Abstract

Doctrine, belief, or a set of norms and teachings of God brought by the Prophet are universal and absolute truth. But when it reaches to the practice stage of its adherents, it will be intertwined with the quality of understanding and appreciation that are relative, for every appreciation cannot be separated from certain socio-cultural settings that surround its adherents. Basically, the divine religions are allied religions that have historical roots and teaching substance  which is not different, so that at the level of application it should not give birth to different patterns of appreciation and patterns of social behavior. This paper will discuss whether there is a meeting point for the diversity of views and religious understandings brought by the prophets of the heavenly religion, and how the relationship between these views is in an effort to build harmony between religious communities.

Abstract

Abstract

Nata is a fermented product made from cellulose and synthesized by Acetobacter xylinum, offering potential as a functional food rich in dietary fiber. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of varying volumes of molasses and mung bean sprout (Phaseolus radiatus L.) broth as sources of carbon and nitrogen on the crude fiber content of nata produced from watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) rind waste. Each fermentation medium had a total volume of 1000 mL and included the following treatments: N1 (5% molasses and 5% sprout broth), N2 (10% molasses and 10% sprout broth), N3 (15% molasses and 15% sprout broth), and N0 (control), which used coconut water, granulated sugar, and food grade urea. Fermentation was carried out under static conditions at room temperature for 10 days, and the resulting nata was analyzed for crude fiber content using the gravimetric method. The results showed that variations in the volumes of molasses and sprout broth significantly influenced the crude fiber content of nata (p < 0.05). The Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) further confirmed statistically significant differences among treatments. Treatment N2 produced the highest crude fiber content (8.05 ± 0.02%), while the control (N0) yielded the lowest value (5.11 ± 0.01%). The absence of nata formation in N3 indicated substrate saturation and nutritional imbalance. These findings emphasize the importance of carbon and nitrogen balance in optimizing nata production from agroindustrial waste. Treatment N2 was identified as the most effective in enhancing both crude fiber content and overall nata quality.

Abstract

This article discusses al-Ghazali's thoughts regarding the structure of the Qur'an which is different from generally known patterns. Al-Ghazali with his Sufistic tendencies rearranged the verses and letters of the Koran into two categories, namely Jawahir and Durar. Jawahir is a verse that is directly related to the nature of Allah, while Durar is a verse that contains instructions to Allah's servants to follow the straight path through righteous deeds that are carried out firmly. Al-Ghazali views the Koran as a means to achieve makrifatullah. The research method used is a literature study with a structuralist approach by examining relevant primary and secondary sources. This article shows that Al-Ghazali's structure of the Qur'an is unique and new, namely linking the verses of the Qur'an to the nature of Allah and the straight path to makrifatullah. This article also contributes to the development of Al-Qur'an studies, especially in the fields of structure and Sufism.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of accountability and transparency of personal wealth reporting by the Aceh People's Representative Council (DPRA) through e-LHKPN on the trust of the Acehnese people. The investigation is motivated by the high number of corruption cases in Aceh, with 13 cases in 2021 resulting in losses of IDR 25,994,129,987, which increased to 27 cases by April 2022. Transparency through the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN) is crucial to mitigating corruption, yet the DPRA demonstrates the lowest compliance rate among regional institutions. Employing a mixed-method design, the study combines primary data from interviews with DPRA representatives and questionnaire responses from 120 Acehnese voters. The theoretical framework is based on Edward III’s inhibiting factors for policy implementation, and the data are analyzed using multiple linear regression. Findings reveal significant communication, resource, disposition, and bureaucratic structure issues hindering the effective implementation of the LHKPN policy. Accountability and transparency through e-LHKPN significantly influence public trust, explaining 77.7% of the trust variance (p < 0.05). While the bureaucratic structure is generally effective, inconsistent communication, technical challenges, and weak punitive measures for non-compliance undermine policy adherence. These findings underscore the need for enhanced communication, resource allocation, and enforcement mechanisms to improve accountability and transparency, thereby fostering greater public trust in the DPRA.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to analyze the management of Trans Patriot urban service financing in Bekasi City from 2018 to 2022. Using Olander’s Public Finance Management (PFM) theory, the research focuses on six dimensions: strategic planning, budget preparation, budget execution, accounting and monitoring, reporting and audit, and policy review. A post-positivist approach is employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with six informants and a literature study, followed by qualitative data analysis. The results indicate several issues: uncertainty in budget execution, a heavy reliance on subsidies and capital participation, and a lack of transparency in financial reporting and auditing. Specifically, problems with policy communication among stakeholders and non-compliance with Government Regulation No. 12 of 2019 and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 77 of 2020 were identified. The study concludes that the Bekasi City Government needs to resolve policy uncertainty, diversify funding sources, and enhance transparency and accountability through comprehensive audits and reporting mechanisms like LKPD and LK BUMD. Regular policy evaluations of Trans Patriot's financial management are also recommended. Despite limitations in data sources, the research underscores the urgency for better financial governance to ensure the sustainability of public transportation services in Bekasi.
