Abstract

This community service program (PKM) has the aim of implementing the development of a creative problem solving (CPS) learning model using...Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring(REACT) in science learning that is produced towards aspects of improving student achievement, support for the implementation of junior high school science teacher duties, especially in student-oriented learning design in combining theory and practice, implementing practicums and evaluating science learning outcomes in Southeast Maluku Regency. The expected benefits in this PKM are to motivate teachers to be creative in designing and preparing learning devices in the classroom and laboratory that are oriented towards students based on the environment, so that the learning process can take place properly. While for students, it can provide a clear understanding of the material presented by the teacher, so that students are able to find explanations and provide responses to what they are learning. In addition, students are trained to find out for themselves what they observe and try to describe the concept through student worksheets prepared with the help of the CPS learning model using REACT. Therefore, the CPS learning model using REACT in science learning that is designed is collaborated with several methods, namely reflective lectures, discovery, inquiry, demonstrations and questions and answers and recitations to express various concepts that are being studied in class and can be applied in everyday life

Abstract

Community Service (PkM) activities were carried out by providing training to teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Maluku Tengah in Waitomu Hamlet-Negeri Hila. This activity aims to provide insight into the development of teacher professionalism, more specifically how deep the application of CRT in learning activities at school. This activity is expected to encourage teachers to improve their competence and motivation to become professional teachers. The activity was carried out in a structured and systematic manner in the form of providing in-depth material for teachers. The result of the community service is that subject teachers can develop learning tools based on local wisdom, namely CRT, which utilizes the surrounding environment as a learning resource. In addition, 100% of teachers like this activity, this is because there are many training activities both from the center and local governments, but CRT-based training activities are rarely delivered and are even new to teachers. The school hopes that lecturers can continue to provide assistance and training for teachers at SMA Negeri 6 Maluku Tengah by sharing new things so that they can apply them in learning. By embracing CRT in learning, it can create an inclusive, interesting, and empowering learning experience that meets the various needs of all students and helps close the gap in learning

Abstract

Assessment plays an essential role in decision-making related to student success, especially in the Independent Curriculum, which encourages a holistic assessment approach. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the skills of SMA/SMK/MA teachers in Leihitu District in compiling alternative assessments that are able to evaluate various aspects of student competency. This PKM was carried out for two days with training and mentoring methods. The activities were divided into two parts, namely two-day training and the second part was mentoring in compiling assessments. The results of this training showed an increase in teachers' ability to compile alternative assessments from the sufficient category to the good category. This finding confirms that the PKM activity has succeeded in improving teachers' ability to compile alternative assessments in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. These results show the importance of ongoing training for teachers to support the implementation of more effective assessments in accordance with the Independent Curriculum, which ultimately strengthens the quality of decisions related to student learning development.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to improve learning outcomes using the Inquiry learning model and Analogy Concept on Uniform Linear Motion and Uniform Circular Motion in students of SMA Negeri 4 Leihitu, Central Maluku Regency. The type of research is descriptive quantitative with one group pre-test post-test design. Analysis average normalized gain based on the initial and final test scores. The initial test results showed that all students (100%) were in the failed qualification. The lowest student achievement score is 2.63, and the highest is 18.42, with an average of 10.23. This condition indicates that students do not yet have the initial ability on Uniform Linear Motion and Uniform Circular Motion substance. After applying the Inquiry learning model and Analogy Concept in the teaching and learning process, the average score of the students' final test results was 89.18, which was in suitable qualification with the lowest score of 71.05 and the highest 97.37. Based on the average normalized gain analysis, the average normalized gain obtained 0.88, which is in the high category. This study indicates that the Inquiry learning model makes students more active in exploring knowledge to get information to solve problems given by educators so that students' memory of the substance is longer. In addition, teachers succeeded in instilling Uniform Linear Motion as the base domain, making it easier for students to understand Uniform Circular Motion as the target domain. Proves that using the Inquiry learning model with the Analogy Concept can change the activity and increase students' knowledge towards a better direction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of summative physics test questions for the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year in class X MIA2 students at SMA Kristen 1 Amahai, Central Maluku Regency, as a learning evaluation tool. The analysis results show that in preparing the questions, educators have been 100% guided by the assessment planning standards set by the BSNP. In addition, the rules for writing multiple-choice questions have been fulfilled 97%. On the other hand, the fulfillment of the criteria for good items from the validity criteria has reached 75% in the very valid and valid categories. Furthermore, the test reliability correlation coefficient is 0.64 in the high category, the difficulty level of the questions with a ratio of 4.5:4:1.5, the discriminatory power in the moderate and good categories was 95%, and the distractor function was 85% in the very good and good categories. Based on the results of the analysis showed that the questions were appropriate to be used as a learning evaluation tool.

