Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan membandingkan karakteristik pendidikan Islam masa klasik dan modern secara komprehensif. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis isi dan analisis komparatif terhadap sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam klasik unggul dalam integrasi holistik keilmuan, orientasi pembentukan insan kamil, serta metode pembelajaran yang mendorong tradisi berpikir kritis melalui munadzarah dan rihlah ilmiyyah. Sementara itu, pendidikan Islam modern ditandai oleh semangat reformasi sebagai respons terhadap kolonialisme dan modernitas, dengan mengintegrasikan ilmu agama dan ilmu umum secara lebih sistematis dan terstruktur. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kedua periode tersebut bersifat saling melengkapi: nilai-nilai unggul pendidikan klasik perlu menjadi referensi utama, sedangkan capaian pembaruan pendidikan modern perlu terus dikembangkan secara kontekstual. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya sintesis antara warisan intelektual klasik dan tuntutan pendidikan Islam kontemporer demi terwujudnya generasi Muslim yang beriman, cerdas, dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the influence of the habit of congregational prayer on self-control from reprehensible morals in students of Mahyajatul Qurra Takalar Senior High School. This study aims to: (1) describe the habit of congregational prayer in students of Mahyajatul Qurra Takalar Senior High School; (2) describe self-control from reprehensible morals in students of Mahyajatul Qurra Takalar Senior High School; and (3) analyze the influence of the habit of congregational prayer on self-control from reprehensible morals in students of Mahyajatul Qurra Takalar Senior High School. This type of research is quantitative research with an ex post facto approach. This research was conducted at Mahyajatul Qurra Takalar Senior High School. The population of this study were 36 students in grades X-XII, and the sample was taken using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and simple regression analysis. The implications of this research demonstrate the importance of cultivating the habit of congregational prayer as an effort to develop and improve students' self-control against reprehensible morals. Schools are expected to create and maintain a religious environment that supports the consistent and purposeful implementation of congregational prayer.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of the professional competence of Aqidah Akhlak teachers on students’ learning motivation at MI Manggarupi Gowa. The study used a quantitative ex post facto method with a simple paradigm design. The population consisted of 66 fifth-grade students from classes VA and VB. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with SPSS. The results showed that the professional competence of Aqidah Akhlak teachers was in the moderate category (72.73%), while students’ learning motivation was also moderate (78.78%). Hypothesis testing revealed that teachers’ professional competence had a positive and significant influence on students’ learning motivation, with a contribution of 47.6%, while 52.4% was influenced by other factors. In conclusion, the professional competence of Aqidah Akhlak teachers plays an important role in improving students’ learning motivation and supporting better learning outcomes.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the influence of the index card match learning model on the learning motivation of sixth grade students at Pannara Public Elementary School, Makassar City. This study aims to: (1) describe the index card match learning model of sixth grade students at Pannara Public Elementary School, Makassar City; (2) describe the learning motivation of sixth grade students at Pannara Public Elementary School, Makassar City; and (3) analyze the influence of the index card match learning model on the learning motivation of sixth grade students at Pannara Public Elementary School, Makassar City. This type of research is quantitative research with an ex post facto approach. This research was conducted at Pannara Public Elementary School, Makassar City. The population of this study was 65 sixth grade students, and the sample was taken using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and simple regression analysis. The implications of this study indicate that the Index Card Match learning model can be used as an alternative learning strategy to increase students' learning motivation through an active, interactive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Therefore, schools and educators are expected to support and implement innovative learning models to create a more effective and meaningful learning process.
