Abstract

The research activity was carried out by involving one PPDK partner, namely the Klaten Disability Association. This study aims to examine the process of designing product photography for the disabled community in Klaten. Every form of work produced from photography has no other purpose and concept of creation that begins with a basic idea that develops into a practical implementation with the support of equipment and techniques of expression through visual language. Furthermore, through experiments and explorations of the target (exposure) and the process of its presence until it becomes the subject matter of the photographic work. The problem faced by the partner is not having knowledge about product photography so that there are no product photos that can be displayed on social media or print media, amidst the tight competition of MSMEs. To overcome this problem, research is needed on partners through the use of product photography with smartphones as an effort to improve the quality of promotion. The purpose of this study is to examine the improvement of partners' abilities in improving product photography design. The method used in this study is the Monroe Breadsley method, which emphasizes the beauty of product photos that sell well. Monroe Beardsley in Problems in the Philosophy of Criticism explains that there are 3 characteristics that make aesthetic objects beautiful, namely: 1) Unity: well-arranged or perfect in shape; 2) Complexity: not very simple, rich in content and elements that contradict each other or contain subtle differences; 3) Seriousness (intensity): having a certain quality that stands out and is not just something empty. The results of this research activity are that there is an increase in the quality of product photos obtained by partners.

Abstract

Product packaging is an important for introducing products to the market. Through its packaging, a product can be known and remembered about the product's existence so the brand image is built. Snacks consisting of Fish Crackers and Fish Sticks produced by KWT (Women's Farmers Group) Gajah Tani Makmur do not yet have representative packaging as effective promotional media, because they are only wrapped in plain plastic, so they do not show a strong image about the product being wrapped. The aim of this product packaging design is to create a packaging design for snacks produced by KWT Gajah Tani Makmur so that it has a product image that can encourage strategic product promotion. The packaging design uses a design method with a Design Thinking approach, it means the strategy design focuses on solving problems of producer as design’s client, it is about product promotion problems of KWT Gajah Tani Makmur products. Qualitative data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and literacy studies. Qualitative data analysis is carried out by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). The result is a packaging prototype that shows brand identity that is ready to be used as promotional media. Keywords: Design, Packaging, Visual Branding

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang Buku Digital Ilustrasi sebagai media untuk memperkenalkan kampus untuk mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas tuli. Buku ini dimaksudkan untuk membantu mahasiswa tuli memahami lingkungan kampus dengan cara yang sedikit lebih mudah diakses. Tujuan utama dari desain ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi visual tentang kampus, kegiatan dan kehidupan, dengan ilustrasi yang jelas dan teks pendek yang digunakan sebagai bentuk komunikasi yang efektif untuk mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas tuli. Metode desain yang digunakan adalah metode desain pengguna-sentris yang mencakup penelitian literatur, wawancara dengan mahasiswa penyandang disabilitas tuli, dan pengamatan untuk memahami kebutuhan spesifik mereka. Prototipe Buku Digital Ilustrasi ini dikembangkan menggunakan perangkat lunak desain grafis yang menggabungkan ilustrasi yang mudah dipahami dan menarik perhatian pembaca. Hasil desain ini adalah Buku Digital Ilustrasi yang dapat diakses melalui perangkat elektronik dan berisi berbagai informasi penting tentang kampus, terutama istilah-istilah umum dunia kampus yang biasanya digunakan di dalam keseharian. Buku ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya pengalaman mahasiswa tuli untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan kampus dan meningkatkan rasa komitmen mereka terhadap kehidupan di kampus. Kesimpulan dari desain ini adalah bahwa Buku Digital Ilustrasi dapat menjadi perangkat yang efektif untuk inklusif dalam lingkungan kampus, terutama bagi mahasiswa yang mengalami penyandang disabilitas tuli. Media ini membantu mahasiswa tuli mendapatkan informasi dengan cara yang lebih intuitif dan menarik, membuat mereka lebih mudah beradaptasi dengan kehidupan di kampus.Kata kunci: Buku Digital Ilustrasi, pengenalan kampus, mahasiswa disabilitas tuli, inklusivitas, media aksesibilitas, desain berbasis pengguna.

