Abstract

The coastal communities of Lampung have a tradition known as Ngumbai Lawok, which is closely tied to their livelihood as fishermen. This study aims to explore the local wisdom embedded in the Ngumbai Lawok tradition in the Lampung Coastal Regency and assess its potential as a source for teaching local history and culture. A qualitative approach, using ethnographic methods, was employed for data collection through observation, interviews, and literature review. The findings reveal that the Ngumbai Lawok tradition encompasses cultural values, including religious, social, cultural, and educational aspects. These cultural values can be integrated into history instruction, particularly for high school students in grade X, stage E. The inclusion of the Ngumbai Lawok tradition as an alternative source for local history education is essential for enhancing historical awareness and fostering a stronger sense of local identity and character among the people of Lampung. Furthermore, this study highlights the relevance of local traditions in modern education and their ability to bridge the gap between cultural heritage and contemporary learning approaches. The integration of such traditions into the curriculum can also promote a deeper understanding of the role of culture in shaping regional identity.

Abstract

Quarter life crisis adalah kondisi psikologis yang lazim dialami oleh individu berusia antara 18 hingga 25 tahun, terutama mahasiswa yang tengah menjalani masa transisi menuju kedewasaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali berbagai faktor yang melatarbelakangi munculnya quarter life crisis di kalangan mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap lima orang informan yang pernah mengalami krisis tersebut. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa quarter life crisis dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor dari dalam diri maupun dari lingkungan luar. Faktor internal meliputi ekspektasi yang tidak tercapai, keraguan terhadap diri sendiri, dan ketidakpastian masa depan. Sementara itu, faktor eksternal meliputi tekanan sosial dari pertanyaan seputar kelulusan dan pekerjaan, paparan terhadap gaya hidup ideal di media sosial, tuntutan zaman yang serba cepat, serta ekspektasi budaya dari keluarga dan teman sebaya. Tekanan-tekanan ini memicu kecemasan, perbandingan sosial, dan ketidakstabilan emosi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa quarter life crisis adalah sebuah pengalaman yang rumit dan memiliki banyak aspek yang dipengaruhi oleh beragam faktor kehidupan individu dewasa muda. Pemahaman terhadap faktor-faktor ini penting untuk mendorong strategi coping yang efektif dan penguatan dukungan sosial bagi mahasiswa yang sedang menghadapi fase ini. Abstract Quarter life crisis is a psychological condition commonly experienced by individuals aged between 18 and 25 years, particularly university students who are in the transitional phase toward adulthood. This study aims to explore the various factors that underlie the emergence of quarter life crisis among students. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews with five informants who had previously experienced such a crisis. The findings indicate that the quarter life crisis is influenced by both internal and external factors. Internal factors include unmet expectations, self-doubt, and uncertainty about the future. On the other hand, external factors involve social pressure related to questions about graduation and employment, exposure to idealized lifestyles on social media, the fast-paced demands of modern life, and cultural expectations from family and peers. These pressures trigger anxiety, social comparison, and emotional instability. The study concludes that the quarter life crisis is a complex and multidimensional experience shaped by various aspects of a young adult's life. Understanding these factors is essential for promoting effective coping strategies and strengthening social support for students facing this stage.

Abstract

Kesiapan kerja dinilai sangat penting bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) khususnya yang memiliki orientasi untuk bekerja setelah lulus dari sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosi, future time perspective, dan sikap pada konseling karier terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel berjumlah 400 orang dengan menggunakan accidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari Work readiness Inventory, Emotional Quotient Index, Indonesian version of Future Time Perspective scale dan Attitudes Toward Career Counseling Scale. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosi, future time perspective dan sikap pada konseling karier memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Kesiapan kerja yang tinggi pada siswa SMK dipengaruhi oleh tingginya kecerdasan emosi, future time perspective, dan dan sikap pada konseling karir.

