Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the learning process quality in the Agricultural Industrial Technology Program at Universitas Negeri Makassar by evaluating satisfaction, analyzing gaps, and mapping priority attributes to provide data-driven management recommendations. Methods: This descriptive quantitative survey involved 121 active students, split into pilot and main groups. Content validity was verified using Aiken’s V with 5 experts. Construct validity was tested via Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) in JASP, and reliability via Cronbach's Alpha. Data analysis integrated the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). Findings: Aiken's V confirmed content validity (V ≥ 0.87). CFA eliminated 5 weak items, leaving 40 valid items with excellent reliability (alpha = 0.958). Indicator CSI scores reflected "Satisfied" and "Very Satisfied" categories (70.08%–84.40%). The grand mean of performance (X = 3.99) fell below importance (Y = 4.46), yielding a -0.47 gap. The IPA matrix identified two critical Quadrant I (Top Priority) attributes: lab staff responsiveness to technical glitches (Item 18) and flexible personal tutoring for struggling students (Item 34). Research Implications: These findings direct study program management to bypass high-cost overhauls, reallocating those resources to optimize laboratory staff responsiveness and more personalized student mentoring. Additionally, the CSI baseline indicates that student satisfaction remains anchored by strong pedagogy, proving that interventions must target specific technical and administrative bottlenecks. Originality: This study hybridizes the SERVQUAL framework with the latest National Higher Education Standards (Permendiktisaintek No. 39/2025), statistically reinforced by CFA to map academic dynamics in a developing engineering program.

Abstract

Social assistance distribution in Bontoa Village, Maros Regency, was previously handled through manual records, which reduced administrative efficiency, constrained transparency, and increased exposure to data manipulation. A web-based information system was designed and implemented to support targeted distribution for low-income households at the village level. System development followed the waterfall model, covering requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Empirical inputs were obtained from field observations, document analysis, and user involvement during evaluation. Functional validity was examined through black-box testing, while user acceptance was measured using a structured questionnaire administered to ten respondents representing village officials and community members. Descriptive quantitative analysis produced an average acceptance score of 87.2% (44/50), indicating strong perceived usability and relevance. The implemented system improved data accessibility, strengthened structured beneficiary management, and supported more efficient administrative workflows in distribution and reporting. These findings add empirical support for deploying web-based governance tools in rural social assistance settings where administrative capacity and information control remain limited.

Abstract

Radar is a crucial component of the Air Traffic Services system, supporting Air Traffic Controllers in monitoring aircraft movements and maintaining flight safety. At Airnav Indonesia Makassar Air Traffic Service Centre (MATSC) Branch, the radar disturbance recording process is still done manually, potentially leading to recording errors, reporting delays, and inefficiencies in technical evaluation. This study aims to develop a web-based radar disturbance monitoring and analysis system integrated with TopSky ATS that automatically detects, records, and visualises radar disturbances. The system is designed to recognise changes in radar status, calculate failure duration, record the number of disturbance events, and present this information in tables and dashboards in real time. Radar log data is obtained from the Control Work Position (CWP37) device via the TopSky Event Log, then parsed using the ASTERIX protocol categories 34 and 48, and stored in a MySQL database. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, while system evaluation was conducted through black-box testing and User Acceptance Testing. The results show that the system can accurately detect and display radar disturbance information in real time. The UAT, involving 10 technicians, demonstrated a user acceptance rate of 93.2%, categorised as very good. These findings demonstrate that the developed system can improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in radar monitoring and support data-driven technical evaluations in air traffic services operations.
