Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture is introducing the Pelajar Pancasila Profile to students as a reflection of the embodiment of Indonesian students who have a passion for lifelong learning, have global competence, and behave in accordance with Pancasila values. Therefore, this study aims to: (1) find out how the application of the Pancasila precepts as an effort to strengthen the character of Pancasila students in elementary schools and (2) analyze the resulting impact .The research methodology applied is a literature study so that it can describe the theory, findings , as well as other research materials obtained from reference materials to be used as the basis for research activities which are then useful for developing a framework of thought related to the character of Pancasila Students. The results obtained are the importance of applying and familiarizing the Pancasila precepts in everyday life both at home and at school as an effort to strengthen the character of the Pancasila Student Profile so that it can produce students who behave in accordance with Pancasila values.

Abstract

In the learning process in Elementary School, the material delivered by the teacher often makes students play a role as recipients of information only, rather than being actively involved in the thinking process. As a result, students are busier taking notes, listening, or answering teacher questions, with little opportunity to actively collect and understand information. This has an impact on the level of student learning activity which is not optimal. This study was conducted to analyze the influence of the level of participation in active learning using the Active Learning Short Card Type model on elementary school students. This study uses the True Experimental method with a Posttest-Only Control Group research design. The population used in this study were grade VI students using simple random sampling. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire distributed to both classes. The data were analyzed using descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential statistical data analysis. The results of the t-test analysis showed that the significance (2-tailed) was 0.000, which means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted because the significance result was less than 0.005. It can be concluded that there is an influence between the experimental class that applies the Active Learning Short Card Type learning model and the control class that uses the conventional learning model.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka berfokus pada pembentukan karakter peserta didik berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, salah satunya melalui proyek P5. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi dongeng edukasi Palestina sebagai bagian dari proyek P5 guna membangun karakter empati dan toleransi peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre-eksperimental. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 peserta didik di SDN Kenongo 2 Tulangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui dua tahap, yaitu pretest sebelum diberi perlakuan/intervensi pembelajaran berbasis dongeng dan posttest setelah intervensi dilakukan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan uji t berpasangan untuk membandingkan nilai rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dongeng edukasi Palestina secara efektif meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap nilai-nilai kemanusiaan, keadilan, dan perdamaian. Peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan dalam karakter empati dan toleransi yang terlihat dari kemampuan mereka dalam memahami kondisi anak-anak di Palestina serta sikap menghargai perbedaan dalam lingkungan sekitar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa integrasi isu global dalam pembelajaran melalui media dongeng dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik sesuai dengan enam dimensi utama Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengenalkan dan menerapkan model pembelajaran paired story telling dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di sekolah dasar. Dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat mengetahui pentingnya keterampilan berbicara untuk peserta didik sekolah dasar maupun jenjang yang lebih tinggi, serta di kehidupan masyarakat. Karena berbicara adalah alat komunikasi seseorang untuk menyampaikan informasi, perasaan, pendapat, dan interaksi lainnya. Dengan berbicara, anak bisa mengembangkan bahasa mereka dan mendapatkan kosa kata baru. Sedangkan model pembelajaran paired story telling, dapat melatih peserta didik lebih terampil dan lebih percaya diri dalam berbicara. Karena model pembelajaran paired story telling merupakan kegiatan bercerita berpasangan dengan melatih artikulasi, intonasi, ekspresi, serta bisa mendapatkan kosa kata baru dalam berbagai cerita dongeng yang telah dibaca. Penelitian ini juga menjelaskan pentingnya peran guru untuk penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas III SDN Ganggang Panjang Tanggulangin dan berjumlah 24 sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis Pre Experimental dengan rancangan One Group Pretest - Posttest Design. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas (Shapiro – Wilk) dan menggunakan uji t paired sampel test dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar kognitif matematika siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode pada penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis asosiatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen lembar kuisioner gaya belajar yang telah lolos uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Populasi dan sampel ialah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD N 2 Tamanasri berjumlah 11 anak. Berdasarkan uji regresi linier sederhana diperoleh hasil nilai sig. < α, yaitu 0.000 < 0.050 artinya terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan dan positif antara gaya belajar visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik / VAK terhadap hasil belajar kognitif matematika. Besarnya pengaruh X terhadap Y ditunjukkan pada uji koefisien determinasi sebesar 77,3%. Secara keseluruhan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini membuktikan gaya belajar memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif matematika siswa sekolah dasar. Untuk memastikan setiap siswa dapat belajar dengan baik, guru dituntut agar mampu mengintegrasikan ketiga gaya belajar pada proses pengajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program literasi dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa di UPT SD Negeri 311 Gresik. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa program literasi telah diimplementasikan secara sistematis melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti membaca bersama, kunjungan ke perpustakaan, dan pemilihan buku bacaan mandiri, yang berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan minat baca siswa. Namun, masih ditemukan kendala seperti ketimpangan distribusi buku dan terbatasnya pemanfaatan fasilitas literasi digital. Kesimpulanya, program ini dinilai cukup efektif dalam membangun budaya membaca di sekolah,meskipun masih diperlukan peningkatan dalam aspek dokumentasi dan integrasi teknologi.

