Abstract

The hydroponic planting method is one solution for supplying vegetable needs where agricultural land is limited. Hydroponics allows the growing of vegetables in stages in a limited area by utilizing water as a growing medium. Water quality greatly determines plant fertility, so monitoring must be carried out regularly. Currently, the agricultural sector in Sukabumi has a large potential for the economy of the community. Farmers develop hydroponic farming but monitoring of water quality is still done traditionally. Therefore, in this study, a water quality monitoring system is proposed including pH, turbidity, and temperature. Another parameter that is observed is the water level in the reservoir which is useful for maintaining water circulation. This system works online through the internet network, both the sensing process, data transmission, and data display using the Internet of Things (IoT) platform. The measured parameters can be observed via a web application. Performance evaluation of sensor devices is carried out by comparing the measurement values of standard devices. The test results on the system that has been implemented show that the system has high accuracy, and all parameters are successfully displayed on the web page. The applied systems can increase the fertility of vegetables on hydroponic land so that it can improve the quality of production.

Abstract

Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus Ostreatus) is a fungus-like plant that is often cultivated in Indonesian agriculture. Oyster mushroom is raised by manipulating environmental parameters, so that it can grow in the provided Kumbung. Oyster mushroom requires a temperature that is used, which ranges from 23°-28°C, for humidity used between 70% -90% and for light intensity it requires light of ±300 lux. In this study, a system was designed to carry out automatic monitoring and control in real time based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which integrates DHT22 humidity and temperature sensors, BH1750 light intensity sensors and NodeMCU as a microcontroller with measurement results sent to the Firebase database. In addition, a water pump connected to the sprayer nozzle is installed in this system to maintain the humidity of the oyster mushroom curd. From the test results, the system can work automatically to stabilize temperature, humidity, and light intensity according to the ideal parameters.

Abstract

In UWB-based indoor positioning, it is important to observe the ranging performance of the UWB module to prevent positioning errors. Ranging is the initial process in computing positioning. This research aims to observe the ranging accuracy and precision of the ESP32 UWB Pro with a Display module and analyze its performance in indoor positioning using TDoA and Trilateration. The ranging method was held using the SS-TWR which is the basic ranging used generally in UWB. ESP32 Pro is a module consisting of ESP32 and OLED display which is integrated with Decawave DW 1000. Analysis of 6750 ranging error data is carried out to determine the appropriate method to increase accuracy. The convergence of error ranges that occur leads to the use of regression as an error mitigation method for Decawave on the ESP32 UWB Pro with Display module. Increasing the accuracy of ranging regression can reduce the error from MAE of 79.98cm to only 5.05cm. It’s applied to positioning to obtain the accuracy and precision performance of the TDoA and Trilateration positioning.  The resulting MAE values are 7.47cm for X and 10.49cm for Y in TDoA Positioning. Meanwhile, in Trilateration, the MAE was 8.15cm for X and 8.47cm for Y. Our findings indicate that an increase in ranging accuracy with regression had an impact on positioning accuracy. However, the spread of error positioning shows that it’s still weak in precision.

Abstract

Statistical calculations on signals commonly used in feature extraction. In software processing, statistical computation is an easy task. However, providing a computer requires high costs for simple statistical processing. Another consideration is the need for implementation with real-time and portable processing. Therefore, an alternative device is needed, one of which is the field programmable gate array (FPGA). FPGA is a logic circuit board that can be reconfigured according to computing needs. FPGA can also be used as a prototyping of electronic chips. However, implementing statistical formulas in FPGA is interesting in developing its architecture. Therefore, this research proposes a logic circuit design that can be used for first-order statistical calculations. Statistical parameters include the mean, variance, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis. The validation test was performed on the electrocardiogram (ECG) signal series and compared with manual calculations. Validation shows that the mean and variance has very high accuracy with an average error of less than 0.06%.

