Abstract

Fotografi produk merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting dalam mempromosikan sebuah perusahaan, dengan fotografi yang menarik dapat meningkatkan nilai brand produk baik dalam citra di mata masyarakat maupun perkembangan suatu perusahaan. Melihat betapa pentingnya peranan fotografi produk, maka Banyumili Store yang sedang merintis usaha dalam bidang produk distro di wilayah Ponorogo tentu memerlukannya. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah untuk mengenalkan perusahaan melalui fotografi produk sebagai media promosi kepada masyarakat, sehingga mampu bersaing dengan perusahaan distro lainnya. Fotografi produk Banyumili Store dirancang sesuai dengan visi misi dan citra perusahaan yang ingin ditampilkan sehingga dihasilkan forografi produk yang modern namun tetap tidak meninggalkan ciri khasnya. Metode perancangan yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data ke lokasi perusahaan dan mewawancarai pemilik perusahaan, hasil perancangan ini menyatakan bahwa Banyumili Store memerlukan fotografi produk sebagai media promosi dalam media visual seperti katalog digital, katalog cetak, x banner, poster dan merchandise.

Abstract

Penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila kepada siswa kelas 2 di SDICT Al Abidin Surakarta melalui program Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) diterapkan dalam kurikulum merdeka. Guna mendukung kegiatan tersebut maka prodi Desain Komunikasi visual dan Desain Interior Universitas Sahid Surakarta berbagi pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan P5 dengan sekolah yang ingin menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan keberhasilan program P5 untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diinginkan melalui kegiatan melukis diatas kaos untuk siswa kelas2 SDICT Al Abidin Surakarta. Salah satu kegiatan P5 tersebut adalah 1) Pengenalan teknik menggambar di kaos; 2) Pengenalan Teknik Mewarnai di kaos; 3) Melakukan melukis diatas kaos; 4) Gelar karya atau penghargaan untuk karya (pameran). Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari pembelajaran P5. Acara puncak kegiatan P5 adalah gelar karya, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan penghargaan kepada peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi atau rujukan untuk metode pembelajaran proyek saat ini di kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Fotografi kini menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan, terutama dalam membuka peluang usaha. Salah satu tujuan fotografi adalah untuk membantu promosi suatu produk, khususnya kain tenun yang menjadi produk unggulan di Desa Talingsing, Kabupaten Klaten. Salah satu unsur yang mendorong penjualan produk adalah fotografi produk. Fotografi media digital dilakukan dengan menggunakan telepon pintar (smartphone), seperti iPhone, Android, atau kamera DSLR, dengan satu atau dua aplikasi, lensa tambahan, dan latar belakang kotak atau kertas. Inisiatif promosi produk dapat mendongkrak ekonomi dan pariwisata setempat. Mengambil foto produk yang menarik perhatian merupakan salah satu cara untuk mendukung promosi. Mengetahui cara mengambil foto produk merupakan komponen penting dari kampanye pemasaran yang bertujuan untuk menarik pelanggan. Untuk itu, diperlukan pelatihan teknik fotografi agar dapat mengambil foto produk. Dengan bantuan beberapa mahasiswa dari Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual, dosen dari program studi tersebut melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Berdasarkan monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan selama kegiatan, keterampilan peserta workshop dalam menggunakan teknik fotografi untuk mengambil foto produk yang menarik dan berkualitas meningkat hingga 64%.

Abstract

Film does not only as entertainment but also convey a message that can influence the people’s attitudes and perceptions. Film can also be used as a medium of anti-drug campaign. It conveys a message about the danger of drug abuse and describes a rehabilitation program for healing users. One film aims to anti-drug campaign is ‘Slank Nggak Ada Matinya’. This film is about the danger of drugs and the important role of the people who support and assist the member of Slank. The objective of this study is to find out the forms of social and family’s support and its meaning as described in the film ‘Slank Nggak Ada Matinya’. This study is qualitative descriptive. Data source for this study is the scenes in the film ‘Slank Nggak Ada Matinya, while the data are all the scenes in this film that contain elements of family and social support. This study used a two-stage analytical semiotic of Roland Barthes. The first stage is the analysis to determine the denotative meaning by seeing the scenes – that classified as data – and paying attention to the utterances of the actors that describe a form of support. The second stage is the analysisin determining the connotative meaning by seeing what the actors do in the scenes that shows family and social support The result of this study shows that the support appeared in the film ‘Slank Nggak Ada Matinya’ are social tangible support, social emotional support, social expectation support, family instrumental support and family informational support. Every scene contains various meaning, namely : (1) in the category social tangible support, the scene shows the direct aid and attention to his friends; (2) in social emotional support, it shows the close relationship between friends and family; (3) in social expectation support, it contains some advices indicated for friends; (4) in family instrumental support, it shows direct aids to the family member; (5) in family informational support, it shows a mother’s role in giving advice to her son

