Abstract

Cleaner Production (CP) practices comprised environmental strategy perpetually applied in the production, processes, and services to bolster efficiency, safety, and environmental friendliness. Some factors are to be considered to achieve a cleaner production strategy: stakeholders establishment, surveys, utilization, and impact, as well as how the top management devote their practices towards cleaner production. Combining with the mindset of sustainable stocks and resources, this exercise of cleaner production provides advantages of minimum toxic wastes and residues. In this study, we prioritize this practice to be applied in the aluminum industry, of which cleaner production action has not yet been employed. Small and medium businesses now no longer have enough monetary assets to put money into cleaner production practices because they require high-cost investment. This study aimed to determine the factors that have an impact on the application of cleaner production. The method used is regression analysis. The regression analysis results showed that three variables were tested to be significant and had a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value of 3.05 which means good. Three variables that affected the implementation of cleaner production include measurement of fuel usage, efforts to improve production process efficiency, and waste reuse by product. From the calculation results, the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.550 (the influence was quite strong). The results of this study can be used as a recommendation for the government to increase the implementation cleaner production in Jombang Regency.

Abstract

Placing a government capital in the wrong location does more than cause administrative headaches. It actively breaks the local economy. This study investigates the severe spatial mismatch in Mojokerto Regency, where its government center operates as an enclave entirely within Mojokerto City. We analyzed 2018–2023 GRDP data using Location Quotient (LQ), Shift-Share Analysis (SSA), and Keynesian Multiplier models. Our findings reveal a striking irony. The Regency’s bureaucracy actually functions as a basic sector for the neighboring City while remaining non-basic for its own territory. The SSA results prove this damage. Local tertiary sectors suffer heavy competitive losses because they miss out on the daily spending of civil servants. This enclave setup triggers massive economic leakage. Money drains out through direct office procurement and indirect daily consumption, creating a textbook backwash effect. Beyond lost revenue, this mismatch forces unsustainable daily commutes that heavily spike the region's carbon footprint. We conclude that relocating the government hub into the Regency’s actual borders is an urgent economic necessity, not just a political option. Until this physical relocation happens, local planners must consider cross-border revenue-sharing to stop the immediate financial bleeding.

Abstract

Digitalization has accelerated ride-hailing growth by offering urban commuters convenience and flexibility. In Indonesia, rising usage has intensified competition among platforms such as Grab and its rivals. Despite its extensive reach, Grab continues to face negative perceptions concerning pricing, inconsistent service, and suboptimal user experiences, which erode customer satisfaction and loyalty. Malang City was selected for its high mobility and rapidly growing user base. As a mid-size city with moderate density and growing transport demand, Malang is suitable for studying ride-hailing beyond megacities. This study integrates SERVQUAL and the Kano Model to identify, classify, and prioritize service attributes influencing GrabBike user satisfaction. A purposive sample of 385 respondents completed an online survey (Google Forms) between December 2025 and January 2026. The overall quality ratio (Q) was 0.85, and Tangibles was the lowest performing dimension. RL4 (fare suitability) recorded the largest gap (-1.65), a critical priority. Kano classification yielded 7 Must-Be, 3 One-Dimensional, 3 Attractive, 1 Indifferent, and 1 Reverse attributes. This integrated approach constitutes a novel, data-driven framework for prioritizing service enhancements. The findings provide guidance to remedy dissatisfiers and invest in delight-enhancing attributes, while establishing local quality benchmarks for policymakers.