Abstract

Members of the Klaten Persons with Disabilities Association (PPDK) produce various items but lack experience in product photography for social media marketing. To address this, the training conducted to improve their skills. The product photo training methods were lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on practice, and follow-up mentoring. As a result, participants' scores improved by 13.1%, from an average of 80.75 to 91.33, with the best photo scoring 95.00 using only a mobile phone. This training helps PPDK members create better-quality product photos suitable for digital marketing.Keywords: digital marketing; disability; product photography  Abstrak: Para anggota Perkumpulan Penyandang Disabilitas Klaten (PPDK) memiliki berbagai produk yang sudah dipasarkan di lingkungan sekitar PPDK, namun dalam pemasaran digital melalui media sosial mereka mengalami kendala dalam pengambilan foto produk ala kadarnya. Para pengrajin belum memiliki keterampilan teknik pengambilan foto produk yang memadai. Pelatihan foto produk ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemasaran produk anggota PPDK menjadi solusi yang tepat untuk membekali mereka dengan keterampilan foto produk yang mumpuni. Metode pelatihan foto produk yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung, serta pendampingan pasca pelatihan. Hasil dari pelatihan foto produk terjadi peningkatan 13,1% dari nilai rata-rata 80,75 menjadi rata-rata 91,33. Peserta pelatihan mendapatkan skill pengambilan foto produk yang bagus. Hasil foto produk terbaik mencapai nilai 95,00 dengan teknik pemotretan yang bagus hanya menggunakan kamera handphone sudah layak digunakan sebagai konten digital marketing.Kata kunci: disabilitas; foto produk; pemasaran digital

Abstract

Pencemaran logam berat di lingkungan perairan merupakan masalah lingkungan yang semakin meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan industri, pertambangan, dan aktivitas antropogenik lainnya. Logam berat seperti timbal (Pb), kadmium (Cd), dan merkuri (Hg) bersifat toksik, persisten, dan dapat terakumulasi dalam jaringan organisme hidup, sehingga membahayakan kesehatan ekosistem dan manusia. Upaya penanggulangan pencemaran logam berat dengan metode fisik dan kimia seringkali tidak ramah lingkungan serta mahal, sehingga diperlukan alternatif yang lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan. Salah satu pendekatan yang menjanjikan adalah bioremediasi menggunakan bakteri, yang mampu mereduksi dan menetralkan logam berat melalui berbagai mekanisme biologis. Artikel ini mereview potensi pemanfaatan bakteri dalam proses bioremediasi logam berat Pb, Cd, dan Hg di lingkungan perairan berdasarkan hasil-hasil penelitian terbaru. Dibahas pula mekanisme kerja bakteri dalam mereduksi logam berat, seperti biosorpsi, bioakumulasi, dan biotransformasi, serta faktor-faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhi efektivitasnya. Selain itu, disajikan studi-studi kasus dari berbagai perairan tercemar di Indonesia untuk menggambarkan aplikasi nyata dari pendekatan ini. Di akhir artikel, dikemukakan tantangan serta prospek ke depan dalam penerapan teknologi bioremediasi berbasis bakteri sebagai solusi pengelolaan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan. Abstract

PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan modern yang berorientasi pada kenyamanan serta kemudahan konsumen dalam berbelanja kebutuhan . Setiap bulan, perusahaan dapat menghasilkan data transaksi penjualan dalam jumlah besar yang tersimpan dalam bentuk nota atau riwayat penjualan. Volume data yang tinggi tersebut berpotensi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber informasi yang berguna atau bernilai bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengolah data penjualan menjadi infomarsi yang relevan untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan. Melalui pemanfaatan data penjualan tersebut, perusahaan diharapkan mampu mengidentifikasi pola pembelian konsumen sehingga dapat menentukan strategi penjualan yang lebih tepat serta mengoptimalkan pengelolaan persediaan barang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Data Mining dengan Standar Cross Industry Process For Data Mining (CRISP-DM). Analisis ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik Association Rule Mining dengan Algoritma Apriori. Hasil dari penerapan metode tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan intensitas penjualan pada periode berikutnya sekaligus mengurangi risiko penumpukan stok di dalam gudang. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam mendukung efektivitas strategi bisnis pada PT. XYZ.

Abstract

A teacher must have competence in both discipline and preparation of teaching materials because a teacher has an obligation to educate the nation's children so that the teaching and learning process can be created well and the quality of graduate students can be achieved well. The objectives of this study are (1) to determine whether teacher discipline partially affects the quality of graduate students at SMK Wisudha Karya Kudus; (2) to find out whether the preparation of teacher teaching materials partially affects the quality of graduate students at SMK Wisudha Karya Kudus; (3) to find out whether teacher discipline and the preparation of teacher teaching materials affect the quality of graduate students at SMK Wisudha Karya Kudus. This research includes field research. Research place at SMK Wisuda Karya Kudus. Data collection methods using Questionnaires, Documentation Sheets, Observation Sheets. The results showed that (1) Teacher discipline partially affected the quality of graduate students at SMK Wisudha Karya Kudus with sufficient categories of 45.6%, while the remaining 54.4% was influenced by other factors that were not studied. (2) The preparation of teacher teaching materials partially affects the quality of graduate students at SMK Wisudha Karya Kudus with sufficient categories of 23.5%, while the remaining 76.5% is influenced by other factors that are not studied. (3) Teacher discipline and preparation of teacher teaching materials simultaneously affect the quality of graduate students at SMK Wisudha Karya Kudus by showing a fairly good category of 52.18%, while the remaining 47.82% is influenced by other factors that are not studied.