Abstract

The internalization of moderation values in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at public universities is a strategic effort to cultivate young generations with an inclusive, tolerant, and adaptive Islamic perspective in response to global dynamics. This study aims to analyze the approaches used to internalize moderation values in PAI learning processes, focusing on how these values can be effectively integrated into curricula and learning activities. The research employs a qualitative method with a literature review and library research approach, referencing various sources such as scientific journals, books, policy documents, and previous research reports. The findings reveal that the internalization of moderation values in PAI teaching can be achieved through an integrative approach, where values such as tolerance, justice, and harmony are incorporated into teaching materials, learning methods, and assessment processes. Additionally, the use of discussion methods, case studies, and project-based learning on moderation values has proven effective in fostering understanding and moderate attitudes among students. However, challenges include resistance from some groups who do not fully comprehend the importance of moderation, insufficient training for lecturers, and limited literature supporting the application of moderation values in local contexts. This study recommends that public universities enhance lecturer training, develop moderation-based teaching modules, and encourage collaboration with various stakeholders to support the successful internalization of moderation values in PAI teaching. With this approach, universities are expected to produce graduates who not only possess academic competence but also contribute to building a harmonious and tolerant society.

Abstract

The objective of this investigation was to assess the effects of incentives and penalties on the academic performance of pupils enrolled at SD Negeri Cilandak Barat 01 Pagi. The study employed a qualitative descriptive methodology, utilizing observation, interviews, and questionnaires as data collection methods. The study was conducted at a public elementary school, specifically Cilandak 01 Pagi, located in the southern region of Jakarta. The findings of the research indicate that the implementation of incentives and sanctions can influence the degree of orderliness and academic drive among students, provided that it is executed in a suitable and fitting manner. Regarding the acquisition of knowledge and the cultivation of self-control, educators employ a system of incentives and consequences to incentivize pupils to adhere to the established regulations and exhibit greater compliance and decorum within the academic setting. It is imperative that educators exercise prudence in administering rewards and punishments, as their actions hold significant sway over the outcomes experienced by students. Rewarding students involves inculcating positive values through habituation and appreciation for their positive actions. Conversely, when students engage in negative behaviors, teachers may administer appropriate disciplinary measures. The purpose of punishment is to deter children from engaging in prohibited behaviors. The educator cautions pupils against replication and elucidates the underlying rationales for its prohibition. In educational practice, the utilization of reward and punishment is employed by educators as a means of reinforcement, serving as a stimulus in the process of instructing students. Teachers provide rewards to students as a means of acknowledging positive behaviors or accomplishments through the presentation of gifts or other forms of recognition. The act of providing incentives is aimed at fostering increased engagement and motivation among children in their endeavors to perform and excel. The act of administering punishment by a teacher to students is typically in response to the commission of violations or errors by said students. The imposition of punishment can lead to remorse and regret among students for their inappropriate behavior. The findings of this study suggest that educators are anticipated to exhibit greater levels of creativity and ingenuity by devising novel methods of incentivization and disciplinary action that can be further refined. Are students expected to maintain discipline and study diligently, regardless of the presence of incentives or penalties.

