Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of verbal reinforcement in the form of praise on students' learning motivation in the Pancasila Education subject in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Kampung Rakyat in the 2024-2025 Academic Year. The approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that verbal reinforcement in the form of praise has a significant effect on increasing students' learning motivation, the results of a simple linear regression equation are obtained as follows: Y = 43.345 + 0.408X1. Based on these calculations, it can be seen that the linear regression coefficient value of the Verbal Reinforcement (Praise) variable (X) is 0.408 with a positive sign at sig 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05. So, it can be interpreted that Verbal Reinforcement (Praise) (X) has a positive effect on the Pancasila Education Learning Motivation of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Kampung Rakyat (Y). This shows that with every good Verbal Reinforcement (Praise) (X), there will be an increase in the Motivation to Learn Pancasila Education of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Kampung Rakyat 0.408. This finding indicates that the use of verbal reinforcement such as praise can be an effective strategy for teachers in increasing student learning motivation, especially in the subject of Pancasila Education. Therefore, verbal reinforcement is recommended as part of teaching practices to create a positive learning environment and support student development holistically

Abstract

Prevention of DM complications is very important, and patient motivation to maintain health plays a key role in disease management. Lack of knowledge about DM and its complications, as well as poor family support, can hinder effective prevention and management efforts. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and family support on motivation to prevent complications of diabetes mellitus at Toboali Regional Hospital, South Bangka Regency in 2024. This study used a cross-sectional study design. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 103 DM patients at Toboali Regional Hospital, South Bangka Regency on October 23 - November 18, 2024. The collected data were then analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. The results of this study prove that there is a relationship between knowledge factors (p-value = 0.000) and family support (p-value = 0.000) on motivation to prevent complications of diabetes mellitus at Toboali Regional Hospital, South Bangka Regency in 2024. For hospitals, it is expected to form counseling services for patients and families in order to build better communication and increase emotional and practical support. This assistance can be carried out by nurses or health workers who are trained in providing motivation and diabetes management strategiesKeywords : Diabetes Mellitus, Family Support, Motivation, Knowledge.

Abstract

SCPC (Signal Carrier Per Carrier) is a priority VSAT service that requires continuous frequency signal monitoring to ensure network stability. Currently, this monitoring is performed using a web-based decimator device. However, the monitoring data still requires manual processing to create reports and analyses, which is inefficient and time-consuming. This study developed a web-based dashboard monitoring system that automates the processing of C/N (Carrier to Noise) data for SCPC products at PT. PI. The system was tested using a task scheduler for 14 hours with 30-minute intervals, recording a longest processing time of 16.665 seconds with 11,812 data points, 60.6% RAM usage, and 36.9% CPU usage, and a shortest processing time of 4.026 seconds with 3,546 data points, 53.9% RAM usage, and 39.7% CPU usage. The proposed web application successfully displays historical graphs, total remote counts, databases, top 10 under C/N, tables, and reports, as initially designed. The average dashboard loading time to complete data display is approximately 9.894 seconds. This system is expected to improve the efficiency of SCPC monitoring and provide faster, more accurate reporting.Bahasa Indonesia Abstract:SCPC (Signal Carrier Per Carrier) adalah layanan VSAT prioritas yang memerlukan monitoring sinyal frekuensi secara terus-menerus untuk memastikan kestabilan jaringan. Saat ini, monitoring dilakukan melalui perangkat decimator berbasis web; namun, pengolahan data monitoring menjadi laporan dan analisis masih harus dilakukan secara manual, yang tidak efisien dan memakan waktu. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem dashboard monitoring berbasis web yang mampu mengotomatisasi pengolahan data C/N (Carrier to Noise) pada produk SCPC di PT. PI. Sistem ini diuji menggunakan task scheduler selama 14 jam dengan interval 30 menit, di mana waktu proses terlama tercatat 16,665 detik dengan 11.812 data, penggunaan RAM 60,6%, dan CPU 36,9%; sementara waktu tercepat adalah 4,026 detik dengan 3.546 data, penggunaan RAM 53,9%, dan CPU 39,7%. Aplikasi web berhasil menampilkan grafik historis, total remote, basis data, top 10 di bawah C/N, tabel, dan laporan sesuai desain awal. Waktu rata-rata yang dibutuhkan dashboard untuk memuat data hingga selesai adalah sekitar 9,894 detik. Pengembangan sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi monitoring SCPC dan memberikan laporan yang lebih cepat dan akurat.

Abstract

Considering the beauty and unique characteristics of goldfish as ornamental fish, keeping goldfish in an aquarium is a popular hobby among the community. However, some people face challenges in maintaining goldfish that must be controlled manually. In this work, the author proposes to create a water quality control system for goldfish aquariums using fuzzy logic. This system uses the E-201-C pH sensor to measure the water's pH level, the SEN-0189 turbidity sensor to detect water turbidity, an ultrasonic sensor to maintain water height, and the ESP32 as the microcontroller. In the pH control, a mini pump is used, which activates when the pH level is >9 to lower the water's pH to the set point. Meanwhile, for controlling water turbidity, two 12V DC pumps are used, where one pump functions to discharge turbid water and the other to fill with clean water. The data read by the sensor can be monitored through the OLED screen. Based on the test results, the water quality control system for the goldfish aquarium using the fuzzy method can function well. Meanwhile, the water draining process takes 5 minutes and 20 seconds, and the clean water filling takes about 15 minutes and 24 seconds.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) dalam pembentukan sikap tanggung jawab siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Marbau, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru PPKn berperan penting dalam membentuk sikap tanggung jawab siswa melalui berbagai strategi, seperti pemberian contoh teladan, pengintegrasian nilai-nilai moral dalam pembelajaran, serta pengelolaan lingkungan kelas yang kondusif. Selain itu, penerapan metode diskusi, studi kasus, dan proyek kelompok mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap pentingnya tanggung jawab dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan meliputi dukungan dari lingkungan sekolah dan kerjasama dengan orang tua. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran guru PPKn dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang bertanggung jawab sebagai bagian dari pendidikan karakter di sekolah.

Abstract

This research outlines a comprehensive five-phase approach based on the ADDIE instructional design framework to enhance English language teaching at ISCO learning centers. Needs analysis identified challenges such as traditional methods, limited digital tool integration, and varying tutor preparedness. In response, a comprehensive, technology-integrated English syllabus was developed, featuring monthly thematic units and a simplified ESA structure, accommodating both digital and offline tools. Pilot testing and training phases equipped tutors with skills in digital tool usage and modern pedagogical strategies. Initial tutor feedback was positive regarding clarity, structure, language, activity variety, and material practicality in low-resource settings. While digital infrastructure and scheduling constraints were identified, the project successfully developed a curriculum framework and trained tutors for more interactive and relevant English teaching, aligning with ISCO's needs and moral development goals.Keywords: English language teaching, syllabus design, digital based learning
