Abstract

In practice the access point can not always cover the maximum range of distance due to signal wave propagation in the room, such as reflection, alteration, or scattering of signals. For the purpose of implementation optimization, this study aims to obtain characteristics of signal level quality and throughput at the Dishubkominfo Building of Badung Regency. The indoor propagation analysis of WLAN IEEE 802.11g is based on 3 models of measurement ie without barrier, wall barrier, and floor barrier. The result of the highest signal level measurement is -40 dBm, while the lowest signal level is -85 dBm. Maximum throughput measurement results 8.05 Mbps, from the maximum available bandwidth of 10 Mbps. While the coverage area based on testers using the software to adjust the floor plan on the building, almost in accordance with the calculation of signal level.

Abstract

Arowana fish farming sector is one sector that can support the economy of Indonesia society. But most fish farmers in Indonesia are still using conventional procedures for the cultivation of fish that can cause a variety of losses. In this study offered a solution in the form of a simulation design of an Arowana Fish Nurseries Monitoring System-Based on The Iot Scheme using Cisco Packet Tracer 7.0 Application as a Simulator. In the designing process, the monitoring system will be split into two sub system such as security system and arowana aquaculture support system. There are four kind of sensor that can be used in the simulation process such as CO2 Detector, Temperature Monitor, Motion Detector, and Water Level Monitor. If the sensor detects a value that does not match the specified parameter then the attenuator of the sensor will react according to the conditions set through the condition setting. Information generated by these devices will then be sent to the server, then to access information and monitor the devices can be done through a web server that has been available. The result from this study is that the simulation can run well but there are still shortcomings because of the limitations of the simulator used so it is expected that in the next version of simulator the limitations can be overcome

Abstract

MSAN atau Multi Service Acces Node adalah sebuah teknologi perangkat akses yang sejalan dengan next generation network yang berbasis IP dan broadband access dengan jaringan akses kabel tembaga dan fiber optic. Penelitian ini akan membahas kualitas jaringan MSAN pada layanan IPTV di daerah Denpasar, Bali mengacu pada topologi jaringan dan standarisasi yang ditetapkan. Parameter yang akan dianalisis yaitu SNR, attenuation, dan Attainable rate. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan hasil untuk nilai SNR 11,5 sampai 48,1 dB. Pada attenuation dikatakan baik yaitu 1,3 sampai dengan 22 dB. Sedangkan untuk nilai attainable rate berada pada rentang 8840 sampai 28120 Kbps. Dengan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa MSAN PT.Telkom mampu memberikan layanan yang baik pada pelanggan di daerah Denpasar, Bali.

Abstract

Remote control switching system is used to control the switching of the electrical and electronic appliances from a distance. This remote serves to facilitate the use of the switching of electrical, and electronic appliances for people with disabilities, and the elderly. This paper develops a remote control system using radio frequency technology utilizing the principle of wireless system. The remote control system is constructed by RF433 module as the transmitter, and receiver, IC HT12E module as the encoder, and IC HT12D module as the decoder. To achieve the aim of this research: a transmitter system is designed to transmit a signal when the keypad is pressed; a receiver system is designed to receive the signal from the transmitter system, then the system will turn on and turn off the loads. Based on experimental results, this design system is capable to turn on and turn off the loads with a transmission distance up to 18 meters, without obstruction, and 15 meters with obstruction.

Abstract

With the evolution in this digital era, many industrial organizations and companies have begun to move towards digitization to increase the company's business opportunities. Data is something that is very useful in a company's business. If the dataprocessed correctly can provide a variety of information needed by the company to continue to grow. Now Data also becomes digital and data processing have many techniques and can provide us with a decision support for the information generated by the data. The data processing is usually called Data Warehouse. In running a business, business owners must certainly analyze a number of things so that the business continues to run and grow, including one of which is a fabric business in Bali, namely CV Phalani Bali. CV Phalani Bali still needs a centralized system that integrates sales data from online stores and offline stores, therefore a data warehouse is needed that can help manage all these data and make it a new information needed by CV Phalani Bali. With the data warehouse, it can help the owner of CV Phalani Bali in reporting and historical information of the business they run. Helps manage historical data and provides strategic information to support evaluation and take decision analysis at the executive level. So one of the data warehouse design methods is used, is the Powell method. This Powell method focuses on the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process to become a data warehouse that is ready to be processed by OLAP (Online Analytical Processing). This Powell method will be assisted by Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence as a tool that will design and process the sales data into a data warehouse that will produce the information needed by CV Phalani Bali for analyze and make decisions to bring cv phalani bali even more advanced.

