Abstract

Abstract: Madrasah are Islamic institutions with the responsibility to provide quality educational services to the community. This quality service can be seen from the school's performance. The purpose of this research is to identify; (1) learning management (2) school management and leadership in Madrasah Aliyah 1 State Islamic Senior High School in Gorontalo. This quantitative research is located in Madrasah Aliyah 1 State Islamic Senior High School in Gorontalo with 46 teachers as research subjects. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using the percentage technique presented in the form of tables and diagrams.   The results showed that: (1) learning management obtained results of 81.02% including the effective category, and (2) the results of management and leadership management achievements obtained 87.84% including effective categories. Thus, it can be stated that the performance of Madrasah Aliyah 1 State Islamic Senior High School in Gorontalo is effective Keywords: madrasah performance, management, leadership

Abstract

Management Information Systems (MIS) is a data processing procedure based on the information technology as a tool to produce the information in a timely and effective way to support the management in decision making process. In developing a management information system, quality approach has become essential factor due to the function of quality control in assuring the performance of the organization activities. Establishing of Management Information Systems at the higher education institution driven by many reason, such as: (1) Management Information Systems is designed to support the operations, management, and decision functions of an organization, (2) Management Information Systems enable the organizations planning, control, and operational functions to be carried out effectively and the means of efficient coordination between Departments; quick and reliable referencing (3) Management Information System could be a tool by striving to  highest quality standards in the teaching and learning process, (4) Management Information Systems provides a valuable time-saving benefit to the workforce in term of quick and reliable referencing; access to relevant data and documents; use of less labor; improvement in organizational and departmental techniques; management of day-to-day activities and (5) Management Information Systems can effectively respond to the changing of society demands in their interest in dependable and reliable information as well as easily.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kemampuan konseptual kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Pohuwato. (2) kemampuan hubungan manusiawi kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Pohuwato. (3) kemampuan tekhniknya kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Pohuwato. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni eksplanatori. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner pada responden yang telah memenuhi standar sampel penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah ditinjau dari kemampuan konseptual dalam pengembangan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Pohuwato terletak pada kriteria yang “Cukup Baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 88,63%. (2) kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah ditinjau dari kemampuan hubungan manusiawi dalam pengembangan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Pohuwato terletak pada kriteria yang “Baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 90,25%. (3) kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah ditinjau dari kemampuan teknik dalam pengembangan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Pohuwato terletak pada kriteria yang “Cukup Baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 86,48%.

Abstract

Medical Education has its peculiarities, particularly in different countries. This study aims to explain the comparison of medical education in Indonesia and America. This comparison is explained from several aspects: the purpose of education, length of time to study, the peculiarities of the education system, curriculum and learning system, educational evaluation system, and the advantages of the education system. The results of the literature study show that each country has its advantages. In Indonesia, there is only one type of general practitioner. In America, there are two types of general practitioners. The length of time for completing medical education in Indonesia is faster than in America, but more cases of disease and learning facilities in America. It is hoped that there will be more centers of excellence for certain diseases in Indonesia, which will become a learning tool for medical students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) adjustment of study program learning outcomes, and (2) study program strategies to realize learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with explanatory descriptive type. The subjects of this study were 15 lecturers. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique using the percentage formula. The results of the study show that: (1) the adjustment of learning outcomes is in the good category, because it refers to the KKNI which is used as a reference in the assessment; and (2) the study program strategy to achieve learning outcomes is in the good category, through integration strategies in learning, alumni involvement, and curriculum adjustments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of graduates of the UNG Education Management Study Program in Bone Bolango Regency, in terms of:  (1) Integrity (ethics and morals); (2) Expertise based in the field of science (professionalism); (3) Foreign language skills (English); (4) Ability to use information technology: (5) Ability to communicate; (6) Team cooperation ability; (7) Self-development ability. This study applied a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The number of research subjects was 30 graduate users. Data collection techniques use a questionnaire. The analytical technique used in this research is the descriptive analysis technique using the percentage formula. The results showed that the responses of graduate users on the aspects of: (1) Integrity (ethics and morals) were in a good category; (2) Expertise based on the field of science (professionalism) was in a good category; (3) Foreign language skills (English) was in a very poor category; (4) The ability to use information technology was in a fairly good category; (5) The communication ability was in a good category; (6) The ability of teamwork was in a good category; (7) Self-development ability was in a good category.

