Abstract

The Microhydro Power Plant (MHP) is a small-scale power plant that uses hydropower. The most important component in a microhydro power plant is a turbine. The turbine used in this MHP model is the Archimedes screw turbine. In this research will discuss about the effect of water pressure on the rotation produced by Archimedes screw turbine so that it can be seen voltage, current, generated power by generator, torque and efficiency in modeling of MHP. Changes in water pressure given at 4 psi, 8 psi, 12 psi, 16 psi, 20 psi, and 24 psi. The highest measurement results are obtained at 24 psi water pressure, where the voltage, current, and generator output power is 85.8 Volt, 0.1963 Ampere and 16.85 Watt. For the rotation speed of the generator at 24 psi pressure is equal to 4582 rpm, while the speed of turbine rotation produced at 24 psi this pressure is equal to 383 rpm before coupled with generator and 222 rpm after coupled with generator. The torque and efficiency produced at 24 psi pressure are 0.73 Nm and 18.1%.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, developments occur in all aspects, one of which is the economy. One of the developments that occurred in the modern era was the emergence of minimarkets as shopping centers to replace markets. Minimarket provides convenient shopping facilities for customers. But minimarkets still have problems where there are long traffic jams on certain days or hours, thereby reducing the time efficiency of customers. Another problem that arises is that customers do not know the stock availability of the goods before coming to the minimarket. Therefore a system was developed that can check the availability of goods and make purchases automatically remotely. The system built using Arduino Mega and ESP as the brain tool, the sensors used are limit switches and IR sensors. The drives used in this study are the wiper motor as the x-axis driver and the power window motor as they drive. The servo motor is used as a driving force for the room door and for moving food to fall. In the study, the results obtained at the time of taking food were carried out 12 experiments in which the results of the tool could take food according to the input received from the application. In the experiment of taking goods, it was carried out with 12 experiments where it was found that the tool was able to take goods according to the input data received from the application and to the point of collection. The power consumption required in this design is 35.7 watts on standby, 42.84 watts when taking food, and 113.68 watts when the appliance is moving. Abstract

Toothache is a disease commonly experienced by humans, therefore must be treated immediately to prevent serious impact. One of the initial treatments is to consult a dental expert. Current technological developments have been able to transform an expert's knowledge into a digital form called an expert system for easy and fast access. Currently, most expert systems are based on the web and Android/iOS platforms. The development of an expert system based on web applications or Android/iOS faces several challenges. The challenge is that it requires a lot of development time and costs because it has to develop an interface and requires a server with good performance. The challenge faced from the user's side is that more storage space is needed to install an expert system on smartphones. The solution proposed in this study is to develop an expert dental disease diagnosis system using the Breadth First Search Method based on instant messaging. One of the most popular instant messaging in Indonesia is LINE Messenger. This research succeeded in developing a dental disease diagnosis expert system based on LINE Messenger that is easily accessible and capable of diagnosing diseases with an accuracy rate of 90.9%.

Abstract

Creating questions on an exam is a complex process, because this process requires knowledge and takes a long time to make. The process of creating questions can be done more easily, quickly, and structured with the Automatic Question Generator (AQG) system. This application uses the Text Matching Method to find keywords in a paragraph, where the Expected Answer Type (EAT) method would identify these keywords. The EAT method helped to identify the type of answers in a paragraph therefore the type of questions would be recognized. The types of questions used are 5W + 1H consisting of Who, Where, When, Why, What, How, and How Many.The next method is the Template Based Method which played a role in compiling the question sentence based on the pre-registered template. The questions were produced using the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy concept, where these questions consisted of categories (1) remembering; (2) understand; (3) apply; (4) analyze; (5) evaluate; and (6) create. The trial result in 14 learning materials, showed that the application could generate 826 questions with an average level of accuracy of 89%.

