according to certification standard salary, THR, health benefits, allocation of BOS funds, and Family Gathering events. (2) Supporting factors include the experience of school principals in entrepreneurship, innovative programs such as the Billingual Program, Morning Prayer (TPQ) and student pick-ups, as well as transparency with all stakeholders. Inhibiting factors include financial constraints and parental constraints. Limited funds affect the implementation of innovative programs. whereas parental constraints such as limited time and understanding of the program may affect their participation

Abstract

Islamic religious education in higher education has an important role in forming student character, including developing soft skills needed in the world of work. Management of student soft skills, especially entrepreneurial awareness, is essential in the current era of globalization. This research reflects the important role of soft skills management in developing independent character, as well as entrepreneurial abilities as the main capital in facing social and economic change. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that the management of students' soft skills in the Islamic Religious Education study program is implemented through intracurricular activities contained in the course curriculum and academic culture as well as through extracurricular activities which constitute coaching. This realized application has integrated entrepreneurial awareness as an important competency. However, there are still challenges in implementing entrepreneurial practices in the real world.

Abstract

Kombinatorika merupakan salah satu materi dengan tingkat kompleksitas tinggi dalam Olimpiade Matematika sehingga sering menjadi kendala bagi siswa dalam memahami konsep dasar maupun strategi penyelesaian soal, termasuk pada siswa MAN 1 Pringsewu yang menunjukkan kesulitan dalam membedakan penggunaan faktorial, permutasi, dan kombinasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa melalui pendampingan pembinaan olimpiade dengan metode persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi penyusunan instrumen, materi, serta koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah; tahap pelaksanaan mencakup penyampaian materi secara konseptual dan interaktif, diskusi terarah, serta latihan soal bertahap; sedangkan tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretes dan postes. Kegiatan selama dua hari dengan melibatkan 20 siswa ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan, yaitu kenaikan nilai rata-rata dari 52 menjadi 86 atau meningkat sebesar 65,38% dari nilai awal. Peningkatan tersebut menegaskan efektivitas pendekatan berbasis penguatan konsep dalam membantu siswa memahami struktur logika dan pola penyelesaian soal Kombinatorika. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kompetensi matematis serta kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi olimpiade, dan berpotensi menjadi model pendampingan berkelanjutan di sekolah.

Abstract

The most common disease suffered by people in Indonesia and increasing is hypertension. Prevention of hypertension can be done one of them with self-care management. The achievement of successful hypertension self-care management behavior driven by the family support received by the elderly, the better the self-care management in the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and self-care management in hypertensive elderly in Kutayasa village. The type of research used quantitative research with a non-experimental research design used a cross sectional approach. The population were elderly people suffering from hypertension in Kutayasa Village. The sample amounted to 69 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis used the Spearman-Rank statistical test. The results showed that the p-value was 0.011 or <0.05. It can be concluded that there were a relationship between family support and self-care management in elderly hypertension in Kutayasa Village.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menuntut Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) untuk mengintegrasikan identitas visual dan aksesibilitas berbasis teknologi guna meningkatkan daya saing usaha. Di Desa Sukorejo, Kecamatan Malo, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, sebagian pelaku UMKM belum memiliki logo profesional dan belum terdaftar pada Google Maps, sehingga visibilitas serta legitimasi usaha masih terbatas di ruang digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas branding digital UMKM melalui pembuatan logo representatif dan integrasi lokasi usaha pada Google Maps sebagai strategi penguatan identitas dan perluasan akses pasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas (community-based participatory approach) yang dilaksanakan melalui tahapan survei awal, penyuluhan, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, pendampingan teknis, serta evaluasi. Subjek kegiatan terdiri atas empat UMKM aktif yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif sederhana melalui perbandingan kondisi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kepemilikan identitas visual usaha, terintegrasinya lokasi usaha pada platform digital, serta mulai optimalnya pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi. Selain menghasilkan luaran konkret berupa logo dan visibilitas digital, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan literasi digital dan kepercayaan diri pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pengembangan usaha. Program ini berkontribusi pada penguatan branding lokal dan pemberdayaan ekonomi desa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The Early Childhood Education (PAUD) curriculum plays an important role in shaping young children’s learning experiences. However, in practice, there are still several challenges, such as a lack of meaningful learning and the suboptimal integration of nationalism values. Therefore, curriculum innovation is needed to incorporate approaches that align with children’s characteristics.This study aims to analyze and develop the concept of transforming the PAUD curriculum based on a multisensory music approach as an effort to strengthen nationalism values in early childhood. The method used is a library research approach by reviewing various sources, including scientific journals, books, and relevant previous studies. The data analysis technique is conducted descriptively and qualitatively through processes of organizing, categorizing, and interpreting data.The results of the study indicate that a multisensory music-based approach can enhance children’s engagement, participation, and understanding in learning. The integration of audio, visual, and kinesthetic elements has proven effective in stimulating children’s motor, cognitive, and affective development. In addition, the use of audio-visual media helps children understand nationalism values in a more concrete and meaningful way.In conclusion, transforming the PAUD curriculum through a multisensory music-based approach is an effective strategy to create enjoyable and holistic learning experiences while strengthening the internalization of nationalism values from an early age.
