Abstract

Fokusdalampenelitian ini adalah pengaruh strategi,kompetensi professional dankompetensipedagogikterhadap kinerja guru SMK negeridanswastajurusanpertanian di kabupaten Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dalah mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh strategi peningkatankompetensi, dan pengaruhnyaterhadap kinerja guru SMK negeri dan swasta jurusan pertanian di kabupaten Semarang. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan observasi. Hasil analisis mengarah pada kesimpulan bahwa kompetensi profesional berpengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, kompetensi pedagogic berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja, strategi peningkatan kompetensi berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja, kompetensi profesional berpengaruh terhadap strategi peningkatan kompetensi guru, kompetensi pedagogic berpengaruh terhadap strategi peningkatan kompetensi guru, kompetensi profesional berpengaruh terhadap kinerja melalui strategi peningkatan kompetensi, kompetensi pedagogic berpengaruh terhadap kinerja melalui strategi peningkatan kompetensi

Abstract

Teacher performance is influenced by several factors, including teacher commitment, teacher profesional competence and teacher motivation, the higher the commitment, profesional competence and motivation of a teacher, the better the performance. The purpose of this study is to obtain concrete evidence about teacher motivation in mediating the effect of teacher commitment and teacher professional competence on learning outcomes. This research used a quantitative approach with a hypothesis study research design. The population of this study was 297 Vocational High School teachers in Blora Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. So that a final sample of 109 people was obtained. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that commitment had a direct influence of 34% on teacher performance. Professional competence has a direct influence of 26.1% on teacher performance and teacher motivation has a direct effect of 44.5% on teacher performance. Commitment has an indirect effect of 11.1% through motivation on teacher performance and professional competence has an indirect effect of 24.2% through teacher motivation on teacher performance.

Abstract

Teachers’ performances that had not been maximum required more attention. Teachers’ performances were influenced by several factors, such as academic supervision, principal leadership, and performance motivation. Higher academic supervision, principal leadership, and teacher performance motivation would lead to better performance. This research aims to analyze the academic supervision and principal leadership through performance motivation as a mediator toward the Publics Islamic JHS teachers' performance in Demak Regency. The applied approach in this research was quantitative. The research population consisted of the teachers of Public Islamic JHS in Demak Regency. The sampling data technique was purposive sampling. The applied data analysis techniques were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The findings showed that academic supervision, principal leadership, and performance motivation were correlated directly to teachers’ performance. The academic supervision and principal leadership did not have a direct effect moderated by performance motivation toward teaches’ performance.
