Abstract

Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Negeri Gorontalo berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh melalui tracer study. Secara khusus, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang lulusan, yang meliputi (1) rata-rata masa tunggu lulusan, (2) jenis pekerjaan yang ditekuni, dan (3) tanggapan terhadap pengguna lulusan.Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah: (1) berapa rata-rata masa tunggu lulusan?, (2) jenis pekerjaan apa yang ditekuni lulusan?, dan (3) bagaimana tanggapan pengguna terhadap lulusan?. Anggota populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 408 orang, dari jumlah tersebut 58% (238 orang) dijadikan sebagai anggota sampel dengan menggunakan cluster sampling. Indikator penelitian meliputi: (1) rata-rata masa tunggu lulusan, (2) jenis pekerjaan yang ditekuni lulusan, dan (3) tanggapan pengguna terhadap lulusan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tracer study. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) rata-rata masa tunggu lulusan adalah 3 bulan; (2) jenis pekerjaan yang ditekuni lulusan terdiri dari 13 kategori yakni (a) Guru BK (PNS) sebanyak 27.31%; (b) Guru BK (Non PNS) sebanyak 50.00%; (c) Guru PAUD sebanyak 0.84%; (d) Guru TK sebanyak 5.04%; (e) Guru SD sebanyak 4.20%; (f) Guru SLB sebanyak 0.42%; (g) Pegawai instansi pemerintah sebanyak 2.52%; (h) Pegawai perusahaan sebanyak 0.84%; (i) Dosen sebanyak 1.26%; (j) Dosen luar biasa sebanyak 1.26%; (k) Wirausaha sebanyak 3.78%; (l) Anggota DPR sebanyak 0.42%; (m) dan lain-lain sebanyak 2.10%; dan (3) tanggapan pengguna terhadap lulusan, yang menyangkut: (a)  integritas (etika dan moral) = 89.60 (sangat baik); (b) keahlian berdasarkan bidang ilmu (profesionalisme) = 82.92 (baik); (c) bahasa Inggris = 67.89 (cukup); (d) penggunaan teknologi informasi = 81.71 (baik); (e) komunikasi = 84.06 (baik); (f) kerjasama tim = 85.04 (sangat baik); dan (g) pengembangan diri = 83.83 (baik).      AbstractThis research is expected to improve and improve the quality of the management of Study Program Guidance and Counseling of State University of Gorontalo based on information obtained through tracer study. Specifically, this study was undertaken to obtain information about graduates, which included (1) the average waiting period for the graduates, (2) the type of work being undertaken, and (3) responses to graduate users.The problems of this research are: (1) what is the average waiting period of graduates ?, (2) what kind of work is graduated ?, and (3) how is the user's response to the graduates ?. The population members in this study amounted to 408 people, of which 58% (238) were used as sample members using cluster sampling. Research indicators include: (1) average waiting period for graduates, (2) types of work occupied by graduates, and (3) user responses to graduates. Data collection was done by using tracer study instrument. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively.The results showed: (1) the average waiting period of the graduates was 3 months; (2) the type of work occupied by graduates consists of 13 categories, namely (a) Teacher BK (PNS) as much as 27.31%; (B) Teacher BK (Non PNS) as much as 50.00%; (C) PAUD teachers as much as 0.84%; (D) Kindergarten teachers as much as 5.04%; (E) elementary school teachers as much as 4.20%; (F) SLB Teachers as much as 0.42%; (G) Employees of government agencies as much as 2.52%; (H) Company employees 0.84%; (I) Lecturer as much as 1.26%; (J) Unusual lecturer as much as 1.26%; (K) Entrepreneur as much as 3.78%; (L) Members of the People's Legislative Assembly of 0.42%; (M) and others as much as 2.10%; And (3) user responses to graduates, which include: (a) integrity (ethics and morals) = 89.60 (excellent); (B) expertise by field of science (professionalism) = 82.92 (good); (C) English = 67.89 (enough); (D) use of information technology = 81.71 (good); (E) communication = 84.06 (good); (F) teamwork = 85.04 (excellent); And (g) self-development = 83.83 (good).

