Abstract

Mortar is a cementation material composed of sand and cement with added water. River and mountain sand are types of sand that are available in large quantities in Bengkulu City. This study aimed to determine the effect of grain fine modulus from river sand on the compressive strength of mortar compared to Curup Mountain Sand. The sand river used was Kembang Sri River Sand (MHB 2,91), Penanding (MHB 2,204), Lubuk Kebur (MHB 3,452), Talang Rasau (MHB 2,257) and Curup Mountain Sand (MHB 1,29). The ratio variation between cement and sand used was 1Pc : 4Ps, 1Pc : 5Ps and 1Pc : 6Ps. Each variation was made 6 cube samples with a side dimension of 50 mm. The test was done at the age of the sample 28 days. The initial flow of the mixture plan is 105-115%. The results obtained of the highest value of mortar compressive strength for the mixture of 1Pc : 4Ps and 1Pc : 6Ps was found in Curup Mountain Sand, which was 14,08 MPa and 7,77 MPa. The highest value of mortar compressive strength for 1Pc : 5Ps mixture was found in Talang Rasau River Sand, which was 11.43 MPa (120,44% compared to Mountain Sand). The 1Pc:4Ps and 1Pc:6Ps mixture of Talang Rasau River Sand has a strength of 87.64% and 93.17% compared to Mountain Sand. Kembang Sri River sand has the lowest mortar compressive strength value for each mixture of 1Pc : 4Ps, 1Pc : 5Ps and 1Pc : 6Ps, compared to the strength of mountain sand was 34,80%, 27,40% and 28,57%. On the average, river sand with the gradation in zone III can be used for mortar mixture, although its strength is still below that of mountain sand. Abstract

Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan desain generator magnet permanen satu fasa fluks aksial dengan stator ganda untuk meningkatkan daya yang dibangkitkan oleh generator. Generator didesain menggunakan 12 kutub sehingga dapat digunakan pada pada putaran rendah yang biasanya dapat dihasilkan oleh sumber-sumber energi terbarukan. Desain generator yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 piringan cakram berbahan besi (Fe) sebagai rangka stator sekaligus inti jangkar dan piringan rotor berbahan besi dengan magnet 12 permanen jenis neodymium (NdFeb) dengan susunan U-S yang ditanamkan pada slot yang dicetak pada inti ditempatkan diantara dua jangkar. Pada tiap inti jangkar masing-masing dipasangkan 12 kumparan kumparan. Dari hasil pengujian tanpa beban, tegangan output generator generator berubah secara linier dengan perubahan lebar celah udara. Dari hasil pengujian pada putaran 160 rpm, dihasilkan tegangan output tanpa beban sebesar 35,73 volt dan menurun secara linier dengan pertambahan lebar celah udara. Pada putaran 500 rpm, generator membangkitkan tegangan sebesar 87,6 volt pada frekuensi 50 Hz. Dari hasil pengujian, daya maksimum yang dihasilkan oleh generator berbanding lurus dengan pertambahan kecepatan.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek terpenting dalam meningkatkan daya saing Industri Kecil adalah pengelolaan rantai pasok. Permasalahan utama dalam rantai pasok Industri Kecil produk Rendang Tuna adalah belum adanya pemasok dan alokasi yang jelas dan terorganisir untuk menjamin kontinuitas pasokan ikan tuna. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan pasokan ikan tuna sebagai bahan baku utama untuk produksi rendang tuna yang meliputi pengembangan model pemilihan dan alokasi pemasok ikan tuna sehingga dapat meminimumkan total biaya pengadaan serta merumuskan strategi rantai pasok berbasis pengelolaan pemasok untuk meningkatkan daya saing Industri Kecil produk Rendang Tuna di Kota Padang. Model pemilihan dan alokasi pemasok dinamis dikembangkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Mixed Integer Quadratic Programming dan perumusan strategi rantai pasok dirumuskan berbasis optimisasi pasokan ikan tuna menggunakan analisis SWOT. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan model pemilihan dan alokasi pemasok dinamis dengan output model adalah keputusan pemilihan pemasok dan alokasi pasokan oleh setiap pemasok yang terpilih serta menghasilkan lima rumusan strategi rantai pasok berbasis optimisasi pasokan ikan tuna yang telah diurutkan berdasarkan prioritas untuk menjamin ketersediaan pasokan ikan tuna.

Abstract

Earthquakes are natural disasters that often hit Indonesia, causing various losses in human life, including damage to homes and places to live. Therefore, the importance of building earthquake-resistant houses cannot be ignored. The research aims to obtain a comparison of the estimated cost of a type 36 simple house construction project, by considering the comparison between conventional structures and structures that are strengthened to resist earthquakes. The data used involves working drawings, technical specifications, and work unit price analysis (AHSP) based on PUPR Ministerial Regulation No. 8 of 2023 and a list of unit prices for wages and materials for work in the Public Works and HSBGN sector for the 2022 fiscal year in the city of Padang. The cost estimation results show that for a simple house with a conventional structure, the construction cost is IDR 243,000,000, while for a simple house with earthquake-resistant reinforcement, the cost reaches IDR 251,800,000. This additional cost was caused by strengthening work on foundations, columns and beams, walls, and trusses. Even though there was an increase in costs of around 3.63%, this result can be a consideration for the community. It is important to realize that with relatively small additional costs, people can increase safety and comfort in building construction. The results of this research can be a strong basis for stakeholders in the construction and policy fields to consider safety and comfort as the main factors in developing housing infrastructure.