Abstract

Bale Gong is a very important building in the temple. This is because every ceremony at the temple is accompanied by a gamelan gong. In every piodalan ceremony at Sindetan Temple always make a tent for the Bale Gong. Tents that are installed are usually made of materials that are easily damaged, namely bamboo, coconut leaves, and tie rope. In making these tents, it takes a lot of people who have expertise and cost of making the tent is quite expensive. After completing the ceremony, the tent is dismantled where the materials cannot be reused at the next piodalan ceremony. This is because these materials will break down quickly. The solution to this problem and at the same time is the goal of this service is in the form of innovation in making tents from strong and durable materials. The materials that will be used are iron and cloth. This iron is used instead of bamboo and cloth is used instead of slepan and tie rope. The final result of this service is has designed and made tent that are strong, aesthetic, comfortable, and easy to assemble and disassemble. The tents that have been made are installed in Bale Gong and then handed over to the residents of Sindetan Temple. Keywords: Bale Gong, Sindetan Temple, tent, design, strong, aesthetic.

Abstract

To find out the need for fiber optic access network devices from NOC to rooms at Udayana University, Sudirman Campus, fiber to the home network design was made with Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology. Selection of GPON technology to reduce the number of ports on OLT and the number of fiber cores compared to the existing technology using point to point. Assuming the bitrate in each room is 21 Mbps and 291 rooms to be served, it takes 5 OLT ports on the NOC. Feeder Cable Network consists of 5 cores distributed to each location using 3 units of 1: 4 splitter, 4 units of 1: 8 splitter, 6 units of 1:16 splitter, 1:32 splitter of 6 units. To maintain service quality, 16 amplifiers are needed. The required fiber cable length is 2.5 km. The quality of service is tested using the Optisystem simulator. The result is that at the closest distance the PRx value is -14.059 dBm, with BER 6.13608 e-103, Q Factor 21.511. Meanwhile, at the farthest distance, the PRx value is -14.105 dBm, with BER of 1.52751 e-120, and Q Factor 23.3159. The results obtained still meet the ITU-T G.984.2 standard

Abstract

Tri Pramana as the local genius of Balinese society, is now adopted in the education system. This adaptation results in a Learning Cycle Model which essentially consists of three classes namely Sabda Pramana (theoretical study), Pratyaksa Pramana (direct observation), and Anumana Pramana (practicum). In learning activities, it is difficult for educators to fully observe individuals to find out the most suitable learning model. Through Virtual Environment Technology, educators can observe students more freely through the recording of students' activities. However, in its implementation, manual analysis requires large resources. Deep Learning approach based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is able to automate this analysis process through the classification ability of the image of the recorded learner activity. To produce a robust CNN model, this research compares four of the most commonly used architectures, namely ResNet-50, MobileNetV2, InceptionV3, and Xception. Each architecture is tuned using a combination of learning rate and batch size. Through a 512 x 512 resolution dataset with 70% training subset (4,541 images), 20% validation (1,296 images), and 10% test (652 images), the best ResNet model is obtained with a learning rate configuration of 1e-3 and batch size 64 with an accuracy of 99.39%, precision of 99.37%, and recall of 99.42%.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi Deep Learning khususnya teknologi pengenalan gambar merupakan suatu media yang tepat digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi citra digital. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan klasifikasi citra jajanan khas Bali dengan mencari model terbaik dari arsitektur VGG-16 dengan melakukan perbandingan tingkat akurasi, recall, precission dan f1-score dari skenario pengujian yaitu bobot dropout, jumlah batch size dan jumlah epoch yang digunakan. Dataset training yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2.445 data citra jajanan khas Bali dengan total kelas sebanyak 10 kelas yaitu Klepon 320 citra, Laklak 207 citra, Kaliadrem 222 citra, Jaje Lukis 327 citra, Jaje Batun Bedil 189 citra, Pisang Rai 200 citra, Jaje Piling-piling 234 citra, Jaje Wajik 241 citra, Ongol-ongol 308 citra dan Bubur Injin 197 citra. Dataset sebanyak 50 data citra jajanan khas Bali pada setiap kelasnya dengan jumlah total 500 data citra. Model terbaik yang didapatkan dari arsitektur VGG-16 dalam melakukan klasifikasi jajanan khas Bali yaitu dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 97,5%, presisi 87,9%, recall 87% serta f1-score sebesar 87,4% dengan parameter pengujian dropout 20%, batch size 64 serta epoch 1000 pada data citra uji diluar data pelatihan dan validasi.

Abstract

In the context of fiber optic network implementation, the function of techno-economic analysis is to evaluate the costs and benefits of implementing fiber optic networks, as well as to determine the feasibility and success of the approaches to be compared in building and operating the network. Net present value (NPV), and internal rate of return (IRR) are some of the methods commonly used by investors to quantitatively evaluate the potential for technology implementation and make informed decisions about whether the investment is worth making. Consider the number of interested parties and the availability of existing backbone network. In Jembrana Regency, the Gilimanuk cluster plan produces an NPV and IRR of IDR 431,608,386 and 24.27% respectively. Meanwhile, for Tabanan Regency, Plan Cluser Marga produces NPV and IRR of IDR 853,682,479 and 35.83% respectively.
