Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of practical tool viscometer to measure the viscosity of the fluid using the method ball free fall to utilize hall effect sensor UGN3503 as detection sensor iron ball as it passes through the fluid and causes the magnetic field of the sensor is changed because the sensor is blocked by a magnetic iron ball, the magnitude magnetic field strength by a hall effect sensor changed into electrical quantities such as voltage output. The voltage generated is to be processed and recorded as the travel time by the microcontroller Atmega8. The method used is the method of Research and Development with the model design using ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The steps in the development of practical tools viscometer is analysis, the initial product design, develop products, revisions and enhancements, implementation and evaluation. Retrieval of data validation using instruments such as questionnaires to matter experts, media experts and teachers. Viscosity value is determined by measuring the travel time of the ball, the density of ball and fluid, and the distance of the ball. The results of field trials small scale with research subjects 5 high school students (100%) it was concluded that the development practical tool viscometer method ball free fall based hall effect sensor UGN3503 on type of fluid glycerin and oil SAE 40 can be used as a medium of learning physics so as to facilitate students in understanding the concept of viscosity. Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce the learning media in the form photoscrap as media on the subject of statis fluid for students 10 grade in senior high school. Poster developed in this research created from recycled material or scrap. The method which used in this research is a research and development (R&D) methods of Dick and Carey with steps : 1) identification instructional needs and writing general instructional purposes , 2) instructional analysis, 3) identification first behavior characteristic of students, 4) writing spesific instructional purposes, 5) design assesment tools, 6) desain instructional strategy, 7) development instructional materials , 8) desain and emplement formative evaluation, 9) instructional sysetem, 10 ) implementation summatif evaluation and innovasion difusion. Instrument of research in the form of questionnaire. This poster has been through a validation test phase with a percentage 81,25% according to matter expert, 79.95% according to media expert, and 94.85% according to physics teacher in senior high school interpreted very good. Limited test result on physics learners shows the percentage 85.54% from 5 aspect assessment of students to poster developed. Based on the result of the validation test, experiment, it can be concluded that the result of the development of fluid poster in form of photoscrap has been qualified as a media of learning for the ten grades in senior high school in their physics class. Abstract

The purpose of the research is to develop student’s worksheet based on Starter Experiment Approach (SEA) for high school grade XI in the wave characteristics subject. The method used the Research and Development (R & D) by using the model design of ADDIE. Student worksheets were developed include, 1) title, 2) instructions for use, 3) goals, 4) theory of brief, 5) tools and materials, and last 6) The steps from based on Starter Experiment Approach (initial experiment, observation, problem formulation, provisional estimates, experimental testing, drafting, lesson notes, application of the concept). The steps of the researchers in developing the student worksheet are the analysis, design the media, manufacture the media, revision and refinement. The result from the observation to the school with using quetionnaire at 31 Senior High School Jakarta with 72 students and 4 teachers respondent (100%), known that 95% (67 students) supporting the idea of ​​teaching materials of SEA worksheets in the wave characteristics subject and 89% (64 students) want the development of physics worksheet in the basis of Starter Experiment Approach in the wave characteristics subject. Retrieval of data validation using the instrument in the form of a questionnaire to the physics experts, media experts and teachers. The results of the research with the development of student worksheets based on Starter Experiment Approach in the wave characteristics subject can be used as a physics learning support. Abstract

This study aims (1) to develop and produce the physics multiple representation’s book using problem based approach as reference of learning physics of waves, and (2) to describe the advisability of the physics multiple representation’s book using problem based approach by means of validation test. This study has Research and Development’s (R & D) method with the modified Dick and Carey’s model. This model was modified by M. Atwi Suparman then become “Model Pengembangan Instruksional” which has the function to develop the modern instructional design. The average percentage of validation test by physics subject expert, media expert, learning expert, and limited test by teacher and student is 85%. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the comparison of learning outcomes physics student using cooperative learning model of type Group Investigation with Discovery Inquiry. The research is conducted in SMAN 2 Bekasi on February-April 2015. The samples were 38 students who have similar conditions. The samples are X MIA 5 as experiment class 1 and X MIA 6 as experiment class 2. The method used in this research is quacy experimental design. The instrument of this research is multiple choice formed with 30 questionare. Requirement test uses normality test with Chi-square since χ2count (5,188) ≤ χ2table (12,59159) on experiment class 1 and χ2count (2,649) ≤ χ2table (12,59159) on experiment class 2, than the conclusion is that the data is distributed normal. On homogeneity test for α=5% and n=38 obtained Fcount (1,348) Ftable (1,76) therefore the data obtained are homogeneous. Based on hypothesis test using t-test, shown that tcount (1,86) and ttable (1,66571) at significance level α=5% with dk = 38+38-2=74. Because of tcount > ttabel, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the results of outcome physics model of Group Investigation is higher than the results of outcome physics learning on Discovery Inquiry. Abstract