Abstract

Laboratorium komputer jaringan di SMK Al Amah Sindulang memiliki peran penting dalam pembelajaran dan praktikum siswa program studi Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan. Namun, laboratorium ini menghadapi tantangan terkait kekurangan fasilitas, sarana pendukung, keterampilan guru, dan keamanan. Telkom University dan PT Srikaton Inovasi Teknologi (SIT) berkolaborasi untuk menyusun program pengabdian masyarakat. Program ini mencakup pemberian perangkat komputer, pemasangan jaringan, pelatihan instalasi jaringan dan internet, implementasi sistem akses kontrol berbasis RFID, serta pembuatan modul pembelajaran dan video tutorial. Dengan serangkaian kegiatan ini, rasio perangkat komputer dan praktikan meningkat, kompetensi siswa dan guru dalam pengelolaan laboratorium meningkat, dan keamanan akses ke laboratorium terjamin. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan praktikum, serta memperkuat kemampuan siswa program studi Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan di SMK Al Amah Sindulang. Melalui Pengabdian Masyarakat ini, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam kualitas dan fasilitas laboratorium, sehingga memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih baik bagi siswa dan menciptakan lulusan yang kompeten dan siap menghadapi tuntutan dunia kerja di bidang teknologi komputer dan jaringan. Hasil kuisioner kepada peserta menunjukkan bahwa 100% masyarakat sasar setuju bahwa kegiatan ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan berharap kegiatan dapat dilaksanakan berkesinambungan.

Abstract

The presence of missing values within datasets can introduce a detrimental bias, significantly impeding the predictive algorithm's ability to discern patterns and accurately execute prediction. This paper aims to elucidate the intricacies of data imputation methods, providing a more profound understanding of prevalent imputation methods, including list-wise deletion (IGN), mean imputation (AVG), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), MissForest (MF), and Predictive Mean Matching (PMM). The dataset employed in this study consists of financial data about S&P 500 companies in the Compustat North America database. The training and validation dataset encompasses 1973 instances, consisting of data during the fourth quarter of 2009, the first quarter of 2010, and the third quarter of 2014. Within this set, 457 missing values were identified and imputed. The test dataset comprises 197 randomly selected instances from the fourth quarter of 2014, equivalent to ten percent of the total instances in the training dataset. The evaluation findings prominently position the dataset derived from MF imputation as the leading performer among all the imputed datasets. The insights derived from this study are intended to assist practitioners in making informed choices when selecting the most suitable data imputation method, particularly in the context of predictive modeling tasks.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPada studi ini diimplementasikan sebuah sistem untuk memantau ketinggian air di dalam drum secara online real-time menggunakan platform Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem ini terdiri dari sensor ultrasonik untuk estimasi ketinggian air, kemudian data tersebut dikirim ke firebase cloud database, untuk diakses oleh perangkat monitoring atau mengakses halaman website. Level air yang tersisa direpresentasikan dalam nilai persen (%). Rata-rata kesalahan pembacaan sensor adalah tidak lebih dari 2%. Delay pengiriman yang digenerate adalah 39,06 ms, sesuai dengan rekomendasi ITU-T untuk komunikasi real-time. Sistem informasi web dapat menampilkan data ketinggian air dalam bentuk numerik dan grafik. Sistem ini telah diterapkan di sekolah menengah pertama Al-Azhar kota Bandung dan diharapkan dapat diperluas penerapannya.Kata kunci: drum, ketinggian air, real-time, IoT ABSTRACTIn this study, a real-time online monitoring of the water level in the drum was implemented using the internet of things (IoT) platform. This system consists of ultrasonic sensors to estimate the water level, then the data is sent to the Firebase cloud database, to be accessed by monitoring devices or accessing a website page. Water level is represented as a percent (%). The average sensor reading error is not more than 2%. The generated delivery delay is 39.06 ms, according to ITU-T recommendations for real-time communication. The web information system can display water level data in numerical and graphic form. Abstract

