Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe student attitudes toward physics based on the indicators of scientific normality, attitudes toward inquiry in physics and adoption of students' scientific attitudes. The type of research used is quantitative type with survey method. This research subject are 235 students from science major in Senior High School 11 Jambi city. The instruments in this research is a questioner by Darmawangsa (2018). The results show that attitudes of high school 11 students tend to be good with a scientific normality category of 47%, attitudes toward inquiry in physics by 53% and adoption of scientific attitudes by 63%

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang seharusnya dilaksanakan berpusat pada peserta didik (Student centered) tidak sepenuhnya diterapkan, sehingga peserta didik menjadi tidak aktif, untuk itu dikembangkan produk berupa Aplikasi Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis STEM ini agar dapat menunjang pembelajaran siswa menjadi lebih menarik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Development, Implemetasi, dan Evaluasi). Hasil produk divalidasi oleh validator ahli dan validator media dan diperoleh hasil dengan rata-rata 3,30 dalam kategori  sangat baik untuk ahli materi dan 3,4 hasil dari ahli media dengan kategori sangat baik. Responden penelitian adalah siswa SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi dalam uji kelompok kecil angket responden dan diperoleh hasil Produk yang dikembangkan memiliki rata-rata skor 3,27 dimana termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik, Pada Aspek Komunikasi Visual memiliki rata-rata 3,21 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik, Pada Aspek rekayasa perangkat lunak dengan rata-rata 3,29 dengan kategori sangat baik dan Nilai Rata-Rata secara keseluruhan adalah 3,26 dalam kategori sangat baik. Sehingga Produk yang dihasilkan dapat dikategorikan sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

This research go to analyze the initial needs of teachers and students for the development of learning media in the form of STEM-based student worksheet applications in circular motion. Data obtained through observation, interviews and student learning style questionnaires given to teachers and students of SMA N 1 Muaro Jambi. Teachers need an attractive and interactive learning media that can attract students' interest, while students need learning media that combines all aspects of visual, audiotorial and kinesthetic learning styles where it is obtained from a questionnaire th at students have visual, kinesthetic and audiotorial learning styles with a percentage of 58, 3%, 58.3% and 52.8%. So that researchers will develop student worksheets in the form of android based on the results of the learning style analysis. Products produced are in the form of android and based on STEM.

Abstract

Sekolah belum menerapkan atau membuat media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah seperti apa yang dibutuhkan pada abad 21. Sekolah masih menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional karena keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) terintegrasi STEM pada materi suhu dan kalor dan mengetahui persepsi peserta didik terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model 4D yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XI MIPA. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri: lembar observasi, angket validasi, dan angket persepsi peserta didik. Teknik analisis data kualitatif secara deskriptif dan data kuantitatif dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menyatakan bahwa LKPD tersebut layak untuk digunakan dengan nilai kelayakan 3,36 dengan kategori sangat baik. Maka media pembelajaran berupa LKPD terintegrasi STEM pada materi suhu dan kalor layak digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Adanya pengembangan LKPD diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar khususnya memahami materti suhu dan kalor. Selain itu guru dapat menggunakan LKPD ini dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan karakter semangat kebangsaan siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa di SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode asosiatif kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan angket atau kuesioner dan soal  yang dibagikan kepada siswa dengan sampel 35 orang yaitu siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi. Dengan populasi seluruh siswa SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan program SPSS untuk melakukan uji asumsi ( normalitas dan linearitas) dan membuat hipotesis melalui uji korelasional. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi didapatkan nilai Pearson correlation 0,027 0,05 maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak atau  terdapat hubungan antara karakter semangat kebangsaan dengan hasil belajar siswa di SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to find out how the character of the nationality of students correlates with the learning outcomes of SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi. This type of research is a quantitative research using a correlational quantitative type associative method. The data collection technique in this study was to use questionnaires or questionnaires and questions that were distributed to students with a sample of 35 people namely VII SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi. With a population of all students of Muaro Jambi Middle School 1. Data analysis in this study uses a type of quantitative research using the SPSS program to test assumptions (normality and linearity) and make hypotheses through correlational tests. The results of the study show that using the correlation test obtained Pearson correlation value 0.027 0.05, it can be stated that Ho is rejected or there is a relationship between the character of national spirit and student learning outcomes at SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

This study purpose to find out the student learning outcomes of cognitive aspects by applying guided inquiry based LKS with the help of PhET Interactive Simulations better than the conventional LKS used by schools on the subject of static electricity and dynamic electricity. This research is a quantitative research with Quasy Experimental design and the design of non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study is the students of class IX SMPN 22 Kota Jambi consisting of 5 classes. The sample used in this research is class IX C and as experimental class and class IX D as control class. The experimental class is taught by using guided inquiry LKS and control classes taught with the school's conventional LKS. Research instruments are objective questions that have been tested. This study collected data using multiple choice questions that have been tested in IXA SMPN 16 Muaro Jambi class. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class is 32.62 and the control class is 31.18. obtained the results of research that the value of t is greater than the value ttable with a significance of 0.05. Based on research that has been done tcount equal to 1.71. while the ttable is 1.67. because tcount obtained 1.71 ≥ 1.67 then H0 rejected. This shows that there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes of students using instructional based LSM inquiry with the help of PhET Interactive Simulations and LKS conventional schools.

Abstract

Abstract

Since the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the world of education has been affected by the application of a learning system that is carried out in a blended learning manner. Therefore, this study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of a STEM-based web module using scaffolding to assist the learning process during the covid 19 pandemic. The development of a STEM-based web module using scaffolding is carried out using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data were obtained through interviews with physics teachers. Based on the results of interviews with teachers at one of the senior high schools in Batanghari district, it is known that in offline learning, printed books from the school library are still used. Therefore, we need an electronic module that can be accessed anytime and anywhere to facilitate the learning process. So that researchers will develop a STEM-based web module using scaffolding on straight motion physics material for class X high school. The product produced is in the form of a web containing material for straight motion physics class X SMA/MA based on STEM using scaffolding
