Abstract

Absract: Blended learning module is a module whose application can be done in two learning: face to face learning and also on online learning. The purpose of this research is to design and produce a valid blended learning module on electromagnetic radiation material as a source of learning physics in class XII in high school and this research uses Google Classroom as a learning management system. This research is expected to be used to facilitate teachers to apply blended learning as well as alternative learning. Research of development module used is research with the ADDIE model. This research is limited to the development stage that has been done validation of module because the researcher does not examine the effectiveness of learning activities in the class with the modules developed. The results of the study gave the conclution that the blended learning module developed on the electromagnetic radiation material for class XII are valid and can be used in learning to support the teaching and learning process so to be better.Keywords: Module, Blended Learning, Electromagnetic Radiation, and Google Classroom

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the level of understanding of students' physics concepts on fluid material and its application in the VIII class of MTsN Pekanbaru City. The population is all students the VIII class of MTsN in Pekanbaru City and the sample was taken using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%. The sample used by simple random sampling technique namely was 87students from MTsN 1 Pekanbaru and MTsN 3 Pekanbaru. The research instrument used questions test on the description of the fluid material and its application. Descriptive analysis was conducted to see the results of the students' physics concept understanding test using the criteria for understanding the physics concept of each indicator. Data collection techniques was in the form of scores on the results of understanding the concept of physics. The results showed that the average percentage of students' conceptual understanding in physics science subjects was in the medium category with a value of 47.05%. The category of conceptual understanding in the instrument consists of interpreting, exemplifying, classifying, summarizing, generalizing, comparing, and explaining.Key Words: Understanding Concept, Fluid and application

Abstract

Abstract: This quasi-experimental research aims to identify the basic Science Process Skills (KPS) of students pre-implementing virtual experiments at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The instrument used was a basic KPS test in the form of multiple choices. The research stages include the preparation stage and the implementation stage. The preparatory stage includes identifying problems, formulating problems, preliminary studies, determining samples, and making a test. Meanwhile, the implementation stage includes data collection and data analysis. There were 48 students of class XI MIPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru who participated in a series of activities in this study. There are four aspects chosen by researchers such as observation, classification, prediction, and communication. The results showed that the basic KPS results of the pre-implementation virtual experiment students were in the high category. Class XI MIPA 6 which produces an average score of basic KPS of 61.54. As well as class XI MIPA 7 which produces an average KPS score of 69.95.Keywords: Science Process Skills, Virtual Experiment.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship of the ability in drawing free body diagrams with cognitive ability of students on balance and dynamic rotation materials. Correlational study was used as research method, the ability to draw free body diagrams was defined as independent variable while dependent variable was students’ cognitive ability. Primer data was obtained directly from the sample by using the ability of drawing free body diagram and cognitive ability students test instruments. Coefficient of correlation between those variables was 0.656, it can be catagorized in high level. According to regression analysis, the coefficient of regression was +3,682, means that independent and dependent variable have a positive relation. Coefficient of determination was 43%, it showed that the contribution of the ability in drawing free body diagrams to cognitive ability students is 43%. Significancy test indicated that there was a significant influence between both of variables. Based on that, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relation between the ability in drawing free body diagrams and cognitive ability students on balance and dynamic rotation materials of senior high school physics subject.Keywords : Ability to draw free body diagrams, balance and dynamics rotation, cognitive ability, physics learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to determine the correlation between students’ perception toward science learning (physics) with students’ cognitive study result. Descriptive study by survey method was use as research method. The data was obtained directly from the sample by using the data instrument which was a quisionnare of students’ perception toward science learning (physic), meanwhile the data of students’ cognitive study result was obtained from mid tern test result. The coefficient of correlation between students’ perception toward science learning (physics) with students’ cognitive study result was 0,013 which was interpreted in very low category. Based on significance value the result was p > 0,05 (0,452 > 0,05), it means that there was no positive and significant relation between students’ perception toward science learning (physics) with students’ cognitive study result on students’ of SMP Negeri in Pulau Merbau sub distric.Key Words: Students’ perception toward science learning (physics), Students’ cognitive study result