Abstract

Carbon monoxide is gas that harmful to health . Carbon monoxide is caused by motor vehicles that are not well maintened, so we need device can measure the levels of carbon monoxide. Measuring instrument created using sensor MQ - 7 based arduino uno R3 . Sensor MQ - 7 is a sensor sensitive to carbon monoxide , stable power supply 5 volts and can measure from 20-2000 ppm of carbon monoxide . Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country that has two seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season. During the dry season, the weather gets hot so AC technology (Air Conditioner) technology is really needed by the people of Indonesia. Every day, air conditioners are often used to cool the air, so the use of air conditioners is very routine in the dry season. Ac needs to be maintained regularly so that the AC is not easily damaged. Ac is divided into two parts, namely indoor and outdoor. Indoor and outdoor are connected through copper pipes which are freon gas lines. Freon gas will be pumped through the outdoor using a compressor engine to suppress the flow of freon gas so it flows into the evaporator section of the indoor and the compressor will suck the freon gas again to the condenser section on the outdoor because the compressor is the most important part in the air conditioner, the compressor must be routinely maintained by knowing the amperage performance on the compressor. So the purpose of this research is to monitor the performance of the compressor. This monitoring is done by installing a LANCAR (broken air conditioner notification service). LANCAR has three parts, namely electronics as a tool to detect compressor performance amperes, applications as notification media as well as for monitoring compressor amperes and database as compressor amperage data storage. Electronics used such as NodeMCU esp 8266, current sensor, vibration sensor and 1 channel relay module. These parts will be connected to the IoT (internet of things) system where the device is able to provide notifications when the compressor is damaged and the amperage data on the compressor will be stored in a database so that it can later be seen by the AC owner.

Abstract

Paper tinjauan literatur ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas kerangka kerja audit Teknologi Informasi (TI) dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi, dengan penekanan utama pada peran tata kelola TI dalam memastikan optimalitas pemanfaatan sumber daya teknologi di perguruan tinggi. Dampak dari pesatnya perkembangan Teknologi Informasi telah terasa secara signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, terutama di sektor pendidikan. Studi ini secara khusus melakukan evaluasi terhadap sejumlah framework audit TI yang umum digunakan, antara lain COBIT, ISO/IEC 27002:2013, COSO, ITIL V3, HCYMAF, TOGAF, dan CMMI. Metode penelitian melibatkan studi kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber terpercaya seperti Google Scholar, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, ResearchGate, JSTOR, dan Wiley Online Library. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan kepada pembaca melalui evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap keefektifan dari masing-masing framework audit dan didukung oleh studi kasus khusus yang mengilustrasikan aplikasinya dalam konteks perguruan tinggi. Analisis secara mendalam mencakup faktor-faktor kunci seperti keamanan, efisiensi, kepatuhan regulasi, dan kematangan keseluruhan dalam manajemen TI. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan wawasan yang lebih baik mengenai pentingnya pemilihan framework audit TI yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan unik dari setiap institusi. Oleh karena itu, paper ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi berharga dalam memperdalam pemahaman tentang peran framework audit TI dalam mengelola dan meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan teknologi informasi di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Abstract

Media sosial saat ini telah menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tidak hanya untuk kebutuhan pribadi melainkan bisa di gunakan dalam bisnis, serta banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan. Media sosial yang digunakan seperti Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Likenid, dan Whatsapp. Dengan adanya media sosial tersebut banyaknya data yang ada berupa gambar, comment berupa text atau emoticon, video, dan lainnya, sehingga masyarakat bebas beropini. Dengan adanya analisis sentimen opini yang berkembang dan banyak di media sosial tersebut dapat menghasilkan data dan informasi yang bermanfaat. Dalam analisis sentimen diperlukannya algoritma klasifikasi data diantaranya Naive Bayes Classifier, Support Vector Machine, K-NN, RNN, C4.5, Lexicon Based, LDA Based Topic Modeling, dan beberapa algoritma lainnya. Artikel ini menelaah beberapa literature analisis sentimen pada media sosial. Saat ini media sosial yang sering digunakan dalam analisis adalah Twitter dan pengguna algoritma yang dapat meningkatkan tingkat akurasi adalah algoritma Naive Bayes Classifier dan Support Vector Machine. Hasil perhitungan akurasi klasifikasi data berbeda-beda terlihat pada data uji pada penelitian tersebut.

Abstract

Aquaponics is one of the methods of farming in urban areas that produces fish and vegetables at the same time. One aspect that can improve the quality of aquaponics products such as catfish and water spinach in a short period of time is the addition of Internet of Things (IoT) systems. This technology allows farmers to automate work and monitor aquaponics media remotely. Before applying this technology, it is necessary to analyze to what extent each aquaponics system improves the quality of fish and vegetables. The purpose of this study is to compare the productivity of materials needed to grow catfish and water spinach in IoT-based aquaponics and conventional aquaponics. The parameters studied to support the results of the analysis are fish weight and vegetable weight after 14 days. The results show that the weight of fish and vegetables produced by IoT aquaponics is heavier than that produced by conventional aquaponics, which leads to a higher number of production units. It makes the IoT aquaponics productivity percentage value greater with a productivity difference of 112%, which indicates that the IoT aquaponics system manages the required materials more efficiently in a short period of time.
