Abstract

This research is aimed to correlate ingroup favoritism and prosocial behavior in religion intergroup relationship context. Pearson’s correlation was used to correlate them. The participants of this study were 103 muslims. Ingroup favoritism was measured by the Three Dimensions of Social Identification constructed by Cameroon (2004) and prosocialness behavior was measured by the adapted version of Prosocialness for Adults (PSA) by Caprara et. al. (2005). The study showed that there was a relationship between ingroup favoritism and prosocial behavior towards Muslims with a correlation coefficient of 0.23 and a p-value less than 0.005, and towards non-Muslims with a correlation coefficient of -0.416 and a p-value less than 0.005. Prosocial behavior was more frequently given by Muslims towards fellow Muslims compared to non-Muslims.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara persepsi terhadap Ormas Front Pembela Islam (FPI) dan sikap terhadap isu pembubaran FPI pada mahasiswa di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasi. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 351 mahasiswa yang berkuliah di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Instrumen Persepsi Terhadap FPI yang disusun berdasarkan dimensi persepsi menurut Calhoun dan Acocella (dalam Septiyanti, 2009) untuk mengukur variabel persepsi terhadap FPI dan Instrumen Sikap Terhadap Isu Pembubaran FPI yang disusun berdasarkan Model Sikap ABC (Jain, 2014) untuk mengukur variabel sikap terhadap isu pembubaran FPI. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif antara persepsi terhadap FPI dan sikap terhadap isu pembubaran FPI pada mahasiswa di Kota Bandung dengan koefisien korelasi Pearson sebesar -0,770.

Abstract

This study was designed to describe an appropriate parenting model for children in LPKA (Rehabilitation Center for Children). A grounded research approach was utilized and a sample of 15 to 18 year old children inmates amount 56 childrens was interviewed. It was found that family and religiosity concepts are important factors for the children. Parenting model for the children have to involve both religiosity and emotional attachment aspects. The results showed that a suitable parenting model was the concept of religiosity and familyhood. This is obtained through the fostering of religious aspects such as conducting prayer activities in congregation, learning to read Al-Quran, and religious lectures. While the concept of familyhood can be through personal interaction among students and with officers who can build emotional closeness.

Abstract

Abstract The EARS program is based on the Psychological First Aid (PFA) concept to improve sychological well-being. The program is carried out online using the WhatsApp chat media, training conducted by the helper who received the training. The subjects in this study were adolescents aged 19-25 years who registered and filled out informed consent. Subjects totaling 30 people, but who filled out a total of 13 people in the test so that only 13 people were processed the data. This study uses a quasi-experimental one group pretest and posttest design. Data analysis used Paired sample T-Test with P under 0.05. This shows that the EARS Program can improve psychological well-being.Keywords: pandemi, psychological wellbeing, psychology first aid, student Abstrak Program EARS disusun berdasarkan konsep Psychological First Aid (PFA) untuk dapat meningkatkan psychological well-being. Program di lakukan secara online dengan menggunakan media chat whatsapp yang dilakukan oleh helper yang mendapatkan pelatihan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja usia 19-25 tahun yang mendaftarkan diri dan mengisi informed consent. Subjek berjumlah 30 orang namun yang mengisi keseluruhan test 13 orang sehingga hanya 13 orang yang di olah datanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen one group pretest and posttest design. Analisis data menggunakan paired sample T-Test dengan hasil P dibawah 0,05. Hal ini menunjukan Program EARS dapat meningkatkan psychological well-being. Kata kunci: kesejahteraan psikologis, mahasiswa, pandemi, psikologi pertolongan pertama

