Abstract

Drama merupakan salah satu bentuk sastra yang diajarkan sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran sastra. Permainan drama menjadi teknik yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi, ekspresi diri, serta pemahaman terhadap karya sastra. Selain itu, drama juga berperan dalam membentuk pola pikir dan karakter mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pemeran drama dalam pertunjukan, berdasarkan perspektif mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di Universitas Negeri Medan, Sumatera Utara, yang mengambil mata kuliah yang mencakup materi bermain drama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop Linktree based on argumentation text teaching materials at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. This development research produces products in the form of Linktree argumentation text teaching materials to improve the ability of Medan Vocational High School students to compose coherent arguments, select relevant evidence, and compose persuasive arguments using argumentation text. The research on the development of this teaching material uses the 4D development model. Linktree based argumentation text teaching materials are feasible and bring good development and are effectively used by 11th grade students of SMK Negeri 7 Medan.ds.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze phonological errors in the film Habibie and Ainun 3. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The qualitative descriptive method is fact-finding in the form of a systematic description of data and prioritizing the weight of data and research evidence, even though the research does not use calculations. The data collection technique is by watching films and recording the phonological errors spoken by the actors in the film. There are 20 phonological errors in the film Habibie and Ainun 3. These errors are found in the phonology area of ​​changing the pronunciation of phonemes with 11 errors, the area of ​​phoneme changes with 4 errors, the addition of phonemes with 2 errors, and the area of ​​changing diphthong sounds into single phonemes with 3 errors. Abstract

BIPA's strategy in planning teaching must involve the use of 3D animated films and e-book media because these two tools are very important to achieve learning objectives. The preparation of strategies and materials needs to be done carefully so that learning is effective. This research uses the library study method, which is a research approach carried out by examining books, literature, notes, reports and literary works that are relevant to the problem being researched. The goal is so that students can easily understand the material taught by the teacher. One way to achieve this is by elaborating on strategies and material related to elections, as well as adding local elements so that the material is not too difficult for students to understand. Therefore, strategic management and organization are essential to ensure learning is structured in the most effective and efficient way to achieve the desired goals.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of implementing the Ome Tv media application in learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA). BIPA learning has a big problem, namely student learning motivation. A boring class atmosphere is one of the reasons students are not motivated to study BIPA. Generating learning motivation among BIPA students aged teenagers and early adults is by providing something extraordinary and new in BIPA learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research using a case study approach. The results of this research indicate that the Ome Tv application media can be used to achieve these learning objectives efficiently. The Ome Tv media application is able to deliver listening, speaking, reading and grammar courses in BIPA learning. This can provide fun learning in the classroom. The Ome Tv application is not only interesting and entertaining for students, but there are many reasons to use it in BIPA learning.

Abstract

A legendary story that can be used as BIPA teaching material is the Legend of Lau Kawar. This legend comes from North Sumatra and tells the story of the origin of Lake Lau Kawar which is full of meaning and cultural values. The aim of this research is to describe the cultural values ​​of the Legend of Lau Kawar as an application in BIPA learning. This research method is qualitative research using library study data collection techniques, the data source is the story of the Lau Kawar legend originating from Karo. The results of the research show that BIPA students can learn the cultural values ​​contained in the legendary story of Lau Kawar as follows. First, the residents of Kawar village held a thanksgiving party as a form of gratitude to God for the blessings of an abundant harvest. Second, the residents of Kawar village worked together to create a thanksgiving party. Third, you must appreciate and respect. An attitude of respect and respect for parents is the most important thing for us to obey.

Abstract

Technological progress cannot be separated from progress in the field of education. one of which is the spread of digital technology in various fields. BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) is an effective strategy to promote Indonesia on the international stage. To implement BIPA learning effectively, it is important to apply a modern and relevant approach. Digital media is technology that facilitates human activities. The method used in this research is literature study. This method was carried out by collecting nine academic and conference papers published in Indonesian language journals from the Google Scholar database. The literature taken ranges from 2019 to 2024. In the nine articles analyzed, studies on the use of digital media in BIPA learning apply technological media used in BIPA learning at certain levels.

Abstract

Language is one of the most fundamental elements of culture in shaping and transmitting the identity of a nation. This article examines the role of the Indonesian language as a cultural bridge for foreign speakers in the process of recognizing and understanding Indonesian identity amid the increasingly rapid currents of globalization. Using a sociolinguistic and cultural studies approach, this article analyzes how the mastery of Indonesian by foreign speakers does not merely function as a tool of communication, but also as a medium for understanding the values, social norms, local wisdom, and cultural diversity that characterize the Indonesian nation. The findings indicate that foreign speakers who learn Indonesian undergo a profound process of cultural identity negotiation, while simultaneously contributing to the dissemination of Indonesia's image on the international stage. This article also discusses the challenges and opportunities encountered in learning Indonesian as a foreign language, as well as its implications for cultural diplomacy and the strengthening of Indonesia's position in global forums.
