Abstract

SMA Negeri 2 Majene Sulawesi Barat merupakan Sekolah Menengah Atas yang terletak di Majene Sulawesi Barat. Sajian seni di sekolah ini selalu berkembang dan berkembang. Ekosistem seni yang dikembangkan mencakup semua genre. Fenomena pembelajaran teater merupakan salah satu fenomena yang paling banyak dikaji karena orientasi seni dalam kerangka seni rupa, tari, musik, dan teater belum mempunyai landasan nilai-nilai lokal yang kuat. Meskipun demikian ekosistem kesenian berkembang tetap terdapat permasalahan sosial yangg turut hadir dan membuat ketidakstabilan. Atas fenomena permasalah maka lahirlah pelatihan yang diinisiasi institusi. Tujuan pengabdian adalah pelatihan teater rakyat Kondobuleng berbasis Board games. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis, perancangan, pengenalan dan roleplay, simulasi games dan evaluasi. Pelatihan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana pembelajaran, sarana refleksi, perubahan dan pengajaran berharga bagi siswa SMA Negeri 2 Majene Sulawesi Selatan. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dengan model pendampingan bagi peserta atau mitra agar pelatihan lebih aktif, kreatif dan menyenangkan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut adalah: (1) Merancang pelatihan teater melalui Board Games, dan (2) melaksanakan kegiatan games berbasis permainan tradisional. Selain itu, pelatihan ini menghasilkan luaran sebagai berikut: (1) Mengurai persoalan dengan pendekatan teater yang menjadi patron serta meningkatkan nilai tradisional melalui pembelajaran Board games Teater Rakyat Kondobuleng

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pertunjukan teater rakyat Kondobuleng representasi nilai siri’ na pacce (harga diri dan kehormatan). Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan interdisiplin. Pertunjukan Teater Rakyat Kondobuleng (PTRK) merupakan salah satu karya seni kolektif yang di dalamnya memuat beragam unsur seni yang saling terkait antar satu dengan yang lain, tokoh/karakter, pemeranan, dialog, kostum, rias, properti, tari atau gerak, musik, dan lagu. Penelitian ini menguraikan fenomena pertunjukan dengan menggunakan salah satu teori dari John Fiske yang membaca realitas seni dengan berfokus pada representasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pada tahapan analisis data diolah dengan bentuk reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan representasi nilai siri’ na pacce yang berhubungan dengan sosiokultural masyarakat pesisir Bugis-Makassar meliputi mempertahankan diri dan kehormatan, memegang teguh pendirian, menumbuhkan kerja gotong royong, menanamkan sifat tolong menolong, menumbuhkan etos kerja, menempatkan seseorang dengan keahliannya, mengambil keputusan secara arif dan bijaksana, serta menjunjung tinggi rasa kesetiakawanan. Nilai yang disampaikan termuat pada adegan dari pertunjukan teater rakyat Kondobuleng. Kata kunci: Pertunjukan, Teater, Representasi, Nilai siri’ na pacce.

Abstract

Abstrak – Bahasa Indonesia Siswa di SMA 3 Takalar masih menunjukkan minat baca yang rendah, terutama dalam memahami teks. Sampai hari ini tidak adanya aktivitas belajar membaca dengan menghadirkan imajinasi dan bahkan lebih jauh itu persoalan dramatic reading dalam pembacaannya belum pernah dilakukan. Persoalan ini ditandai dengan pembacaan yang dilakukan kurang menarik dan tidak relevan dengan perasaan yang dialami oleh siswa. Pada prakteknya, solusi yang ditawarkan dengan mensosialisasikan pelatihan teater dan menggunakan metode dramatic reading untuk meningkatkan minat baca secara praktik pertunjukan sederhana. kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan tentunya mereka diarahkan untuk melanjutkan ke sesi selanjutnya yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan praktik secara langsung. Praktik ini adalah praktik dramatic reading. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode praktikal ini semakin memberikan pengetahuan yang beragam. Sehingga dengan model pelatihan yang mengeksplorasi ruang baca dengan dialog yang menggambarkan penokohan dan peristiwa berlangsung efektif dalam meningkatkan minat baca dari peserta pelatihan di SMA Negeri 3 Takalar.Kata kunci: Pelatihan; Teater; Dramatic Reading; Minat Baca

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, dan mengungkap nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam pertunjukan teater rakyat Kondobuleng. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif jenis pencarian pesanan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter terungkap dalam pertunjukan teater rakyat Kondobuleng, antara lain: (1) jujur, yaitu menyatakan apa adanya, berani karena memang benar, percaya, (2) tanggung jawab, bekerja dengan etos kerja yang tinggi, (3) berpikir cerdas, cermat dan tepat, menjunjung tinggi kebenaran dan kebajikan. (4) sehat dan bersih, menghormati ketertiban, terampil, menjaga diri sendiri dan lingkungan, (5) peduli, santun, toleran terhadap perbedaan, mampu bekerja sama, cinta damai dalam menghadapi masalah, (6) kreatif, mampu memecahkan masalah secara inovatif, berani mengambil keputusan dengan cepat dan tepat, menampilkan sesuatu yang luar biasa (unik), memiliki ide-ide baru, (7)gotong royong, mau bekerja sama dengan baik.