Abstract

Cases of bullying or bullying in Indonesia claim many lives. The distribution of the 30 bullying cases included middle school (50%), elementary school (30%), high school (10%), and vocational school (10%). Of these 30 cases of bullying, there were cases that claimed lives, namely one elementary school student in Sukabumi Regency and one MTs student in Blitar (East Java). Both died after experiencing violence from peers within the educational unit (Rosa, 2023). The increasing number of reports of bullying against children is a serious concern for the Psychology Study Program at the Indonesian University of Education (UPI). This is in line with one of the study program's missions, namely realizing community welfare. Children's welfare is an integral part of society's welfare which can be measured through various indicators, including those regulated in Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. This law emphasizes that every child, including young children, has the right to grow and develop optimally. These rights must be guaranteed, protected and fulfilled by parents, family, society and the state. Unfortunately, aggressive behavior such as violence and bullying among children can have long-term impacts, including increased risk of psychological disorders, poor social functioning, and obstacles in the educational process. As an institution committed to the welfare of society, the UPI Psychology Study Program has an important role in providing education, intervention and research that supports efforts to prevent and handle bullying and violence against children. Based on the presentation of this case, the Psychology Study Program at the Indonesian Education University felt the need to carry out preventive efforts in the form of assertive communication training to minimize the increase in bullying behavior. The aim of this training is to provide training to elementary school teachers so they can train their students about the importance of assertive behavior and develop assertive behavior in an effort to prevent bullying behavior. The method used in this community service was providing material regarding assertive communication. The number of training participants was 116 people who were elementary school teachers spread across the Sukabumi Regency area. There is a pre-test and post-test to test the teachers' knowledge. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant increase in knowledge and the training participants gave a positive response in terms of teaching and implementation.

Abstract

The use of online media in the realm of education is a trend nowadays. Not only is it used to support the learning process, it also supports students' psychological conditions. One of them is creating a growth mindset. The aim of the research is to describe the development of online interventions for growth mindsets used in the educational domain. Bibliometric analysis was used in this study. Data pertaining to articles published on Google Scholar relevant to this research topic were gathered utilizing the Publish or Perish application. Furthermore, the data was analysed using the VOSviewer application. The results of the analysis revealed that the use of online-based interventions was developed and used to improve students' growth mindset in the current educational domain. Various online-based intervention designs have been developed and scientifically researched for their impact on growth mindset in the education domain. This research can serve as a basis for creating growth mindset-based media interventions for students in the context of education.

Abstract

Kehadiran siswa dengan spektrum autis dalam konteks pendidikan yang inklusif menimbulkan berbagai tantangan, termasuk dalam memahami dan mengintegrasikan materi agama serta memperbaiki kemampuan interaksi sosial mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi relevansi antara materi agama dan kemampuan interaksi sosial siswa autis, dengan memperhitungkan sudut pandang dari bidang bimbingan konseling. Penelitian ini mencakup analisis menyeluruh terhadap dampak materi agama terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam berinteraksi sosial melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran materi agama yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa autis dapat membantu mereka dalam mengembangkan pemahaman spiritual serta meningkatkan keterampilan sosial mereka. Peran bimbingan konseling yang holistik dan kolaboratif terbukti signifikan dalam mendukung integrasi materi agama dan peningkatan kemampuan interaksi sosial siswa autis. Implikasi praktis dan pedagogis dari temuan ini diperdebatkan dalam konteks peningkatan kualitas pendidikan inklusif bagi siswa autis

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini menyoroti masalah kekerasan dan perundungan yang menjadi ancaman serius bagi anak-anak di lingkungan pendidikan. Berdasarkan data Federasi Serikat Guru Indonesia (FSGI) tahun 2023, perundungan paling banyak terjadi di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), diikuti oleh Sekolah Dasar (SD), dengan dua kasus fatal yang menyebabkan kematian. Fakta ini menegaskan bahwa perundungan bukan hanya sekadar masalah psikologis, tetapi juga berpotensi fatal. Kondisi ini sejalan dengan misi Program Studi Psikologi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, yang mencakup perlindungan anak. Perilaku agresif tersebut dapat menimbulkan dampak jangka panjang, seperti gangguan psikis, penurunan fungsi sosial, dan hambatan dalam proses pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi berbasis psikologi. Sebagai kontribusi nyata, penelitian ini menguji efektivitas pelatihan Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) bagi tenaga pendidik dalam mendampingi pemulihan sosioemosional korban perundungan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari pretest (xˉ=21.83) ke posttest (xˉ=22.39). Peningkatan ini menunjukkan tren positif, namun dari hasil uji t-test berpasangan, nilai t-hitung sebesar -1.970 dengan p-value dua arah 0.0615. Karena nilai p-value ini lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 0.05, disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest. Meskipun ada peningkatan, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan tersebut belum cukup kuat untuk dianggap sebagai hasil yang signifikan pada populasi.