Abstract

Local language is one of the characteristics as well as a cultural richness of an area that needs to be preserved existence. In Gorontalo, some teenagers are not confident in their local languages, and children who are unable to communicate with Gorontalo language even in very simple contexts, especially people in urban areas. Learning local languages of Gorontalo at the level of Early Childhood Education is considered to be one solution, considering the early age is a potential moment to develop various potentials, including the potential for language. Conditions encountered in early childhood education institutions show that learning / language activities in Gorontalo are not structured, resulting in the development of Gorontalo language ability in children is very low. For that reason, learning language of Gorontalo in early childhood needs to be organized in a systematic and structured based on clear guidelines. These guidelines include: (a) learning programs that are appropriate to the characteristics of early childhood development, (b) learning materials appropriate to the characteristics of early childhood development, and (c) evaluation guidelines that can clearly measure the development of local language skills in children aged early.

Abstract

Sasaran program pengabdian KKN Tematik Desa Bersinar ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan dan komitmen generasi muda dalam mencegah pengaruh penggunaan narkoba dalam rangka mewujudkan Desa Ilangata kabupaten Gorontalo Utara sebagai Desa Bersinar. Program ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan kemampuan dan komitmen generasi muda dalam menghindari penyalahgunaan narkoba, (2) menyiapkan kelompok Konselor Sebaya sebagai pelopor pencegahan penggunaan narkoba di kalangan generasi muda, (3) memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa peserta KKN Tematik Desa Bersinar dalam menemukan solusi terhadap masalah penyalahgunaan penggunaan narkoba. Target yang hendak dicapai melalui kegiatan ini adalah: (1) terlaksananya kegiatan pelatihan Konselor Sebaya untuk mencegah penggunaan narkoba di kalangan generasi muda, (2) terbentuknya kelompok-kelompok Konselor Sebaya yang berperan dalam mencegah penggunaan narkoba di kalangan generasi muda, (3) meningkatnya kemampuan dan komitmen generasi muda dalam menghindarkan diri dari penggunaan narkoba. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa: (1) meningkatnya kemampuan dan komitmen generasi muda dalam menghindari penyalahgunaan narkoba, (2) telah terbentuk kelompok Konselor Sebaya sebagai pelopor pencegahan penggunaan narkoba di kalangan generasi muda dalam rangka mewujudkan Desa Ilangata kabupaten Gorontalo Utara sebagai Desa Bersinar.

Abstract

The limited learning media also affects the efforts of teachers to develop student creativity. On the basis of this condition, it is deemed necessary to develop a creativity development video that can be used by teachers, so that education as an effort to develop student potential optimally can achieve the expected results. In addition to being a medium used by the teacher, the video is meant to be used by students independently. This study aims to produce videos as a medium of guidance and counseling for the development of creativity of junior high school students. This study uses development research based on the stages of research by Sugiono. This study uses a quisioner as a data collection technique. Research activities include: (1) identifying problems in the field related to creativity development activities carried out by junior high school teachers, (2) analyzing the substance of the activity, (4) developing the initial video design, (5) developing expert validation instruments on the initial video design that has been developed , (6) carry out expert validation and revisions, (7) carry out small group trials and revise the final product. This research and development has produced a creativity development video that has gone through expert validation and small group trials, in the sense that it is suitable for use by teachers as a medium in developing the creativity of junior high school students.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kurang tepatnya siswa sekolah menengah atas dalam menetapkan studi lanjutan di perguruan tinggi. Di sisi lain, diperoleh data bahwa media layanan bimbingan dan konseling karir yang dapat digunakan oleh guru masih sangat terbatas. Rumusan masalah adalah bagaimana aplikasi identifikasi karir berbasis android berdasarkan teori Holland sebagai media bimbingan dan konseling karir bagi siswa sekolah menengah atas? Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan aplikasi identifikasi karir berbasis android berdasarkan teori Holland sebagai media bimbingan dan konseling karir bagi siswa sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini merupakan Research & Development (R&D). Subyek penelitian terdiri dari 3 orang ahli untuk validasi ahli, yakni ahli bidang studi bimbingan dan konseling, ahli desain media, dan ahli program, serta 9 orang siswa sekolah menengah atas untuk uji kelompok kecil. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan produk berupa aplikasi berbasis android sebagai media layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk membantu siswa dalam mengidentifikasi karir. Hasil validasi dan ujicoba kelompok kecil menyimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini telah layak digunakan sebagai media bimbingan dan konseling karir dalam membantu siswa mengidentifikasi karir. Aplikasi tersebut diberi nama “Jurusan Apa”.

