Abstract

Augmented Reality or AR is a technology that achieves real-time integration of digital computer-generated content with the real world. This media is suitable for use in learning because it can display a concrete form of a phenomenon that will make the learning process that was originally boring become more interesting. But unfortunately, not all teachers can make applications. Therefore, in this community service, training and assistance in making augmented reality applications is provided for elementary school teachers in the village of Packagingtani - Mojokerto. From the results of this community service, it was shown that many participants felt that this training was very helpful for them to be more familiar with how to make augmented reality-based applications (84%). Abstrak Augmented Reality atau AR adalah teknologi yang memperoleh penggabungan secara real-time terhadap digital konten yang dibuat oleh komputer dengan dunia nyata. Media ini cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena dapat menampilkan bentuk konkret dari sebuah fenomena akan membuat proses pembelajaran yang semula membosankan menjadi lebih menarik. Namun sayangnya, tidak semua guru dapat membuat aplikasi. Oleh sebab itu, dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan aplikasi augmented reality pada guru-guru sekolah dasar di Desa Kemasantani – Mojokerto. Dari hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditunjukkan bahwa banyak peserta yang merasa pelatihan ini sangat membantu mereka untuk lebih mengenal cara pembuatan aplikasi berbasis augmented reality (84%).

Abstract

The digitalization of education is a logical consequence of changing times. No one could have predicted that technology would be adopted so quickly by industry and society. The Covid-19 pandemic has cause students, teachers and schools to carry out teaching and learning activities by relying on digital technology. The use of e-book is becoming a trend because it is more environmentally friendly and more economical. The purpose of this research is to develop a 4C-oriented Mathematics Digital Creative (Magic) Book for elementary school students to determine the development process, feasibility, and effectiveness of its use. The results of the research show that the users gave a positive rating for the MAGIC Book. The use of digital modules provides benefits in learning, especially in online learning.

Abstract

The comprehension concept of number and geometric shape in early childhood is needed to develop children's interest to mathematic. Introducing the concept of number and geometry in early childhood is first step of learning mathematic so the learning process is more fun and children do not scared of mathematic. To motivate children's favorite level to mathematic, the devotion team of Study Program Mathematic Education at PGRI ADI BUANA Surabaya do assistance activities to PAUD mother in Gondang, Mojokerto with the aim to introducing mathematical concept in early childhood through song. The song was chosen by devotion team as an alternative learning media because it was based on the result discussion with PAUD mother community when the team survey state that through song it was able to give pleasure to children. This activity consist of 10 devotion teams that consist of 5 lecturers and 5 students with 28 PAUD mothers in Gondong, Mojokerto. The result achieved from this dedication activity are able to contribute to PAUD mother in creating poetry and song lyric related to mathematical concept. The program sustainability plan is to register the copyright of the song by PAUD mother as intelectual property.

Abstract

This article describes an overview of the fourth grade students' thinking ability. Creative thinking is a skill needed to solve various problems that continue to grow and change. Creative thinking skills are needed to deal with various problems in the future. Creativity is the ability to bring up new ideas or ideas to existing or never existing inventions to solve a problem. Based on the results of this literature review, it was found that creative thinking skills need to be given to students from an early age. Mathematics learning should include activities that foster creative. Creative thinking skills can be identified in high, medium, and low categories in order to develop students' creative thinking skills through several learning activities. To find out these categories, further research can be carried out.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keprihatinan terhadap perkembangan lagu anak di tingkat usia dini yang berkembang tidak seiring dengan perkembangan lingkungan sosial anak. Kondisi yang demikian memacu tim dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya untuk melaksanakan program pengabdian kepada masayarakat melalui bimbingan dan pelatihan dalam mencipta lagu anak yang bertemakan pengenalan konsep matematika dasar kepada anak usia dini. Melalui kegiatan bimbingan dan pelatihan ini, diharapkan Bunda PAUD mampu memiliki pengetahuan matematika yang lebih baik, sehingga keterampilan dalam mencipta  lagu anak yang berkaitan dengan konsep matematika dapat tercipta dengan baik dan memberikan penyegaran kepada Bunda PAUD terkait pandangan dan pengetahuan Bunda PAUD terkait konsep matematika melalui lagu anak. Lagu yang diciptakan ini dapat digunakan sebagai media alternatif dalam mendampingi anak usia dini belajar matematika selama di kelompok bermain atau belajarnya. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Bunda PAUD di wilayah Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Mojokerto. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata dari kelompok Bunda PAUD di wilayah Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Mojokerto berupa cipta syair dan lirik lagu yang bertemakan  pengenalan konsep matematika yang akan didaftarkan sebagai hak kekayaan intelektual dari kelompok Bunda PAUD Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Mojokerto.