Abstract

Abstract:REACT strategy is a learning strategy in a contextual approach, to impelement the REACT learning strategy, We have developed a set of studentlyworksheetbased on REACT theworksheet that is compiled and designed with emphasis on the interrelationship between subjectmatter and the real world of student’s life. The purpose of this study was to develop a valid physical LKPD based on REACTon simple machinematerial injuniorhigh school science learningIn this study, the validation stage was carried out by 3 lecturers of Physics Education who were experienced and also conducted trials limited to 10students of class VIIIat SMPN 25Pekanbaru. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire shaped a checklist. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis by calculating the index of each indicator used to determine the validity of the develop LKPD. The results of this study provide information that the developed of physical LKPD based on REACT in simple machinematerialis valid and practical in the high and very high categories and can be used in learning to support the teaching and learning process so that it becomes better.KeyWords:LKPD,REACT, Simple Machine, Science Learning.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase ability to know the numbers emblem in children aged 4-5 years through learning models make a match in early childhood Tunas Jaya Jaya subdistrict Tapung Petapahan village. This study is je nis studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years are numbered 20 children in Tunas Jaya , The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. Ha sil research shows that learning model make a match can improve ability to know the numbers emblem in children aged 4-5 year. It Dapa t be seen from the increase in the average percentage of the ability to know the symbol of the numbers in the first cycle of 53.65%, which is at a fairly high category and an increase of 51.97% in the second cycle to 81, 5 3% are located in either category. So, make a match the learning model can improve the ability to know the symbol of the number of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Tunas Jaya Jaya subdistrict Tapung Petapahan village.Keywords : Know Your Numbers Coat ability, Learning Model Make A Match

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the beginning of improved reading skills in children aged 5-6 years through media activities of picture books in TK Pertiwi namesake grandmother Tapung District of Kampar regency. This study is je nis studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years are numbered 13 children in TK Pertiwi namesake grandmother , The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. Ha sil research shows that the media picture books can improve Early reading ability in children aged 5-6 year. It Dapa t be seen from the increase in the average percentage of children reading at the beginning of the first cycle of 41.79% which is the criteria began to develop and an increase of 57.69% in the second cycle be 65.90% which are in developing criteria according to expectations. So, the media picture books can improve Early reading ability 5-6 years old children in kindergarten Pertiwi namesake grandmother Tapung District of Kampar regency.Keywords : Literacy Starters, Media Picture Story Books

Abstract

Abstract: The 21st century is a century filled with advances in information andcommunication technology. Therefore, science is also developing rapidly following thechanges that occur. The development of science and technology, especially in the field ofelectronics, which is supported by various features and applications, can become aninnovation in the manufacture of educational media. One of the innovations in developinglearning media is using the Video Scribe application. This research aims to produce a validlearning media and can be used in the teaching and learning process on Static Electricitymaterial in high school. This type of research uses the ADDIE model. The ADDIE modelconsists of five steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.However, in this research, the ADDIE model is only used until the development step. Thisresearch uses a validation sheet as a research instrument that is given to the validation teamwhich opens three validators who are experts in their fields. The results showed that thelearning media based on the Video Scribe application got an average validation score of 4.4which was included in the Valid validation criteria. Thus, learning media based on the VideoScribe application is suitable for use as a learning medium by teachers and this learningmedia can help students understand Electrical Statistics material in high school.Key word: Applications Video Scribe, Static Electricity, Learning Media, Learning Physics

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research was to produce a valid constructivist physics learning module on dynamic and equilibrium of rigid body material as a source of physics learning media for senior high school students. The research used the Research and Development method following the ADDIE model. In this research, the module was developed over three steps out of five steps such as analysis, design, and development. The research data was obtained from the results of validation by five experts as validators. The validation module instrument was adopted by Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) which consists of three feasibility aspect’s consist the content, the language, the graphic and present feasibility aspect’s. Validation was done through two phases which is the first and second phase. The content feasibility aspect got the average validity of 0.9 (valid with very good category), the language feasibility aspect was 0.92 (valid with very good category), and the graphic and present feasibility aspect’s was 0.90 (valid with very good category). In general, the indicator of each feasibility aspects has been valid and suitable with the development objectives. Based on the results of the validation, it can be concluded that the constructivist physics learning module on dynamic and equilibrium of rigid body material has been valid based on the content, the language, the graphic and present feasibility aspects and feasible as a source of physics learning media on dynamic and equilibrium of rigid body material.Keywords : constructivist module, dynamic and equilibrium of rigid body, physics learning of senior high school
