Abstract

Video tutorials are teaching media that can facilitate student learning activities because of their effectiveness and efficiency. The research has the following objectives: 1). the feasibility level of digital motif design video tutorials 2). student learning outcomes after being shown a video tutorial on designing digital motifs. The study employs the ADDIE R&D (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) research approach, utilising a one-shot case study research design. The study was conducted from May to November 2023. the study involved 32 students from Clothing Class 1 at SMKN 8 Surabaya. These six students participated in a limited trial. The research also involved two media experts from Surabaya State University and two material experts from SMKN 8 Surabaya lecturers. Collection methods include level evaluation processes such as video tutorials and assignment grading. The form of conformity evaluation of assignment sheets and learning videos serves as a research tool. Using a descriptive data analysis method, the average effectiveness of learning video services and categorise the learning outcomes based on CTF. Results of this study stated: 1. The development of video tutorials for designing digital motifs was declared feasible to implement with a total score of 4.6. The average score of material experts is 4.4, and media experts 4.8 2. Based on the results of class tests, we can resolve using video tutorial media to create digital motif designs as learning.

Abstract

The creation of this work is based on a type of practice-led research approach carried out through a fashion design practice studio with a focus on "Penciptaan Raedy to Wear Deluxe dengan Manipulating Fabric Slashing Terinspirasi dari Golden Sunrise of Bromo". This creative practice study aims to convey the creativity of fashion design which can increase the repertoire of forms and types of clothing that are different from previously existing clothing. This work was inspired by the golden sunrise of Bromo which has its own uniqueness in terms of beautiful and unique visuals and is still very minimally applied or realized as an inspiration for the concept of work by a previous designer. To achieve this goal, the method used in making this work goes through four stages, namely: pre-design, design, embodiment, and presentation by applying the technique of manipulating fabric slashing to the clothing so that it can add creative and aesthetic value to the clothing. The results of this creation process were 2 ready to wear deluxe works which were presented in the form of a fashion show at the 34th Annual UNESA Fashion Show "BHUMIBRAMA" using an outdoor on the floor fashion show presentation technique.

Abstract

Gandrung Dance is an art form dominated by dance with a typical orchestra popular in the Banyuwangi area. Gandrung dance has also become a dance for welcoming guests at various arts events as well as state events, so it is not wrong that Banyuwangi is often nicknamed the City of Gandrung. Evening wear is evening party clothing using high quality materials complete with decorative accessories to make the clothing look luxurious. Based on wanting to introduce more about Gandrung dance ornaments and clothing which have high cultural and artistic value through the stylization process into evening dresses that can depict the beauty of Gandrung dance in the form of evening wear. The aim of this research is to describe the process and results of creating evening wear designs using embroidered gajah oling motifs and sequins using the idea of the Gandrung Banyuwangi dance. This research includes creation or development research, which uses the Practice-Ied Research method, which consists of 4 stages, including: (1) Pre-design, (2) Design, (3) Realization, (4) Presentation. The results of this research show that: (1) the process of creating evening wear designs using the idea of the Gandrung Banyuwangi dance as a source (2) The results of the creation are 3 evening wear consisting of 2 female evening wear designs and 1 male evening wear design, for women there are 2 looks where the look 1 there are 3 pieces consisting of a span skirt, draped skirt, bustier, capuchon shawl, the 2nd look consists of a bustier and a puffed skirt, the male fashion look is a vest and trousers.

Abstract

Jaranan Jaranan Buto folk dance originates from Banyuwangi and refers to the story of Palawan Minakjinggo in the battle against Kebo Mawet. This art is created from the mixture of osing culture with mataraman kingdom. Casual fashion is clothing that is simple, practical, comfortable to wear, and has a loose size and is used in everyday life. Jaranan Buto's clothing has a similar shape to casual clothing. To further introduce the culture of the Osing tribe, this Jaranan Buto fashion will be developed into a casual fashion that is comfortable for daily use. The purpose of this research is to describe the creation process and the finished result of the creation of a casual fashion design with the source idea of Jaranan Buto. This research method uses the creation method, which has 3 stages, namely exploration, design, and realization. The results of this research are (1) the process of creating a casual fashion design with the idea source of Jaranan Buto, (2) the results of creating 3 casual outfits with the idea source of Jaranan Buto, consisting of 2 casual female outfits and 1 casual male outfit. 2 casual outfits consisted of 2 parts, namely tops and pants, while 1 casual outfit consisted of 3 parts, namely tops, pants, and obi.

