Abstract

Abstract: Based on the result of observation in the field toward confidence of student, it find that confidence of student are not yet improve optimally. So, there is needed applying of fashion show activity. This research has a purpose to know the influence of fashion show activity. This research of applying fashion show activity toward confidence of 5-6 years old children in early childhood Aqila Kids District Tambang Regency of Kampar. Sample of this research are 14 student of class B. Technique to college data is using observation technique and technique of data analysis is using t-test with using SPSS 18.0 program. Hypotheses of this research is there are very significant influence toward student confidence after applying fashion show activity. This is knowing from the result of data obtained t=17.298 p=0,000 because p < 0,05. So, it can be conclude that there has a very significant different of student confidence. confidence after using fashion show activity in teaching learning. So, its mean that Ho refused and Ha accepted that means there are very significant different between before and after doing the experiment with fashion show activity. The effect of fashion show activity to confidence of 5-6 years old children at early childhood Aqila Kids District Tambang Regency of Kampar e as much as 32,5%Keywords : Confidence, Fashion Show Activity

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aimed to know the practicality level of Oersted experimental devices. This devices consist of experimental tool and Oersted experimental guidebook which were used as physics learning media in magnetism topic for senior high school students. The respondents of this research were 4 teachers and 30 of XII grade students from SMAN 1 Kampar and MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The data were obtained by using questionnaires which were given to the students after using the experimental devices. Descriptive analysis showed that the practicality of experimental devices was in very high category (mean scores 3,55 and 3,93). The analysis toward the parcticality of experimental guidebook was also categorized very high (mean scores: 3.64 dan 3.85). Based on that, Oersted experimental devices can be declared practical and eligible to use as physics learning media for senior high school studentsKey Words : Magnetism, Practicality, Oersted experimental devices.

Abstract

Abstract: Creative attitude is an important part of creativity by supporting the creative thingking ability. This study aims to analyze the level of students creative attitude in learning science in junior high school. This research conducted on 218 samples of junior high school students in Riau. The questionnaire about students creative attitude which consists of 3 aspects of creative attitude (making, inquiry/experiment and task commitment) and 15 statement items. The result showed that the creative attitude of junior high school students in Riau was in the good category.Keywords: Creative Attitude, Science

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in moral behavior in children aged 4-5 years through storytelling using the big book In Play Group Kasih Bunda Kemang Indah Village Tambang District Kampar Regency. This study is je nis studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years are numbered 13 children in Play Group Kasih Bunda. The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research shows that using a big book story-telling method can improve moral behavior in children aged 4-5 years. It can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of behavior children in the first cycle of 62.34% which is the criterion developing according to expectations (BSH) and an increase of 33.68% in the second cycle to 83.33% who are very good at developing criteria (BSB). So, the story-telling method using a big book can improve the behavior of children aged 4-5 years in Play Group Kasih Bunda Kemang Indah Village Tambang District Kampar RegencyKeywords : Moral behavior, Storytelling Method, Big Book

Abstract

Abstract: Science is a human knowledge about nature that is obtained in a controlled way. So that students can carry out the scientific learning process, they must have an ability that scientists have in conducting scientific investigations, namely scientific process skills. The purpose of this study is to produce an animated video as a valid and practical physics practical guide at home that can train the science process skills of seventh grade junior high school students on heat and its transfer material. The research method used in this research are Research and Development (R&D) and development method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). However, in this development research, researchers only conduct research up to the third stage, namely to the development stage. The type of data used in this study is divided into qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data in the form of opinions and suggestions from the validator and quantitative data in the form of scores given by the validator on each item of the assessment of the animated video product draft along with the accompanying LKPD which was developed as a practical guide. The results of the validation at the final stage based on 5 aspects of the assessment obtained the following; the conduction practicum animation video is 3.53, the convection practicum animation video is 3.51 and the radiation practicum animation video is 3.58. The results of the validation at the final stage obtained the following averages; LKPD conduction of 3.70. The convection LKPD is 3.62 and the radiation LKPD is 3.67. So based on the description of the validation results, the media developed in the form of animated videos and practical worksheets can be declared valid. Thus, it can be concluded that the media developed by the researcher is suitable to be used as a guide for physics practicum for junior high school students at home.Keywords : Media Development, video animation, science process skills, heat and its transfer.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Video- based laboratory (VBL) used in improving students' concepts of physics on the topic of elasticity of solid matter. This study in the background of practical activities in schools is still a major obstacle to learning activities. Low availability of pre-sight equipment and infrastructure, introduction time, inadequate laboratory equipment. For this reason, one solution that can be used to overcome the problem is by utilizing this evolving technology. One medium that can be used to help students assist in experimental activities is the Video Based Laboratory (VBL). This research is a research model from the revision of Karthwoll-Andersoon for cognitive level. The research was conducted on students of class XI 1 Teluk Kuantan, the number of students was 36 people. The actions were carried out in 2 groups, namely the experimental class with Video Based Laboratory (VBL) and the control group with lectures. After treatment, both classes will be given 15 cognitive tests. The data analysis used is descriptive data and inferential analysis. The results of the data in the field were tested with an independent T-test. The results showed that students in the experimental group were more effective than the control class with a significant data value of 0.008.Key words: Effectiveness, Video Based Laboratory, Cognitive learning results.