Abstract

Character education prioritizes the formation of students' character which refers to the multiple intelligent method or multiple intelligences. A multiple intelligence is not only seen from one's logical intelligence, but also intelligence in having the ability to solve problems, character education aims at inculcating knowledge, love, sensitivity, discipline awareness, independence and creativity in children, which is to promote the cultivation of noble character in oneself. protege. SDII Al Abidin Surakarta applies a character education curriculum in its teaching and learning process. Elementary school age has sensitivity in receiving information in visual form. Especially visuals in the form of figures, so that in introducing and familiarizing students at SDII Al Abidin Surakarta, they need figures. Figures that represent the character of the students of SDII Al Abidin Surakarta. Based on this, it is necessary to research on the elements forming the character figure of SDII Al Abidin Surakarta character education by using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques by means of interviews.

Abstract

Anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is a 2-dimensional animated series from Japan known as anime. This anime has 4 main characters, namely Kamado Tanjiro, Kamado Nezuko, Agatsuma Zenitsu, and Hashibira Inosuke who are members of the Demon Slayer squad. The research aims to determine the visual elements and meaning of the main characters of the Demon Slayer anime. The meaning of each main character is analyzed and described using design elements and the semiotic perspective of denotation and connotation using Roland Barthes' theory. This research used qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques implemented literature study and observation. The results show that everything in the character has its own meaning and function. It is also the characteristic of each character that makes them stand out. The characters' colors also describe each character's personality and special features. The characters Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are easy to remember with their unique characteristics. Abstract

The design of the comic “Pembawa Cahya”t was motivated by the low quantity of Batak cultural web comics, especially in the action and fantasy genres. As for themes, there is a tendency to emphasize visual themes, such as traditional clothing or traditional houses, so that they don't really seem like the culture that exists in Indonesia today. This results in less interest in web comics with local themes. This design aims to make the audience more interested in local Indonesian cultural themes. Web comics were chosen because they area relevant entertainment medium in the millennial era where platforms and sites providing web comics have penetrated society. The story of The “Pembawa Cahaya” is designed so that the fantasy story wrapped in horror remains relevant by adding elements of kinship and cultural socialization in the local community. Most local web comics do not really raise social and cultural issues that are relevant to society, so they have few fans. Likewise, the issue of the harsh upbringing of sons from Batak families, even though there is a more fundamental reason for what actually happened, is rarely corrected in most Batak-themed story works. Using themes that are more local and relevant to society is aimed at reviving public interest in local web comics and can use web comics as a medium for promoting local cultures which is also an introduction to how the concept of culture actually applies, not just what the community interprets for themselves. Alone. This design uses observations in various fields, from provider platforms such as webtoon or comic toon as well as in data collection which is based on journals that are relevant to the theme raised. The design concept for this design is "Local culture in the modern era" whose concept is based on combining the concept of modernization with local culture that seems traditional.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with many potential places that can be used as tourist destinations. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) states that as of 2021 Indonesia has a total of 2,552 destinations in the tourism industry. The development of the tourism industry in Indonesia was hampered by the pandemic that had hit the country for approximately 2 years, which caused a narrow space for tourists to move. On the other hand, the use of digital technology has increased during the pandemic era. Artificial intelligence is one of the technologies that also developed during the pandemic. This technology allows for a program to think like a human and help facilitate daily activities and work. This design has the aim of creating an application display design that can implement artificial intelligence in a mobile application for the needs of the tourism industry. The method used in this design is the Design Thinking method popularized by Kelley and Brown from IDEO, consisting of the Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing stages. The result of this design is a design of a mobile application interface for the tourism industry, with the implementation of artificial intelligence and various features, and contains information about various tourist destinations, as well as designing its trials easily by users.