Abstract

The problem in this study is how is the quality of education set by the Singapore Ministry of Education to realize the excellence of students at every level of education? How to develop early education to overcome the drop out at the primary school education level in Singapore? The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques through library studies. Literature research is a data collection technique by reviewing books, literature, notes, and various reports related to the problem to be solved. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing, presenting, and inferring the data that has been collected. The results showed that (1) The quality of education at every level and unit of education in Singapore has always been of particular concern to the Singapore Ministry of Education. Singapore's Ministry of Education always oversees the development of the national curriculum to obtain the desired Educational outcomes. in the form of student excellence in life skills, knowledge skills, and subject discipline knowledge organized into eight core skills and values: character development, self-management skills, social and cooperative skills, literacy and numeracy, communication skills, information skills, thinking skills and creativity, and skills of application of knowledge. (2) Singapore is a barometer of early childhood education programs in the Asia Pacific Region. The involvement of parents in supporting children's learning activities at home is a must so that the child's learning atmosphere while at school is supported and strengthened by the learning atmosphere at home.Keywords: education system, early childhood, Singapore, Schools, singapore

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) gambaran perencanaan pembelajaran inklusif di SDN 27 Kota Gorontalo dan SD Laboratorium UNG, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran inklusif di SDN 27 Kota Gorontalo dan SD Laboratorium UNG, (3) Penilaian pembelajaran inklusif di SDN 27 Kota Gorontalo dan SD Laboratorium UNG, (4) Keberlanjutan pembelajaran inklusif di SDN 27 Kota Gorontalo dan SD Laboratorium UNG. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan tiga cara yaitu: (1) wawancara, (2) observasi, (3) studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pengelolaan pendidikan inklusif di Sekolah Dasar studi kasus di SD 27 Kota Selatan dan SD Laboratorium UNG adalah sebagai berikut: (1). Perencanaan pembelajaran inklusif dari aspek: (a) identifikasi dan asesmen b) profil peserta didik inklusif. (c) program pendidikan individual siswa inklusif (d) sumber daya guru inklusif terdiri dari guru yang sudah mengikuti pelatihan dan memiliki sertifikat (e) pembiayaan pendidikan merupakan pendanaan yang khusus dialokasikan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran siswa inklusif. (2) Pelaksanaan pengelolaan pendidikan inklusif dilihat dari aspek kurikulum yang sudah dimodifikasi, strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai kebutuhan siswa inklusif dan media pembelajaran yang menunjang pembelajaran dan pembimbingan siswa inklusif. (3) Penilaian pengelolaan pendidikan inklusif di lihat dari karakteristik penilaian siswa inklusif dan laporan hasil belajar. (4) Keberlanjutan pengelolaan pendidikan inklusif dilihat dari peningkatan siswa inklusif yang mendaftar disekolah inklusif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pengambilan keputusan strategik kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri berdasarkan (1) fase identifikasi, (2) pengembangan, (3) penyelesaian, dan (4) implementasi & evaluasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni eksplanatori. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni dengan menggunakan angket. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dan SWOT. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) fase identifikasi pengambilan keputusan strategik kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri berada pada kriteria yang baik. (2) fase pengembangan dalam pengambilan keputusan strategik kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri berada pada kriteria yang baik. (3) fase penyelesaian dalam pengambilan keputusan strategik kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri berada pada kriteria yang baik. (4) fase implementasi dan evaluasi dalam pengambilan keputusan strategik kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri berada pada kriteria yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri se Kabupaten Boalemo berdasarkan aspek (1) melakukan inovasi, (2) kerja keras, (3) motivasi yang kuat, (4) pantang menyerah & (5) naluri kewirausahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni eksplanatori. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner pada responden. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sebanyak 134 orang. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin sehingga terpilih sebanyak 101 orang guru. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) Kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah berdasarkan aspek melakukan inovasi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri se Kecamatan Tilamuta Kabupaten Boalemo memiliki capaian skor sebesar 83,27% yang berada pada kriteria “kompeten”. (2) Kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah berdasarkan aspek kerja keras di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri se Kecamatan Tilamuta Kabupaten Boalemo memiliki capaian skor sebesar 85,54% yang berada pada kriteria yang “kompeten”. (3) Kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah berdasarkan aspek motivasi yang kuat di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri se Kecamatan Tilamuta Kabupaten Boalemo memiliki capaian skor sebesar 85,43% yang berada pada kriteria yang “kompeten”. (4) Kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah berdasarkan aspek pantang menyerah di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri se Kecamatan Tilamuta Kabupaten Boalemo memiliki capaian skor sebesar 85,72% yang berada pada kriteria yang “kompeten”. (6) Kompetensi kewirausahaan kepala sekolah berdasarkan aspek naluri kewirausahaan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri se Kecamatan Tilamuta Kabupaten Boalemo memiliki capaian skor sebesar 86,47% yang berada pada kriteria yang “kompeten”.