This research aims to see how the comparison of of the result of student learning Physics through cooperative learning model of Jigsaw with Discovery-Inquiry. The research has been conducted in February-April 2015 in SMAN 2 Bekasi. The research method which is used is the Quasi-Experiments method The samples were taken two classes from XI SMA Mathmatics and Science. And divided into class experiment 1 and experiment 2. The instrument which is used in the form of a multiple choice test with a score of 0-1 as many as 30 questions and five answers. The results of this study with a statistical test the "t" test and Tuckey test to be able to see the comparison. Based on the calculation, t value for 2,28 is higher than t table for n = 42 and at a significance level of 5% is 1,66. And for value of Tuckey test (Q value) is 3,12 at a significance level of 5% is 2,86. It can be concluded that the results of learning physics students using cooperative learning model jigsaw is higher than using the discovery-inquiry. Abstract

The research aims to determine the comprison result of learning physics by using model Make A Match with Cooperative Script in high school.This research was conducted at SMAN 53 Jakarta in February-April 2015. The sample used in a class X MIA 2 as an experimental class 1, and X MIA 1 as an experimental class 2 respectively of 36 students who have the same condition.The research method is quasi experiment, the research instrument in the form of multiple choice questions with a number of about 30 items. Using the price obtained Normality Test Chi Square cunt Chi Square table, for class 1 is 7,86642 11,070 and experimen class 2 that 6,9326 11,070, based on data from second class of normal distribution. Homogeneity test resuls obtained for is 1,275 2,52 so the data is homogeneous. Based on hypothesis testing using t-test showed (2,015) and the value of (1,66691) at significance level by dk=(36-36)-2=70. Because then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that students who use learning models make a match higher than students who use Cooperative Script learning model. Keywords: Make A Match, Cooperative Script, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran pada materi Energi Terbarukan khususnya energi air. Media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan memberikan kemudahan kepada siswa untuk mengubah ketinggian jatuhnya air dan debit air sehingga memudahkan siswa mengambil data untuk membandingkan energi listrik yang dihasilkan serta efisiensinya pada ketinggian dan debit air yang berdeda-beda. Pada saat uji coba produk diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa semakin tinggi jatuhnya air dan semakin besar debit air, energi listrik yang dihasilkan semakin besar adapun efisiensinya memiliki kecenderungan semakin kecil. Media pembelajaran ini dilengkapi charge untuk menyimpan energi listrik, lampu, kipas dan bel sebagai indikator outputnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan desain model Borg & Gall. Pengambilan data validasi media pembelajaran menggunakan instrument berupa angket kepada lima guru, dua ahli media dan dua ahli materi. Nilai rata-rata guru, ahli media dan ahli materi masing-masing berada di atas 80% sehingga media pembelajaran ini dapat dikatagorikan sangat baik. Data berpikir kritis diperoleh menggunakan lembar test dan non test yang sebelumnya di uji validitas dengan product moment dan uji reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach, dari hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa soal test dan non test valid dan reliabel. Hasil test dan non test menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran energi terbarukan secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran, Energi Terbarukan, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa alat praktikum medan magnet yang dapat menjelaskan berbagai variabel yang mempengaruhi kuat medan magnet induksi oleh kawat melingkar berarus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang dicetuskan oleh Borg dan Gall. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Februari-Juli 2015 di Laboratorium Fisika Universitas Negeri Jakarta dan di uji cobakan di SMA Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar kuisioner validasi, dan tes tertulis yang terdiri dari pretes dan postes. Hasil validasi alat praktikum medan magnet oleh ahli materi fisika sebesar 88.89%, ahli media pembelajaran sebesar 98.11%, serta guru fisika SMA sebesar 92.03% yang diinterpretasikan sangat baik. Hasil uji coba lapangan skala kecil dengan subjek penelitian 5 orang siswa SMA serta skala lebih luas dengan subjek penelitian 18 orang siswa SMA Al-Azhar Kelapa Gading sebesar 77.47% yang diinterpretasikan sangat baik. Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa yang terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pretes dan postes sebesar 55.56 untuk pretes dan 62.78 untuk postes yang berarti terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dengan interpretasi sedang. Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop learning media of motion in one dimension to increase analysis capability of students. This research is motivated from discussion with teacher and first data from preliminary questionnaire filled by students about utilazation smartphone to learning especially Newton’s laws. This research was done in senior high school at even semester on 2015-2016. Media which was developed form android application. Therefore, it can demonstrate phenomenon relating with Newton’s laws. Method of this research is Research and Development (R&D) by Borg and Gall and also development design by ASSURE. Collecting validation data of learning media using instrument form questionnaire to media and objectives master. Based on research is expected development of learning media, students can understand Newton’s laws easier and can be accessible anytime and anywhere.
