Abstract

This community service activity is the second of three years of village service assisted by the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering UNG which has started in 2020 and will end in 2022. The Department of Industrial Engineering carries out village development service activities in four different locations, one of which is Lopo Village. Batudaa Pantai District. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the potential of Lopo Village human resources through tune-up training for fishing boat propulsion engines (ketinting). The implementation of activities is divided into 3 stages, namely (1). Preparation stage, where surveys and problem identification are carried out. (2). The stages of program implementation are the provision of training materials and practices (3). Reporting and publication of service activities. The results obtained from this service activity are, after the tune-up training, the fishing communities participating in the training are able to tune up the ketinting machine that they use to earn a living independently without having to use professional staff which of course costs money.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the campus environment requires the availability of fast, stable, and secure WiFi networks. However, threats to wireless network security are increasing, ranging from data theft to unauthorized access. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of WPA3 implementation in enhancing Wi-Fi network security in a campus environment. The research employed a quantitative method with an experimental approach, comparing Wi-Fi network configurations using WPA2 and WPA3 security protocols. Data were collected through penetration testing using Kali Linux and Metasploit, as well as network performance analysis using Wireshark and iPerf. Penetration testing results showed that the WPA3 network is more resistant to dictionary attacks and KRACK attacks compared to the WPA2 network. Network performance analysis indicated that WPA3 implementation does not significantly affect network throughput and latency, but there was a slight improvement in network stability with reduced packet loss. The results of this study indicate that WPA3 offers a significant improvement in security without significantly sacrificing network performance. It is recommended to implement WPA3 to improve Wi-Fi network security in a campus environment. This study implies that WPA3 can be implemented as a better security solution for Wi-Fi networks in various educational institutions.

Abstract

Abstrak —Pada pelayanan pembelian tiket kapal di pelabuhan penyeberangan kota Gorontalo sering terjadi antrian. Antrian terjadi karena adanya masalah dalam pelayanan, masalah tersebut terjadi karena tingkat kedatangan pelanggan lebih besar dari pada tingkat pelayanan. Karena hal ini membuat konsumen menunggu untuk dilayani. Oleh karena itu, untuk melihat kinerja sistem layanan loket pembelian tiket kapal di pelabuhan penyeberangan Gorontalo maka diperlukan  simulasi sistem antrian menggunakan aplikasi ProModel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa lama waktu antrian setiap konsumen dalam mendapatkan pelayanan pada pembelian tiket di Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Gorontalo dan untuk Mengetahui kinerja  pelayanan  pada pembelian tiket kapal feri di pelabuhan penyeberangan Gorontalo menggunakan aplikasi simulasi ProModel. Adapun hasil report tingkat kesibukan pada loket administrasi sebesar 22,17%, validasi vaksin 58,02% dan loket pembelian tiket 92,30% dengan rata-rata waktu pelayanan pada loket administrasi sebesar 1,90 penumpang dalam 1 menit, validasi vaksin 0,84 penumpang dalam 1 menit dan loket pembelian tiket 1,02 penumpang dalam 1 menit.Currently, queues often occur when purchasing ferry ticket at the ferry port in Gororntalo, and it occurs due to experiencing problems in service particularly when the arrival rate of customers is greater than the level of service. Consequently, this makes consumers wait to be served. Therefore, to observe the performance of boat ticket counter service system at the Gorontalo ferry port, it is necessary to simulate the queuing system using ProModel application. This present research aims to determine how long the queue time for each consumer is to obtain service for purchasing tickets at the Gorontalo ferry port. Also, it aims to determine the service performance for purchasing ferry tickets at the Gorontalo ferry port using ProModel simulation application. The result of report reveal that the level of activityat the administration counter is 22,17% validation of vaccines is 58,02% and ticket counter is 92,30%. In addition, the average service time at the administration counter is 1,90 passeggers in one minute, vaccine validation is 0,84 passeggers in one minute, and ticket counter is 1,02 passanggers in one minute.

Abstract

Penentuan kualitas kopra merupakan proses penting dalam industri perkebunan kelapa yang bertujuan untuk menentukan kualitas kopra yang dihasilkan. Namun, proses ini seringkali sulit dilakukan secara manual karena dipengaruhi oleh subyektivitas dari petugas yang melakukan pengamatan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu metode yang objektif untuk membantu proses tersebut, salah satunya adalah logika fuzzy. Logika fuzzy dapat digunakan untuk mengelola informasi tidak jelas dengan menggunakan aturan-aturan matematis dimulai dengan definisi himpunan fuzzy, definisi aturan fuzzy, proses fuzzyfikasi dan terakhir defuzzyfikasi. Studi ini bertujuan guna membangun sistem yang bisa menolong dalam penentuan mutu kopra di PT Multi Nabati Sulawesi dengan memanfaatkan logika fuzzy. Hasil dari riset ini menampilkan kalau sistem yang dibentuk bisa menentukan kualitas kopra dengan akurasi sebesar 95% dan memberikan rekomendasi kualitas yang sesuai dengan kondisi sampel yang diuji.Determining the quality of copra is an important process in the coconut farming industry that aims to determine the quality of copra produced. However, this process is often difficult to perform manually due to the subjectivity of the officers performing the observation. Therefore, an objective method is required to assist in this process, one of which is fuzzy logic. Fuzzy logic can be used to manage unclear information using mathematical rules, starting with the definition of fuzzy sets, definition of fuzzy rules, fuzzyfication process, and lastly defuzzification process. This research aims to develop a system that can assist in determining the quality of copra in PT Multi Nabati Sulawesi using fuzzy logic. The results of this research show that the system developed can determine the quality of copra with an accuracy of 95% and provide appropriate quality recommendations based on the conditions of the samples tested

Abstract

The Industrial Engineering Department is one of the departments at the Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University which uses websites as a medium for delivering information. This website is used to convey information regarding class schedules, list of lecturers attending, information about departments, information about labs, final assignments, alumni and department accreditation. To measure the level of usability and quality of websites, the SUS (System Usability Scale) and WebQual methods are used. Seventy-five students majoring in industrial engineering were respondents in this research by selecting answers using a Likert scale. The calculation result of the average SUS score is 54.9, where the score falls into the grade scale F, Adjective Ratings OK and the Acceptability range is marginal low. The results of WebQual calculations, the correlation value obtained is 1 and the significant value is 0. This means that there is a relationship between user satisfaction and the three dimensions of WebQual. From the SUS score and WebQual value, it shows that the website has very low quality so this research recommends improvements.