ABSTRAKSaat ini sektor industri di Indonesia tumbuh semakin pesat yang menggeser lahan pertanian menjadi sempit. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan para petani perlu mencari lahan lain untuk tetap dapat memproduksi bahan pangannya. Hidroponik merupakan teknik bertanam menggunakan media air yang memanfaatkan lahan sempit. Salah satu tanaman yang sering diterapkan ialah tanaman selada. Namun, dengan penerapan teknik hidroponik ini masih terdapat kualitas tanaman selada yang kurang baik karena kurang memperhatikan pemeliharaannya sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya nutrisi pada tanaman selada. Maka dari itu, pada penelitian ini akan membuat sistem klasifikasi defisiensi nutrisi pada tanaman hidroponik selada melalui citra daun dengan menggunakan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) berbasis arsitektur MobileNetV2. Hasil dalam skenario uji penelitian ini memperoleh akurasi sebesar 88%. Dengan begitu, diharapkan dapat membantu para petani untuk mengetahui defisiensi nutrisi pada tanaman selada agar tetap dapat menjaga kualitas produksi tanaman selada.Kata kunci: CNN, hidroponik, MobileNetV2, nutrisi, selada ABSTRACTCurrently the industrial sector in Indonesia is growing rapidly which shifts agricultural land to narrow. This resulted in farmers needing to look for other land to continue to be able to produce their food. Hydroponics is a farming technique using water media that utilizes narrow land. One of the plants that is often used is lettuce. However, with the application of this hydroponic technique, the quality of lettuce plants is still not good due to lack of attention to maintenance, resulting in a lack of nutrition in lettuce plants. Therefore, this research will create a nutritional deficiency classification system in hydroponic lettuce through leaf images using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based on the MobileNetV2 architecture. The results in this research test scenario obtained an accuracy of 88%. That way, it is hoped that it can help farmers to find out nutritional deficiencies in  lettuce plants so that they can maintain the quality of lettuce production.Keywords: CNN, hydroponic, lettuce, MobileNetV2, nutrition

Abstract

ABSTRAKPada makalah ini, kami membandingkan protokol routing proaktif Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) dan protokol routing reaktif Ad-hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) dan Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) pada model propagasi Shadowing dan pergerakan pada mobile adhoc network (MANET). Terdapat dua skenario pengujian, yaitu dampak dari kecepatan pergerakan pengguna dan variasi waktu jeda pengguna dengan mobilitas Random Way Point (RWP). Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar kecepatan maka kinerja throughput akan menurun, sedangkan delay dan Normalized Routing Load (NRL) akan meningkat. Semakin lama waktu jeda, semakin lama topologi berubah, akibatnya parameter throughput meningkat sedangkan delay end-to-end dan NRL menurun. OLSR proaktif menunjukkan kinerja terbaik dibandingkan dengan protokol lain berdasarkan parameter throughput, sedangkan AODV reaktif mengungguli penundaan end-to-end dan parameter NRL.Kata kunci: Protokol perutean, shadowing, Mobility, MANET ABSTRACTIn this paper, we compared the proactive routing protocols Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) and the reactive routing protocols Ad-hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) in shadowing propagation and mobility model on mobile adhoc network (MANET). There are two test scenarios, such as the impact of user movement velocity and variations in user pause time with Random Way Point (RWP) mobility. In user velocity testing, the greater the speed, the throughput performance will decrease, while the delay and Normalized Routing Load (NRL) will increase. The pause time test describes the dynamics of changing network topology. The longer the pause time, the longer the topology changes, as a result, the throughput parameter increases while the end-to-end delay and NRL decrease. The proactive OLSR shows the best performance compared to other protocols based on throughput parameters, while the reactive AODV outperforms for end-to-end delay and NRL parameters.Keywords: routing protocol, shadowing, Mobility, MANET

Abstract

Voltage source inverter has been applied for uninterruptible power supply (UPS), renewable energy sources, and motor drive. The popular modulations for inverters are sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM), zero sequence signal modulation (ZSS), space vector modulation (SVM), and discontinuous PWM (DPWM). All these modulations have been applied to three-phase and multiphase inverters. The characteristics of the modulation application in these inverters have been well investigated. However, only SPWM has been applied satisfactorily in single-phase inverter. From the literature, the applications of ZSS and DPWM couldn’t show any benefit. In this paper, a DPWM is proposed for single-phase inverter. The output current ripple is analyzed and experiments are conducted to verify the analytical result. Comparison to SPWM is conducted to find the modulation index range that provides a benefit when using the DPWM.