Abstract

The role of students is needed to improve student learning outcomes, in this case the students are expected to be able to manage or manage himself. This study aims to prove the difference between problem-based learning model and lecture learning. In addition, it also proves that the use of Problem-Based learning model and lecture learning in children who have high regulation and children who have low regulation of the results of learning Civics and to prove the interaction of the implementation of Learning and self-regulation affect the results of learning Civics class V in MI Muhammadiyah district Sidoarjo. The results of this study indicate 1. There are differences in the results of learning PKN class V by using Problem-Based Learning Model with the use of Lecture Learning in MI MuhammadiyahSidoarjo district; 2. There are differences in the results of Civics learning in grade V children who have high self-regulation and children who have low regulation; 3. There is an interaction of the application of learning and Self Regulation has an effect on the learning result of VII C grade in MI Muhammadiyah of Sidoarjo Regency.

Abstract

Since the emergence of the global COVID-19 pandemic, faith-based philanthropic activities have become widely attractive topics to be investigated. Yet, there has been little exploration related to gender issues. This study examined faith-based women’s engagement in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak and its impacts focusing on a local context in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Notably, the investigation aimed to explore the extent to which Aisyiyah's philanthropy in addressing the global issue. To achieve the purpose of the study, it carried out a qualitative method incorporating three data collection techniques: semi-structured interview involving 17 informants; participant observation focused on Aisyiyah’s programs conducted to overcome the COVID-19; and a desk study gained from documents, reports, media (and social media) such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels. The result delineates that while some scholars divide two paradigms of community engagement which are utilitarian and social justice, Aisyiyah in Sidoarjo has played vital contributions oriented toward social justice. This approach has been done through various programs; public awareness building, embracing the COVID-19 patients, and enhancing social solidarity to reduce the outbreak effects. These findings contribute to filling the literature gap on religious-based women's philanthropy in dealing with the pandemic. However, it is critical to explore the extent to which Aisyiyah's commitment to humanitarian activities for a long-term period since no one can even predict when it will end. Another pivotal issue that needs further investigation is Aisyiyah’s way in mobilizing social capital to support its philanthropic activities.

Abstract

This study aims to improve character with local culture-based learning in the Merdeka Era learning through games. This study uses a qualitative method, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study was conducted in class V at MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kedungbanteng Tanggulangin. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in students' religious character, tolerance and patriotism through games based on local wisdom. to see and find out how local game-based learning combined with local knowledge affects the development of students' religious character, tolerance, and patriotism. This study seeks to clarify the efficacy of this new teaching strategy through in-depth analysis. The results should be a guideline for curriculum development, policy making, and educational practices to produce moral and broad-minded successors to the country.

Abstract

This study aims to develop website-based Civics E-Book lecture media to improve the cultural and civic literacy skills of PGSD students of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University. This research was conducted based on the results of research conducted by researchers funded by DRPM Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo in the 2021/2022 fiscal year with the title "Cultural and Civic Literacy Abilities of PGSD UMSIDA Students in the 21st Century", where it was found that the cultural and civic literacy abilities of PGSD UMSIDA students of 68.4% had quite high cultural and civic literacy abilities. Based on this, eating needs to be improved so that the cultural and civic literacy skills of UMSIDA PGSD students become high, especially in Civic Education (Civics) lectures through a website-based Civics E-Book. The research is a Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE version development model which is a synthesize of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation.