Abstract

This research aims to develop project-based learning LKPD teaching materials on packaging design. This research method is the development of the ADDIE model with three stages, namely analysis, design, development. The instrument used is a validation sheet by material experts and media experts. The data obtained was then calculated using the percentage formula which was then described in descriptive sentences. The results showed that the project-based learning LKPD based on packaging design material that had been validated by the material got a percentage value of 84% which was in the feasible category. While the results of validation by media experts received a percentage value of 81% which is in the feasible category. The conclusion of this study is that the feasibility results of developing project-based learning-based LKPD on packaging design material are in the feasible category.

Abstract

Lampion adalah sebuah benda dekoratif yang biasanya terbuat dari kertas tipis yang dilapisi dengan rangka yang kuat dan diberi lubang-lubang kecil untuk memancarkan cahaya. Lampion biasanya digunakan untuk keperluan perayaan, dekorasi, atau kegiatan festival. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan sumber ide lampion pada desain busana pesta malam. Proses desain yang dilakukan meliputi proses perancangan, proses pembuatan dan hasil jadi busana pesta. Proses perancangan terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu menentukan sumber ide, pengembangan desain, pemilihan desain yang diwujudkan dan pemilihan bahan. Desain yang diwujudkan terdiri dari three pieces yaitu dress dalam yang berupa mini skirt dan bustier, lengan balon yang terpisah, dan bagian luar terdapat rok balon. Untuk membuat rok balon digunakan kerangka besi dari bahan almini. Untuk membuat rok balon, pertama adalah menentukan ukuran rok, kemudian memotong plat almini sesuai ukuran yang telah di tentukan, menggabungkan tiap jeruji almini secara horizontal dan vertical dengan cara di las hingga membentuk lingkaran. Selanjutnya adalah membuat pola dengan sistem drapping berupa rok setengah lingkar pada kerangka, setelah itu menandai garis pinggang pada pola toile. Lanterns are usually used for celebration, decoration, or festival activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the application of lantern idea sources in evening wear. The design process carried out includes the design process, the manufacturing process, and the description of evening wear results. The design process consists of three stages, namely determining the source of ideas, developing designs, selecting embodied designs, and selecting materials. The final design that was realized consisted of three pieces, namely an inner dress in the form of a mini skirt and bustier, separate balloon sleeves, and outer in the form of a balloon skirt. To make balloon skirts used iron frame from almini material. To make a balloon skirt, first is to determine the size of the skirt, then cut the almini plate according to the predetermined size, combining each almini bar horizontally and vertically by welding it to form a circle. Next is to make a pattern with a drapping system in the form of a skirt half circumference on the skeleton, after that mark the waistline on the toile pattern.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the influence of food vlogger @kokobuncit's content on culinary interest among UNESA culinary students, (2) the influence of food vlogger @kokobuncit's promotion on culinary interest among UNESA culinary students, (3) the influence of content and promotion food vlogger on culinary interest among UNESA culinary students. This research uses a survey method with a questionnaire data collection instrument via Google Forms. The subjects of this research are active students of the UNESA Culinary Education Bachelor's study program who meet the criteria, namely domiciled in Surabaya, aged 19-23 years, understand culinary, follow the @kokobuncit account or have watched food vlogger content @kokobuncit, and follow culinary trends in Surabaya via the @kokobuncit account. The number of respondents to this research was 50 people. The data was processed using multiple regression analysis for partial tests and simultaneous tests. The research results showed that: (1) the content of food vlogger @kokobuncit had an effect on culinary interest with a value of 4.430; (2) promotion of food vlogger @kokobuncit influences culinary interest with a value of 2.608; (3) content and promotion of food vlogger @kokobuncit simultaneously influence culinary interest with a value of 42.146 and an R square value of 0.642 or an influence size of 64.2%. Abstract

