Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in shaping the character and morality of students, so it is important to use a ta'dib-based learning approach, namely an approach that integrates religious values with academic learning, which has been recognized as an effective approach. However, to achieve the optimization of ta'dib-based PAI learning, it is important to pay attention to the perspective of Islamic educational psychology. This study aims to identify and analyze efforts to optimize ta'dib-based PAI learning from the perspective of Islamic educational psychology at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through class observations, interviews with PAI teachers, and analysis of documents related to the PAI learning program at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School. The results showed that the optimization of ta'dib-based PAI learning at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School involved several strategies. First, the use of learning methods that emphasize the formation of noble character and Islamic ethics in students' daily activities. Second, the use of learning media that is relevant to Islamic values increases students' interest in and understanding of PAI material. Third, fostering effective communication between teachers and students, as well as cultivating mutual respect in the learning process. Meanwhile, the perspective of Islamic educational psychology can make a positive contribution to the development of student character because this approach can influence students' attitudes, values, and behaviour in accordance with religious teachings so that the psychology of Islamic education provides an understanding of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students that need to be considered in the learning process.

Abstract

School violence, including bullying, is one of the severe problems faced by educational institutions in Indonesia.  Bullied students are more likely to suffer anxiety, unhappiness, and uncomfortable feelings. As a result, they are unable to perform well in their school activities which affect their learning outcome. This study aims to find suitable types and models of psychological intervention to solve the school violence problem. Specifically, this psychological intervention is expected to help create a child-friendly school in Indonesia at the senior high school level. this study applies the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by operating the academic search engine, namely “Google Scholar” and “Research Gate.”  The result shows there are 22 articles on psychological intervention. Regarding types, two types of psychological intervention can be applied to creating a child-friendly school at the senior high school level in Indonesia: social intervention and group counseling intervention using the Tazkitatun-nafsi self-management technique. Besides there are four models of intervention approaches, namely psychoeducational model intervention; b) intervention with a behavioral model; c) intervention with a neuropsychological model; and d) intervention with the cognitive model.

Abstract

The results of the teacher's daily research show that children from broken home families often make noise during class hours, this is because the child seeks attention to others. This then prompted the author to conduct a study that focused on broken home children with the aim of conducting a case study which then examined more deeply the impact of broken home families on the moral and psychic development of grade VI elementary school students at SD N 1 Sribitan. By using quality research with a case study approach. Participants in this study the author chose based on backgrounds and behaviors that stood out while in school using purposive samples so that two students were found who stood out from five students who had the same background, namely class VI SDN 1 Sribitan, namely A.C.P and .P.D.A. The results obtained from this study are an illustration that the influence or impact of broken home families is very real in terms of children's moral and psychic development. In this study, it can be explained that the bad moral problems that participants often do are not wanting to apologize if they are wrong, making noise, and not obeying the rules that have been applied in schools.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract The character of a child is closely related to the upbringing he receives from his caregiver; in other words, good parenting will also have a positive impact on the child, and the character possessed by a child is a reflection of the parenting style provided by the caregiver. In order to avoid deviations in the child's character, several good parenting methods are needed in the formation of the child's religious character. This study aims to analyze the parenting style applied by the Yogyakarta Islamic Boys' Orphanage in shaping the religious character of the orphanage's children. This study uses descriptive qualitative research, which provides an overview or description of empirical facts from observations and interviews and is supported by documentation about the methods used by the Yogyakarta Boys' Orphanage in shaping the religious character of children in orphanages. The results of this study indicate that Islamic orphanages use a variety of parenting methods, such as the da'wah method of instilling knowledge, the compassion method, the exemplary method, the advice method, the habituation method, and other methods in the form of worship, education, social interaction, and muamalah. Of course, when using this method, one must always adhere to Islamic parenting principles, such as "Amar ma'ruf nahi munkar."

Abstract

This qualitative field study investigated cognitive development among third-grade Madrasah Tsanawiyah students at Rumah Sajada Orphanage and Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta. Over five weeks the researcher observed seven pupils two selected purposively for detailed analysis during a one-hour formal lesson each week. Unstructured field notes were thematically analysed using Piaget’s Formal Operational Stage and the Islamic educational constructs of tadabbur, faqiha, and tadhakkur. Findings reveal a spectrum of formal-operational maturity: several students exhibited consistent abstract, deductive, and hypothetico-deductive reasoning, whereas others remained in transition. Routine tadabbur acted as a catalyst for executive-function growth, while adolescent egocentrism, manifested as an “imaginary audience,” occasionally constrained classroom discourse. Supportive teacher feedback and verse-based collaborative tasks reduced these barriers and promoted deeper reasoning. The study demonstrates that an integrated spiritual-academic environment can accelerate attainment of formal-operational competencies and enrich reflective language ability, providing empirically grounded recommendations for curriculum design in faith-based schools and similar educational contexts.