Abstract

The research aimed to produce a physics student worksheet (LKS) on vibrations and waves using guided inquiry-based methods. The research conducted refers to the modification of the LKS development model using the 4-D model. Respondents as test subjects in this study consisted of 9 students in class VIII1 on a small scale and 22 students in class VIII3 on a large scale. Based on the results of the research conducted, the eligibility validation results for the LKS were classified as very feasible with an average score of 3.7%, and could be used as a study guide. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of the legibility of worksheets, both on small-scale and large-scale trials, were classified as high criteria or easily understood by students with an average percentage of acquisition scores on a small scale of 63% and a large scale of 67%. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of student responses to the development of LKS used during the learning process both on a small scale and on a large scale are in very good qualifications with an average acquisition score on a small scale of 92.45% and a large scale of 94.61%. The results of this study indicate that the development of worksheets based on the guided inquiry learning model can make students more active in obtaining information to solve problems given by the teacher so that vibration and wave material can be understood properly.

Abstract

Research has been successfully carried out using the flipped classroom model assisted by YouTube videos on the concepts of work and energy. This study aims to determine the increasing mastery of the concept. The research sample was class X MIA6 SMA Negeri 11 Ambon, even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, which consisted of 32 students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Increased mastery of students' concepts in the high category 96.875% of students and 3.125% of students in the medium category. The average increase in N Gain is 0.80 or in the high category.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mastery of the concept of elasticity and Hooke's law in class XI IPA-1 SMA Negeri 6 Ambon with a cooperative learning model of think pair share type. This type of research is descriptive research with one group pretest-posttest design. The students used as samples in this study were 23 people obtained using a random sampling technique. Research data were collected using test instruments in the form of initial tests and final tests. The results showed that 100% of students' initial concept mastery ability was in the failing category, with an average score of 8,43. After applying the learning model, the average final test score is 91,48 with very good qualifications. This condition causes the average result of the N-Gain test to be an indicator of increasing students' concept mastery to 0,91 in the high category. Thus, using the cooperative learning model type think pair share can improve the mastery of elasticity and Hooke's law in class XI IPA SMAN 6 Ambon students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in mastery of Energy material by implementing a guided inquiry model for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 60 Central Maluku. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Research subjects are people who provide information regarding the data that researchers want related to the research data being carried out. The subjects in this research were 12 students in class VIII. The data in this research was collected through test instruments in the form of initial tests and final tests and non-test instruments in the form of student worksheets (LKPD). The results of this research show that in the initial test, 12 (100%) students were in the failed qualification with an average achievement score of 13.8. The results of data analysis during the learning process show that the average achievement score for students' cognitive abilities is 90 with very good qualifications. The final test results showed that as many as 8 (66.7%) students were in very good qualifications, as many as 3 (25%) students were in good qualifications and as many as 1 (8.3%) students were in sufficient qualifications, with The average achievement score of students on the final test after the learning process is 87.62 with very good qualifications. For the N-Gain test results, the average student achievement score was 0.86 with high qualifications. Thus, it can be concluded that applying the guided inquiry model can increase mastery of energy material in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 60 Central Maluku.

Abstract

Lurus Beraturan (GLB) practicum outside the laboratory. The trial was conducted in the form of a practicum carried out in elevators and on escalators using smartphones. To read the data from the smartphones, acceleration monitor software was used, where the measurement data is displayed graphically. Before trialing the practicum module, validation was carried out by two media experts with an average feasibility percentage of 96.25% and two material experts with an average feasibility percentage of 95.66%, both of which were declared valid. The module was then tested on 25 students from the Physics Education Study Program, class of 2022, to measure the students' understanding of the GLB concept. The research results show that students were able to understand the material and solve the given problems contained in the module. This is evident from the average initial practicum task score obtained by the students, which was 77.8 with a good category. Meanwhile, the average student score for the tasks after the practicum was 89.6, categorized as very good, and the average score for data analysis and graph interpretation was 81.
