Abstract

Assessment plays an essential role in decision-making related to student success, especially in the Independent Curriculum, which encourages a holistic assessment approach. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the skills of SMA/SMK/MA teachers in Leihitu District in compiling alternative assessments that are able to evaluate various aspects of student competency. This PKM was carried out for two days with training and mentoring methods. The activities were divided into two parts, namely two-day training and the second part was mentoring in compiling assessments. The results of this training showed an increase in teachers' ability to compile alternative assessments from the sufficient category to the good category. This finding confirms that the PKM activity has succeeded in improving teachers' ability to compile alternative assessments in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. These results show the importance of ongoing training for teachers to support the implementation of more effective assessments in accordance with the Independent Curriculum, which ultimately strengthens the quality of decisions related to student learning development.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to improve learning outcomes using the Inquiry learning model and Analogy Concept on Uniform Linear Motion and Uniform Circular Motion in students of SMA Negeri 4 Leihitu, Central Maluku Regency. The type of research is descriptive quantitative with one group pre-test post-test design. Analysis average normalized gain based on the initial and final test scores. The initial test results showed that all students (100%) were in the failed qualification. The lowest student achievement score is 2.63, and the highest is 18.42, with an average of 10.23. This condition indicates that students do not yet have the initial ability on Uniform Linear Motion and Uniform Circular Motion substance. After applying the Inquiry learning model and Analogy Concept in the teaching and learning process, the average score of the students' final test results was 89.18, which was in suitable qualification with the lowest score of 71.05 and the highest 97.37. Based on the average normalized gain analysis, the average normalized gain obtained 0.88, which is in the high category. This study indicates that the Inquiry learning model makes students more active in exploring knowledge to get information to solve problems given by educators so that students' memory of the substance is longer. In addition, teachers succeeded in instilling Uniform Linear Motion as the base domain, making it easier for students to understand Uniform Circular Motion as the target domain. Proves that using the Inquiry learning model with the Analogy Concept can change the activity and increase students' knowledge towards a better direction.

Abstract

Smartphone-based experimental equipment has been successfully developed for measuring a straight motion at a constant velocity. Read the data that comes out on the smartphone using the Accelerator Monitor software. The data is in graphic form. From the graph, it can be seen that the acceleration is zero. Furthermore vary the displacement distance, which is 100 cm and 130 cm to measure the velocity of the toy cars. The results showed that the time taken was 5 seconds and 6.5 seconds respectively for a displacement of 100 cm and 130 cm. The calculation of the velocity value for both displacements is the same value of 20 cm⁄s. This shows that the velocity value is constant which is equal to the graph results showing zero acceleration.

Abstract

An instrument for measuring I-V characteristics and determination of the dynamic resistance of a Silicon 1n4002 diode based on Arduino Mega 2560 has been successfully developed. This measurement was carried out by increasing the bias voltage periodically from 0 V to 5 V and observing the resulting forward voltage and forward current for each increase in the bias voltage. There is an increase in current when the diode voltage reaches 0.7 V, which is the diode barrier voltage. This happens if the limit resistor installed in the circuit is 100 Ω. The largest dynamic resistance value is 593.069 Ω, which is below the forward voltage of 0.6 V. Furthermore, the smallest dynamic resistance value is 2.293 Ω which is above the forward voltage of 0.7 V. The greater the value of the current flowing in the diode circuit, the smaller the dynamic resistance value of the diode and the smaller the value of the current flowing, the greater the dynamic resistance of the diode.