Abstract

Organic waste needs to be processed so as not to pollute the environment. Processing of organic waste can be done through composting. This study aims to see the effect of composting method using BSF larvae and composting using takakura method on the quality and quantity of compost produced. The variety of waste types in this study consisted of variations A (65% vegetable waste + 35% fruit waste) and B (60% vegetable waste + 40% food waste). Bioconversion using BSF larvae aged 7 days with bidaily litter as much as 0.5 kg for 14 days. The results of the analysis of the quantity, maturity, and quality of variations A1, A2, B1 and B2 meet compost standards according to SNI 19-7030-2004. The most optimal variation of the study (A2 variation). This variation produces compost for (20 days), the quality of physical and macro elements has met the quality standards of domestic waste compost and the quantity of compost produced is more than 1.10 kg.

Dari hasil pengujian, daya maksimum yang dihasilkan oleh generator berbanding lurus dengan pertambahan kecepatan.

Abstract

Trans Padang is an integrated highway bus system in Padang City that has operated since January 2014. Buses run every day from 06.00 WIB to 19.00 WIB. No literature has been cited. Trans Padang Corridor VI Bus serves the corridor Andalas University to the city center, and the route distance is ±13. 14 km. In this research, a study was carried out to determine whether the operations of the Trans Padang Corridor VI Bus were following the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation No. SK.687/AJ.206/DRJD/2002. Six parameters were studied: load factor, headway, waiting time, travel time, stopping time at bus stops, bus speed, and bus fleets. Two methods were used to collect data: a dynamic and static survey. dynamic survey was carried out to record the departure and arrival times of buses at each bus stop, the number of passengers getting on and off, the distance traveled by the bus, the bus route, the bus stop, the bus travel time, and the bus stopping time. static survey is carried out to record the arrival and departure times of buses at certain stops. The study results show that only the waiting time parameters follow the technical instructions; the existing waiting time is 6.03, and in the technical instructions, the waiting time is set at 5-10 minutes.

Abstract

In the face of the Revolution industry 4.0, global connection, artificial intelligence, and automation have disrupted technology. This made the industrial world's development in work competition, not linear and even created new jobs. Digital talent and innovation are needed to face the world of work. This study discusses the construct effect between digital talent, individual innovation behavior, and Skills Revolution Industry 4.0, and the effect of Skills Revolution Industry 4.0) as a mediator to digital talent constructs' relationship. Data collection is obtained directly (face to face). Samples were previously clustered by sampling technique. Questionnaires use the Likert Scale. Then, the data gotten were processed by SEM-PLS with Software 3.8.2. The result showed that digital talent has a positive effect on individual innovation behavior. This meant that skill of revolution industry 4.0 as a construct mediator was successful. The stronger digital talent influences, the stronger individual innovation behavior influences, and it is accelerated with revolution industry skills 4. This study proposes a model to build mastery of digital talent and individual innovation behavior of Universitas Andalas students through the mastery of skills of revolution 4.0 as a mediator. This research can pave the way to improve students' readiness in facing the world of revolution 4.0, one of which is in the field of digital innovation.

Abstract

Revolution of industry 4.0 initiated by the German government, starting from the development of individual innovation behavior especially in the fields of robotics, digital technology, and information, has caused distortions to the future skills requirements. Some of the skills needed a lot in the past are now starting to experience a shift towards less needed. Some are even unnecessary because they are replaced by automation and robots. The emergence of several new skills (skills 4.0) that are more dominant is needed to make every interested party to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0. Students are one of the interested parties who will face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0 after they graduates from the formal higher education. This study determines the readiness of students in facing the revolution of industry 4.0, influenced by the mastery of skills 4.0 and individual innovation behavior with their innovation behavior as a mediating variable. Respondents in this study are 233 undergraduate students of the Andalas University. Using a cluster sampling technique, the data is collected using Likert scale based- questionnaire after which calculations are then performed using the Smart-PLS Program software 3.2.8. The results show that skills 4.0 and individual innovation behavior have a positive effect on students' readiness in facing the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0. It implies that the students need to improve their mastery of skills 4.0 in order to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0.

Abstract

Crumb rubber industry only depends on one main raw material that is called Bahan Olah Karet (Bokar). Based on the observation of several crumb rubber factories in West Sumatera, the company still uses an unsystematic way of choosing the suppliers of bokar. The weakening of the supplier’s supervision system causes bokar that received by the company, in terms of quality and quantity are not met properly. The way to solve these issues is to develop a fuzzy model for supplier assessment of bokar. The first step is the identification of criteria using FDM. Then developing a mathematical model. This research has been successfully developed a mathematical model where FAHP is used to determine the weight of supplier assessment criteria, combined with signed distance at the defuzzification stage. While FTOPSIS is used to obtain suppliers ranking. Through the survey using FDM, we obtain 6 main criteria and 18 subcriteria which relevant to the conditions of the crumb rubber industry in West Sumatera.