Abstract

The Sere Bissu ritual performance in Bone Regency is a cultural heritage with significant meanings that have yet to be fully explored, particularly in relation to its role in forming character and community ethics through education. This study examines educational ideals in Bone Regency's Sere Bissu performance through three primary questions: (1) Analyzing performance structure; (2) Identifying educational values; and (3) Analyzing moral educational values' significance and function. This study is descriptive and qualitative. Data collection was carried out through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation during the implementation of the Sere Bissu ritual. This approach was chosen to understand the context and interpretation of values ​​holistically. The research found that (1) Sere Bissu is a ritual performance with multiple stages, including Mappangolo Mappesabbi, Mappakaraja Alusu, Sere Alusu, Sere Mappabbitte, Sere Bibbi, Sere Mangko, Sere Maddampu Alameng, Sere Lemma’, Mammemmang, Maggiri, and Mappatabe. (2) Educational values encompass religious, social, and moral aspects that foster faith, ethics, and cultural character. (3) These educational values emphasize religious devotion, societal harmony, and moral awareness as key foundations in Bugis culture. This study enhances knowledge of educational values by incorporating local wisdom. This study provides practical guidance for educational institutions and cultural activists to conserve and internalize Bugis’ values, particularly in the Sere Bissu rite, as a foundation for national identity.

Abstract

This paper addresses modernization's propensity to undermine local wisdom. This research asks how the Pakarena Anida Dance can teach young people educational and cultural values in a sustainable way. This study seeks to (1) identify and define the educational values in each Pakarena Anida Dance movement, property, and accompaniment. (2) the Sanggar Bhakti Seni 05 Makassar's role in preserving this dance is to carry on indigenous wisdom. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. We chose this approach to provide a rich, in-depth, and holistic picture of the phenomenon under study. The main subjects of the research are Sanggar Bhakti Seni 05 (High School 5 Makassar), with a focus on the studio managers, trainers, and students who are actively involved in learning the Pakarena Anida Dance. Participatory observation, in-depth interviews with key informants, and document analysis of studio curriculum and training methods collected data. Research shows that the Pakarena Anida Dance is a rich source of local wisdom. Education emphasizes discipline, ethics/courtesy (particularly amongst men and women), patience, and respect for ancestors. An integrated approach to technical dance instruction and cultural philosophy at Sanggar Bhakti Seni 05 Makassar helps students internalize these principles. This study contributes theoretically to performing arts studies as a source of socio-cultural knowledge and practically to educational institutions and local governments in developing cultural preservation policies based on non-formal education and arts communities.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of character values in the La Kadandio poem in the Linda Dance performance of the Muna community through a hermeneutic approach. As an oral literary work, La Kadandio is not merely a dance accompaniment, but rather a representation of identity, collective memory, and cultural values rooted in the historical narrative of the exile of the 11th King of Muna, La Ode Ngkadiri. This study aims to: (1) look at the structure and deeper meaning of the La Kadandio poem as a cultural text; (2) understand the character values shown in the symbols of the Linda Dance performance; (3) explain how the text, symbols, and social culture are connected using the ideas of Paul Ricoeur and Clifford Geertz; and (4) create a model to combine these values to enhance cultural education. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and hermeneutic analysis of the poem text and performance context. The results show that the La Kadandio poem in the Linda Dance contains essential character values such as fortitude, loyalty, and local wisdom. These findings are expected to provide a comprehensive understanding of cultural symbolism and provide practical contributions to the preservation of local culture and strengthening character education based on Muna local wisdom for the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character education values contained in the lyrics of Sunday School songs at the Toraja Church Sunday School (SMGT) of the Rantepangli Congregation and describe the implementation of Sunday School songs to improve character education at the Toraja Church Sunday School (SMGT) of the Rantepangli Congregation. The type of research used in this study is descriptive and document analysis method. Descriptive method can be interpreted as a method used to describe or analyze a research result but is not used to make broader conclusions. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis, because it aims to describe the image and form of the song with the meaning and values contained in the song. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. From this study, data was obtained that there are several songs used in the Sunday School inadah that contain character education values. such as; (1) The song “S’gala Puji Syukur”. (2) The song “Aku Anak Terang”. (3) The song “ Mari Kerja Sama-sama”. (4) The song “Aku Senang Jadi Anak Tuhan”. (5) The song “Lima Jari Kananku”. (6) The song “Indonesia Negaraku”. (7) The song “Baca Kitab Suci”. (8) The song Ku Kasihi Kau dengan Kasih Tuhan”. (9) The song “Kasihi Musuhmu”. Sunday School songs are taught to children during regular Sunday worship services. Teachers serve as role models in teaching the songs. In this process, Sunday School teachers utilize technology such as LCD monitors and loudspeakers to facilitate children's understanding of the songs. The repetitive use of songs can help children understand the values contained within the songs, particularly the character education values that are beneficial for child development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the representation of character education values in traditional art performances in Dusun Lantaboko, Bontokassi Village, Parangloe District, Gowa Regency. The art form examined is gambus music, which, as one of the traditional arts of the Makassar community, serves a broader function than mere entertainment. It acts as a medium for conveying moral messages, a space for social interaction, and a means of character formation rooted in local wisdom. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with gambus performers and community leaders, and documentation of performances. The findings reveal that gambus art in Dusun Lantaboko embodies four main representations of character education values: (1) honesty, reflected in the spontaneity of the lyrics, openness of expression, and alignment of moral messages with social realities; (2) responsibility, manifested in the performers’ commitment to preserving the tradition, discipline in performance, and the community’s awareness of its collective role in cultural preservation; (3) creativity, evident in lyrical improvisation, originality of ideas, and the use of simple artistic tools as supporting instruments; and (4) mutual cooperation, expressed through community collaboration in preparing performances, voluntary social participation, and collective, non-formal patterns of cultural transmission