Abstract

Abstrack: This research has various aim among of them, to know the potential of physics learning in electromagnetic induction subject, to identify the constraint of teachers and students in experimental implementation, to look the perception of teachers and students for effective and efficient of experimental equipment and analyzing constraint and perception of students and teachers to design the valid and practice experimental equipment. The research using literature and field study in Research and Development (R&D) method. In collected data through questionnaire and interview, researcher did it for nine of physics teachers and fifty students derive from senior high school in Pekanbaru. Based on document had been analyzed, researcher get conclude ~ applying the electromagnetic induction subject through experimental method is important in physics concept. In fact this method apply rarely, it is impact of any factor like: limited time, limited experimental equipment, full content of the matter and there are no skillful laboratory assistant. In interview teachers and students said the criteria of equipment that they need such as complete, equate real, new, representative, simple, easy to understand, safely, attractive, effective and efficient according to quantity and quality equipment of electromagnetic induction.Key Words: Constraint of physics experiment implementation, electromagnetic induction equipment, physics learning media.

Abstract

Abstract: The ability to think creatively is one of the skills needed for individuals to face the era of the Industrial Revolution. The efforts made by researchers are conducting survey research. This research aims to analyze students' thinking skills and find out the differences in creative thinking abilities in science physics on the theme of the greenhouse effect between male and female junior high school students. This research is a research that uses a survey method. The data obtained from this research is the data given to students from the results of the answers to the instrument of creative thinking ability. The instruments used are arranged based on 4 aspects of creative thinking skills, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results showed that the average value obtained from the creative thinking ability instrument in physics science on the theme of the greenhouse effect was quite creative and there was a significant difference between the creative thinking abilities of men and women.Keywords: Creative thinking ability, Science, Greenhouse Effect

Abstract

Abstract: Animation slide presentation learning media is a learning media packaged in the form of learning videos that allow students to always access the media anytime and anywhere because it is connected via the internet using google classroom and students can download the media after being uploaded by the teacher via google classroom. The media animation slide presentation in this study was developed on magnetic field material in high school. The purpose of this research is to produce learning media that are valid and can be used for teaching and learning physics activities in high school on magnetic field material. This research is expected to be a learning media that is easy to use and access by students so that learning objectives can be achieved even in online conditions. Besides, this media is expected to make it easier for teachers to deliver learning materials. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. This research is only limited to the development stage. The research instrument used in this study is the media validation assessment sheet and the material used by the validator to assess the appropriateness of using animation slide presentation media for teaching and learning activities. Data analysis in this study used quantitative data analysis, by calculating the average validity score of each validity indicator. The results showed that the media animation slide presentation was declared valid with the overall score of the media was 3.45 with a very high category, so it was declared feasible to be used in online physics teaching and learning activities on magnetic field material in high school.Keywords: Animation Slide Presentation Media, Online Learning, Magnetic Field

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of explaindio-based learning videos on parabolic motion material in an effort to improve the cognitive abilities of valid high school students' physics. The development of learning videos is carried out as a solution to the difficulties of learning physics, as well as the lack of use of learning media in the physics learning process. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. As for the ADDIE model research development scheme, the analysis stages are divided into needs analysis, problem analysis, and curriculum analysis. There are two design stages, namely the making of the History board and the making of the Story board. As for the development stage (Development) is the media development and validation stage. The validation aspect consists of aspects of learning theory, aspects of learning materials, and aspects of media. The data collection instrument was in the form of a validation sheet given to three validators. The data analysis technique is by calculating the average score of the validation assessment until all items are worth 3. The results of the second stage validation of all statement items in each aspect have received a minimum score of 3 for each aspect. The results showed that the explaindio-based learning video on parabolic motion material in an effort to improve the cognitive physics abilities of high school students that was developed met the valid criteria from the validated aspects including aspects of learning theory with an average score of 3.84, aspects of learning materials with an average score 3.38, and the media aspect with an average score of 3.4. So from the scores that have been described, the learning videos using the explaindio application are valid and suitable for use in the learning processKey Word : Learning Videos, Explaindio, Parabolic Motion
