Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors contributing to child marriage in Rejang Lebong and Kepahiang Regencies, develop a community needs-based curriculum model for the Islamic Family Law (HKI) Study Program, and provide recommendations for curriculum implementation to enhance graduates' competencies as agents of social change. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Informants include heads of Religious Affairs Offices (KUA), community leaders, child marriage couples, and lecturers from the HKI Study Program. The findings reveal that the primary factors driving child marriage include premarital pregnancy, economic pressures, low educational attainment, social norms, and the influence of modern technology. Based on these findings, a curriculum model was developed incorporating new courses such as family law counseling methods, conflict management, and mini-field research to directly address community needs. The curriculum is also designed to integrate modern technology into learning to support 21st-century competencies. The study concludes that developing a community needs-based curriculum has the potential to reduce child marriage rates, increase legal awareness, and empower HKI graduates as solutions to social problems. With cross-sector collaboration and continuous evaluation, this curriculum can serve as an applicable model for other educational institutions.

Abstract

Turmeric (Curcuma domestica Val) contains curcumin, which enhances immunity and aids digestion in livestock. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of turmeric flour supplementation in quail rations on their growth performance. A total of 100 female grower quails (Coturnix-coturnix japonica), aged 3 weeks, were used in a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and five replicates, resulting in 20 experimental units. The treatments included P0 (control, 0% turmeric flour), P1 (0.05% turmeric flour), P2 (0.1% turmeric flour), and P3 (0.15% turmeric flour). The study lasted 14 days, from 21 to 34 days of age. Observed variables included body weight gain, feed intake, and feed conversion ratio (FCR). Results indicated that turmeric flour supplementation at 0.05%–0.15% had no significant effect on quail performance. It is concluded that turmeric flour supplementation up to 0.15% does not enhance quail growth. Further studies are recommended to investigate its effects over a longer period or different growth phases.

Abstract

Bedding type is one of the factors that affect broiler chicken performance. Researchers use this as a basis for testing the differences in the use of rice husk and slat cage bedding on the performance of broiler chickens in closed cages. This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative design to analyze the differences between two independent groups. This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative design to compare two independent groups. Twelve thousand broiler chickens were used, with 6,000 in slat bedding cages and 6,000 in rice husk bedding cages; each group was divided into three replications. In each replication, a sample of 20 chickens was taken. The parameters observed were Feed Intake (FI), Body Weight Gain (BWG), and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). The data obtained were explained using the Independent sample T-Test method. Data were taken in 1 maintenance period in a closed-house cage. Based on the statistical analysis obtained, the FI data was significantly different, namely (Sig. 0.006), the average feed consumption on the slat bedding cage showed higher results compared to rice husk bedding, as well as PBB (Sig. 0.001) and FCR (Sig. 0.034). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that slat bedding in close house cages affects consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion better than rice husk bedding.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of fermenting Moringa leaf flour using Trichoderma koningiopsis AA1 (STk-AA1) with different fermentation durations (0, 4, and 8 days) on the content of crude fiber, Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF), cellulose, and hemicellulose. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used, consisting of three treatments with three replications each. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with a significance level of P<0.05. The results showed that fermentation of Moringa leaf flour with STk-AA1 had a significant effect on increasing the levels of crude fiber, NDF, ADF, cellulose, and hemicellulose. The increase in crude fiber, NDF, and ADF was attributed to the presence of chitin in the fungal cell wall, while the increase in cellulose and hemicellulose content was due to the enzymatic activity produced by STk-AA1, such as cellulase and hemicellulase, during the fermentation process. Based on these findings, further research is recommended to explore different strains of STk-AA1 and the effects of temperature and humidity during fermentation to optimize fiber content and other components.

Abstract

Exegesis of Scientific nowadays has become a lot of discussion, including about the pros and cons around the methodology of interpreting science, the second is about the dichotomic phenomenon between scientific truth and the truth of the Qur'an or secularization in understanding the Qur'an, the above problems can be classified into two part, the first is an internal problem, the second is an external problem. This research is a literature study, a qualitative model with critical-reflective analysis. The results of this study are that the interpretation of science is not the interpretation that negates the interpretation of the previous scholars and changes it to a new one, nor does it desacralize the verses of the Qur'an, but its position is as an addition and expansion of the classical interpretation, with some terms and conditions as commentators with a style science.
