Abstract

This research is crucial to determine the extent to which educators' adaptation of technology and digital literacy in cyberspace has transformed into effective role models and tools for improving the quality of education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between creativity in developing learning content and learning professionalism, and the relationship between social media behavior and learning professionalism. This study employed quantitative research with a correlational survey approach. Through this approach, researchers can objectively describe, measure, and analyze the relationships between variables based on empirical data from elementary school teachers in the Gunungwungkal area of Pati. The population in this study was all elementary school teachers in the Gunungwungkal area. The sample of 31 teachers was selected using simple random sampling. The study involved three main variables: creativity in developing learning content and social media behavior as independent variables, and teacher learning professionalism as dependent variable. Each variable was measured through indicators compiled into a questionnaire instrument using a Likert scale of 1–5. The analysis used SmartPLS to evaluate the structural equation model (SEM-PLS) through two stages: the Outer Model (testing the validity and reliability of the instrument) and the Inner Model (testing the influence between variables). The research results show that creative content development has a positive relationship with learning professionalism, and social media behavior is also related to learning professionalism. Teacher creativity and social media behavior have been empirically proven to have a very strong correlation with improving teacher professional competence.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in science learning, particularly on the topic of the respiratory system. Students still had difficulty analyzing problems, providing appropriate reasons, and connecting concepts with real-life situations. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Project Based Learning model supported by diorama media in improving the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Mejobo on the respiratory system topic. The study employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest–posttest design to measure changes in students’ abilities before and after the treatment. The research subjects consisted of 23 fifth-grade students. The instrument used was a critical thinking skills test administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk test, Paired Sample t-Test, and N-Gain test.The results showed a significant difference between the scores before and after the treatment. The mean pretest score of 38.8696 increased to 75.0000 in the posttest. Based on the results of the Paired Sample t-Test, a significance value of 0.001 (0.001 < 0.005) was obtained, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. These findings indicate that the average critical thinking ability in science learning after the implementation of the Project Based Learning model assisted by diorama media was significantly higher than before the treatment. The improvement in students’ critical thinking ability, indicated by an N-Gain score of 0.5952, was categorized as moderate, showing that the implementation of the model was fairly effective. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran IPAS, khususnya materi sistem pernapasan. Siswa masih kesulitan menganalisis permasalahan, memberikan alasan yang tepat, dan menghubungkan konsep dengan situasi nyata. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model Project Based Learning yang didukung media diorama dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 1 Mejobo pada materi sistem pernapasan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan rancangan one-group pretest–posttest untuk mengukur perubahan kemampuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 23 siswa kelas V. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Shapiro–Wilk test, Paired Sample t-Test, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 38,8696 meningkat menjadi 75,0000 pada posttest. Berdasarkan hasil uji Paired Sample t-Test, diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 (0,001 < 0,005), sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis IPAS siswa setelah diterapkan model Project Based Learning berbantuan media diorama lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum perlakuan. Nilai peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis IPAS sebesar 0,5952 berada pada kategori sedang dan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model tersebut cukup efektif.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas bahan ajar digital dalam mendukung pembelajaran deep learning di SD 1 Barongan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi tepat guna E-Modul LENTERA (Literasi dan Numerasi Terpadu dalam Era Digital). Metode pengabdian melibatkan pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan kegiatan yang mencakup: (1) Persiapan yang melibatkan analisis kebutuhan guru, (2) Pelaksanaan yang melibatkan pengembangan E-Modul LENTERA serta pelatihan dan pendampingan implementasinya di kelas, dan (3) Evaluasi terhadap seluruh kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa tersedianya E-Modul LENTERA dan peningkatan signifikan pada kualitas bahan ajar yang mengintegrasikan literasi dan numerasi melalui teknologi digital. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini telah berkontribusi dalam mendorong inovasi bahan ajar berbasis teknologi digital yang berkualitas dan dapat mendukung pembelajaran deep learning. Kata Kunci: Deep Learning, E-Modul, Literasi Numerasi, Local Wisdom Abstract This study is a community service program aimed at teachers at SD 1 Barongan. The program aims to improve the quality of digital teaching materials to support deep learning at SD 1 Barongan through the use of appropriate technology, specifically the LENTERA E-Module (Integrated Literacy and Numeracy in the Digital Era). The community service approach involves training and mentoring, with activities including: (1) Preparation, which involves analyzing teachers’ needs; (2) Implementation, which involves developing the LENTERA E-Module as well as providing training and mentoring on its implementation in the classroom; and (3) Evaluation, which involves assessing all activities that have been carried out. The results of this community service activity include the availability of the LENTERA E-Module and a significant improvement in the quality of teaching materials that integrate literacy and numeracy using digital technology. Thus, this activity has contributed to promoting high-quality, digital technology-based teaching material innovation that supports deep learning. Abstract

The low critical-thinking ability of elementary school students and the limitations of teaching materials in visualizing the concept of photosynthesis pose challenges to learning science. This study aims to analyze the development needs, determine the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of DELBARA (Deep Learning Based on Augmented Reality) teaching materials on photosynthetic materials to improve the critical thinking skills of Grade IV elementary school students in Jepara Regency. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and using the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) test. The results of the study show that teachers need interactive, innovative teaching materials that can visualize abstract concepts. DELBARA's teaching materials are deemed feasible following validation by material and media experts, who assessed the content, presentation, language, graphics, and Augmented Reality integration. The product implementation showed an increase in critical thinking skills, with a pretest average of 71.22 rising to 86.00 on the posttest and an N-Gain of 0.513, placing it in the medium category.

Abstract

Accelerating the quality of primary education in the Merdeka Belajar era demands an adaptive reorientation of school management. However, principals' tendency to implement a uniform leadership model often overlooks teachers' diverse characteristics. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principal's contingency leadership in improving school quality, describe adjustments to leadership style based on teacher readiness, and identify the factors that support and inhibit it. Using a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic phenomenological design, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation in three public elementary schools in Cluwak, Pati. The findings reveal a dualism of reality between adaptive-situational patterns and formalistic standardization. Effective leadership style adjustments (shifting from selling to participating and delegating) successfully transform school quality into a substantive level, fostering instructional innovation and improving Education Report Cards. Conversely, rigid governance only fosters a compliance culture that reduces quality to mere paperwork. In conclusion, the acceleration of school quality is determined in large part by leadership style flexibility. Principals are suggested to develop periodic teacher readiness portfolios to provide proportional supervision and autonomy.