Pelatihan ketrampilan sangat diperlukan guna menambah ketrampilan bersaing didunia global. Ketrampilan yang didapat tidak hanya dalam pendidikan formal tetapi dengan menambah ketrampilan dibidang lain. Santri yang menempuh pendidikan di pondok pesantern Jagad Alimussiry, berasal dari bermacam-macam bidang pendidikan yang menempuh kuliah dibeberapa perguruan tinggi. Selain pembekalan agama, santri harus memiliki ketrampilan lain untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya. Salah satunya dengan pelatihan batik cap dengan pewarnaan alami. Santri tidak hanya diajarkan untuk membuat batik tetapi memberikan edukasi pewarnaan alami dalam mewarnai batik. Tujuan Program Pengabdian Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk: 1) Menambah keterampilan santri dalam membuat karya melalui pelatihan batik cap dengan pewarnaan alami, 2) Memberikan edukasi santri bahan alami yang ramah lingkungan, 3) Menambah motivasi peserta didik dalam menjadikan hasil pelatihan sebagai alternatif berwirausaha. Kegiatan awal dengan melakukan survei lokasi untuk mengumpulkan sumber informasi tentang kelayakan sasaran dengan metode wawancara kepada pimpinan dan pengurus pondok pesantren. Pembuatan prototype, hand out dan instrumen. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah dengan menampilkan prototype produk, demonstrasi proses, pelatihan terbimbing, evaluasi hasil dan pengisian angket respon peserta. Produk yang dibuat berupa batik dengan pewarnaan alami.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the relationship of motivation to the results of entrepreneurial practices of class XI Culinary students at SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik; 2) the relationship between interest in entrepreneurship and the results of entrepreneurship practices of class XI Culinary Class students at SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik; 3) the relationship between motivation and interest in entrepreneurship on the results of entrepreneurial practices of class XI Culinary students at SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 35 students of class XI Culinary at Dharma Wanita Gresik Vocational School. Research data was collected through questionnaires and observation. Data analysis was carried out by product moment correlation analysis and multiple correlation with the help of SPSS 22 for windows software. The results of the study show that: 1) there is no positive and significant relationship between motivation and the results of entrepreneurial practices for students of Class XI Culinary at SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik. Evidenced by the value of r-count < r-table, namely (0.151 <0.334); 2) there is no positive and significant relationship between the interest in entrepreneurship and the results of entrepreneurial practices of Class XI Culinary Class students at SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik. Evidenced by the value of r-count < r-table, namely (0.171 <0.334); and 3) there is no positive and significant relationship between motivation and interest in entrepreneurship on the results of entrepreneurial practices of Class XI Culinary Class students at SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik. Evidenced by the value of r-count < r-table, namely (0.172 <0.334). The R value (correlation coefficient) is 0.172, so it can be concluded that the level of relationship between variables X1 and X2 to Y simultaneously has a very low relationship.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) To find out how the decorative skills of phase E KKBT students at SMK Negeri 1 Jabon, 2) To determine the learning outcomes of batik craft students in phase F KKBT SMK Negeri 1 Jabon, 3) To determine the effect of students’ decorative drawing skill on improving student learning outcomes in drawing batik craft in phase F KKBT students of SMK Negeri 1 Jabon. This research uses quantitative methods with a sample of 33 students. The instrument in this study was a student batik performance test assessment sheet. The data collection technique was a performance test assessment with simple regression analysis. The results of the study stated: 1) The level of completeness of the decorative variety shows that there are 11 (33%) students who are not complete, and there are 22 (67%) students who are complete. 2) The level of batik completeness shows that 6 (18.18%) students are not complete, and there are 27 (81.81%) students who are complete. 3) There is an effect of knowledge of decorative varieties on batik learning outcomes with the demonstration of variations from the batik learning outcomes variable (Y) caused by skill of decorative varieties (X) of 91.8%.