Abstract

The diversity of student characteristics is one factor in the difference in errors in solving transformation geometry problems. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the types of errors in solving geometric transformation problems made by prospective mathematics students based on their learning styles. The errors investigated were based on the criteria of the Kastolan procedure which consisted of conceptual errors, procedural errors and technical errors. The research method used is a qualitative method. The subjects used in the study consisted of three students with the most errors for each category of learning style. The data collection technique was performed using test and interview instruments. The results of the study showed that there were two types of errors made by student teachers with visual learning styles, namely conceptual errors and procedural errors. Prospective teachers with auditory learning styles have three types of errors, namely conceptual errors, procedural errors, and technical errors. Prospective student teachers with kinesthetic learning styles have two types of errors, namely conceptual errors and procedural errors. Based on the research results, it is recommended that additional research be conducted to identify the factors behind the similarity of the types of errors made by candidate student teachers with visual learning styles and styles. kinesthetic learning.

Abstract

Program pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menambah dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam membuat konten media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dan dapat mengembangkan secara interaktif. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini guru di SMP PGRI 1 Buduran Sidoarjo dapat menggunakan media Quizizz sebagai alternatif media interaktif yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran baik secara daring maupun luring terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan secara luring oleh tim dosen pengabdian program studi Pendidikan matematika Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. Sasaran kegiatan adalah seluruh guru yang terbagi dalam berbagai pengampu mata pelajaran. Kegiatan ini mendapat dukungan secara penuh dari kepala sekolah dan seluruh guru sehingga dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar mulai dari observasi kegiatan hingga akhir pelaksanaan kegiatan.

Abstract

The Covid-19 epidemic has triggered technological upheavals that are occurring rapidly in all areas of life, including the world of education. Technology is an alternative that can be used extensively by teachers in the teaching and learning process. The limited knowledge of technology of teachers in schools is a serious problem and a solution must be provided immediately in order to create an interesting, effective and innovative learning atmosphere so that the pupils can still fully understand the material even if it is done. virtually. The Mathematics Education Curriculum is conducting a Community Service Program (PPM) with SMKN target partner 1 Jetis Mojokerto. The majority of teachers in the school have limited knowledge of Distance Learning Management (PJJ) based on the Learning Management System (LMS) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The learning process emphasizes the use of Whatsapp media and only a small number of teachers use LMS with very simple content presentation. Thus, the PPM program is carried out with the aim of helping teachers to manage distance learning (PJJ) based on the learning management system (LMS) of Google Classroom. The PPM program has three stages, namely the planning stage, the socialization stage and the implementation stage. Teachers are very enthusiastic in the online workshop activities and show positive results after participating in activities based on the results of filling in online questionnaires, the majority of whom think the material presented is very useful and the activities offline workshops can be conducted continuously.

Abstract

Professional development of teachers should be developed through skills in research and writing scientific articles. The majority of teachers have difficulty writing research results that meet standards. Thus, this service activity was carried out with the aim of strengthening the teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Jetis Mojokerto in writing reports on the results of the research that had been carried out. The service is implemented in three stages, namely: (1) the planning phase; (2) training stage; (3) assessment of the sustainability of the program. Based on the community service activities carried out, he managed to open the horizons of the teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Jetis Mojokerto, especially with regard to the writing of research reports. According to the results of the program evaluation, the majority of teachers up to 100% were very satisfied with the workshop activities carried out. These activities provide an overview of the procedures and procedures for writing good and correct research reports. Thus, the participants were very enthusiastic to participate in the activities presented during the workshop on research report writing. Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of overcoming the lack of understanding of student’s material to improve student learning outcomes, namely question and answer multi direction method. This learning method, students are expected to be more active, creative, and able to develop concepts to solve mathematical problems appropriately. The aim is to determine the effect of question and answer multi-direction on mathematic learning outcome in pythagorasin 8th class students of SMP N 19 Surabaya. The design used is a post-tes-only control group. The population in this research were all 8th students at SMP N 19 Surabaya. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, the samples obtained are class VIII-E and class VIII-F. The data collection technique used is the test method. The data analysis technique used normality lest, homogenity, and t-test. Based on analysis of the data obtained that the sample is normally distributed and homogenous. Bu analyzing the data using the t-test, it was obtained that with a significant level of 0,05 and . This shows that is greater than . Then it was concluded that there was an effect of question and answer multi-direction on mathematic learning outcome in pythagoras in 8th class students of SMP N 19 Surabaya.