Abstract

Banjir rob yang terjadi di Bangket Parak dusun Pasung menyebabkan beberapa rumah penduduk, sekolah dan lahan pertanian tergenang. Selain itu di daerah pesisir dusun pasung juga mengalami abrasi. Banjir rob sebagai fenomena alamiah, sebenarnya bukanlah hal yang baru bagi masyarakat pesisir, namun dengan meningkatnya intensitas dan frekuensi yang terjadi, masalah ini menjadi membahayakan lingkungan pesisir dan penduduk setempat, sehingga perlu segera untuk ditangani. Salah satu solusi yang dianggap efektif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan penanaman sekaligus melakukan rehabilitasi dan konservasi ekosistem mangrove yang telah mengalami degradasi. Penanaman pohon mangrove sampai saat ini juga masih dianggap sebagai salah satu cara yang cukup efektif untuk mengurangi dampak negatif dari abrasi sehingga akan mampu menyelamatkan kawasan pesisir. Akar mangrove yang kuat mampu menahan erosi tanah, sedangkan daun dan rantingnya berperan sebagai pelindung dari hempasan ombak. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilakukan kegiatan penanaman mangrove guna mengurangi dampak banjir rob dan penyelamatan lingkungan pesisir di Desa Bangket Parak, Pantai Jebak. Kegiatan ini untuk mengenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan pada perangkat desa, karang taruna dan tokoh masyarakat dalam berkontribusi secara langsung dalam menjaga lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh toxic relationship terhadap mahasiswi di Kota Pekanbaru. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan 40 responden yang merupakan mahasiswi semester 6–8 yang pernah mengalami hubungan pacaran yang tergolong toxic. Instrumen penelitian disusun berdasarkan empat indikator toxic relationship: kekerasan fisik, psikis, seksual, dan ekonomi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel toxic relationship tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap dampak psikologis yang dialami oleh mahasiswi. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,893 (> 0,05), serta nilai koefisien regresi sebesar -0,027. Artinya, semakin tinggi tingkat toxic relationship yang dialami, tidak secara langsung menyebabkan peningkatan dampak psikologis yang signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan adanya faktor-faktor lain yang memediasi dampak hubungan toxic, seperti dukungan sosial, kemampuan coping, dan pengalaman konseling. Penelitian ini juga menekankan pentingnya peran konseling dalam membantu individu menghadapi hubungan tidak sehat.

Abstract

The effect of storage duration on fungal population, moisture content, lipid and free fatty acid contents, lipase activity, viability and vigor of physic nut seeds was investigated. Physic nut seeds with initial moisture content of 7.9% were stored in plastic bags under warehouse conditions. Samples of physic nut were collected before storage, and subsequently after one to six months of storage. The results showed that the moisture contents increased after one month of storage, and became relatively constant up to six months of storage. The range of moisture contents (7.9 – 8.4%) was safe for storage of physic nut seeds. Sixteen fungal species were isolated from physic nut seeds during six months of storage. Fungal population decreased with the increase of storage duration. At the beginning of storage, most of the fungi that infected the seeds were classified as field fungi, such as Colletotrichum sp., Cladosporium spp., and Fusarium spp.. Their populations decreased with the increase of storage duration. After three months of storage, the existence of field fungi was generally replaced by storage fungi, such as Aspergillus spp., and Penicillium spp. dominate the population. Lipid contents, viabilities and vigors decreased with the increase of storage duration, while free fatty acids and lipase activities increased. Under uncontrolled condi­tions, physic nut seeds packed in plastic material can be stored up to one month for seeds to be planted, while it can be stored up to five months for producing oil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi pendekatan sosio religius dalam mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai ‘adalah (keadilan) dan amanah (tanggung jawab) melalui kegiatan pembiasaan bakti sosial sedekah beras di MA Mazroatul Ulum Paciran Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan model studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan sosio religius diterapkan secara terpadu dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan sedekah beras. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memperkuat empati dan solidaritas sosial siswa, tetapi juga menjadi sarana efektif dalam menanamkan nilai keadilan melalui pembagian yang merata serta nilai amanah melalui pengelolaan dan penyaluran bantuan secara bertanggung jawab. Lingkungan madrasah yang mendukung serta keterlibatan guru dan siswa secara aktif menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut. Temuan penelitian ini dapat berkonstribusi bagi model pengembangan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai wasathiyah Islam di lingkungan madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive contribution of tax incentives and tax education on the tax compliance of MSME taxpayers in Enrekang Regency. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling, resulting in 104 samples. The method used was quantitative statistical method, and data were collected through interviews, questionnaire distribution (direct and online), and literature review to obtain research data. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 29. The results show that the Tax Incentive variable has a positive and significant effect on the compliance of MSME taxpayers in fulfilling their obligations. Conversely, the Tax Education variable does not have a positive and significant effect on the compliance of MSME taxpayers registered with the Enrekang KP2KP.