Abstract

As a reality, the vast majority of students, in particular, those at elementary school have yet to have awareness of the importance of nature preservation. This constitutes an indication of low naturalist intelligence of elementary school students. As an effort to cope with the problem, it requires solution, namely written technique group guidance. The problem of this research is whether or not written technique group guidance has an influence towards naturalist intelligence of elementary school students. The research uses a pre-experiment method with one group pretest and posttest design. The research samples are 15 people. The data collection uses questionnaire as the main technique. The data are analyzed by using t-test. Based on the research finding, it concludes that there is an influence of written technique group guidance towards naturalist intelligence of students at grade V of SDN No. 85 Kota Tengah of Gorontalo City. This conclusion is obtained from result of data analysis, which indicating value of tcount = -20,598, and at significance level of 0,05 (14), it obtains ttable = 2,98, which meant the tcount has been outside of acceptance area of H0. This means that the hypothesis which says, “there is influence of written technique group guidance towards naturalist intelligence of students at grade V of SDN 85 Kota Tengah of Gorontalo City, can be accepted. In other words, the written technique group guidance can increase the naturalist intelligence of students at grade V of SDN No.85 Kota Tengah of Gorontalo City. Based on the research finding, it is suggested that the guidance and counseling teachers should apply written technique group guidance as an effort to improve the naturalist intelligence of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a guide to improve teacher competency in guidance and counseling in developing social intelligence of seventh grade junior high school students, which consists of: (1) service syllabus and plan for implementing guidance and counseling services, (2) teacher guidance, (3) material services, and (4) evaluation guidelines. The procedure for developing a 5-step guide is: (1) analyzing the product to be developed, (2) developing the initial product, (3) expert validation and revision, (4) small-scale field testing and product revision, and (5) trial large scale field and final product. Based on the results of expert validation data analysis, small group test data and large group tests, as well as product revisions based on the results of data analysis that has been obtained, guidance and counseling service guides can be produced that have criteria for developing social intelligence of seventh grade junior high school students. This guide consists of (1) service syllabus and plan for implementing guidance and counseling services, (2) teacher guidance, (3) service material, and (4) evaluation guidelines. It is expected that the guidance and counseling teachers can use this guide in carrying out guidance and counseling services for the development of students' social intelligence, especially seventh grade junior high school students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sasaran program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu peningkatan kompetensi produktif-inovatif di era new normal pada siswa SMA di daerah pesisir Teluk Tomini. Tujuan pengabdian untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa SMA dalam memanfaatkan pengolahan limbah jagung sebagai karya produktif-inovatif bernilai ekonomis, mampu menciptakan lapangan kerja menjadi sumber penghidupan masyarakat dan untuk mencegah terjadinya pengangguran. Metode pelaksanaan dengan bentuk pelatihan, dengan langkah-langah: (a) persiapan; (b) pelaksanaan; dan (c) evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian yang telah dicapai yaitu siswa memiliki pemahaman bahwa limbah jagung dapat digunakan sebagai bahan karya produktif-inovatif bernilai ekonomis, siswa menunjukkan keterampilan dapat mengolah limbah jagung, dan juga melalui pengabdian terbentuknya kelompok siswa sebagai pengrajin agar tetap berkarya sesuai pemahaman dan keterampilan yang didapatkan saat pelatihan. Abstract: The target of the community service program is to increase productive-innovative competence in the new normal era for high school students in the coastal area of Tomini Bay. The purpose of the service is to improve the understanding competence and skills of high school students in utilizing corn waste processing as productive-innovative work with economic value, being able to create jobs as a source of community livelihood and to prevent unemployment. The implementation method is in the form of training, with the following steps: (a) preparation; (b) implementation; and (c) evaluation. The results of the service that have been achieved are that students have an understanding that corn waste can be used as a productive-innovative work material with economic value, students demonstrate skills in processing corn waste, and also through the service of forming groups of students as craftsmen so that they continue to work according to the understanding and skills obtained when training. Abstract

Ibu-ibu rumah tangga memiliki berbagai potensi yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi sebuah keterampilan. Pelatihan bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga desa Ilangata kecamatan Anggrek kabupaten Gorontalo Utara ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ibu-ibu rumah tangga desa Ilangata dalam mengolah perca kain menjadi produk-produk kreatif yang memiliki nilai jual sehingga dapat menjadi salah satu sumber pendapatan keluarga. Pelatihan menggunakan metode demostrasi dan metode praktek/latihan. Hasil yang dicapai melalui kegiatan ini adalah peserta pelatihan telah mampu membuat rangkaian buket bunga dari kain perca dengan berbagai model. Produk ini tentu saja memiliki nilai jual yang bermanfaat dalam menunjang pemenuhan kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga.
