Abstract

This study aims to empirical related understanding to update the data they think of students with special needs in primary schools inclusive kepulauan seribu. Sample of the research is teachers SDN 01 panggang island, teachers of SDN 02 panggang island and teachers sdn 03 panggang island Kepulauan Seribu some 50 people. This approach in this study used a quantitative approach with the descriptive. Data collection in this research using survey by the questionnaire as an instrument used to collect data from respondents.Study was conducted in SDN inclusive in Kepulauan Seribu. The research results show that they think of understanding students with special needs in sdn inclusive kepulauan seribu has not been spread evenly .This can be seen from the acquisition a score respondents a whole that a lot of teachers who are already proficient in ideal and have a score above the limit those teachers ( 72 % ) . But there is some of the teachers did not understand school tuition berkebutuhan special and have a score under the ideal the 14 teachers ( 28 % ).Based on the results of that research shows that understanding teachers for participants students special berkebutuhan in primary schools inclusive kepulauan seribu has not been spread evenly, so this might impact on the implementation of the teaching and learning done that school tuition berkebutuhan special not fully served well Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empirik terkait pemahaman guru terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di SD Inklusif wilayah Kepulauan Seribu. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SDN 01 Pulau Panggang, guru SDN 02 Pulau Panggang dan guru SDN 03 Pulau Panggang Kepulauan Seribu sebanyak 50 orang. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan survei dengan kuesioner sebagai alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari responden. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Inklusif di Kepulauan Seribu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di SDN Inklusif wilayah Kepulauan Seribu belum merata. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pemerolehan skor responden keseluruhan bahwa banyak guru yang sudah memahami dan memiliki skor diatas batas ideal yaitu sebanyak 36 orang guru (72%). Namun ada beberapa guru yang belum memahami peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus dan memiliki skor dibawah batas ideal sebanyak 14 orang guru (28%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru terhadap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di SD Inklusif wilayah Kepulauan Seribu belum merata, maka hal ini berdampak pada pelaksanaan belajar mengajar yang dilakukan bahwa peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus belum sepenuhnya terlayani dengan baik.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to produce teaching material as a learning module for teachers, in order to develop basic science process skill for hearing impairments students. Science process skills are an important aspect in learning science. Teachers need teaching materials as a source of relevant knowledge and skills in order to implement science learning especially in developing science process skills. For this reason, a specific module was developed for teachers to teach science process skills through an inquiry approach for hearing impairments students. Specific aim of the study was to examine the feasibility of the module as a product being developed. This study used the method of Research & Development. The subjects of the study were classroom teachers and fifth grade of hearing impairments students. An instrument for product validation testing was developed and given to relevant experts. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the expert validation test showed that the module has a feasibility level of 87%, which categorized as a very feasible product.

Abstract

This research aims to gain in-depth information about the word-formation process (morphology) through the maternal reflective method in the fifth-grade deaf students at SDLB Santi Rama. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data analysis of this research uses Miles and Huberman model that has three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or data conclusions. The data collection techniques in this research are interviews, observations, and document review. The result shows that the word-formation process (morphology), especially affixed words, is divided into three: forming prefixes, forming suffixes, and the morphophonemic process. The word-formation process (morphology) begins with two kinds of conversation that are perdati (conversation from the heart to heart) and percamsi (conversation to transmit some information). At the same time, the MRM principle used in word formation (morphology) is the process of discovery learning. Suggestions for this research are that teachers can maintain, improve, and apply the implementation of MRM to the word-formation process (morphology).

Abstract

This study aims at producing the reading comprehention instructional strategies that can be implemented effectively in the instructional process for students with learning problems. The initial idea of this research was based on the fact that reading comprehention instructional strategies had not been seccessfully appied to improve studens’ skills in reading comprehension. This research, conducted as from July 2012 through September 2013 at inclusive schools in Jakarta, applied the Research and Development (R&D) approach; consisting: (1) a preliminary stage, (2) development stage, and (3) testing and validation phase. The unit of analysis involves the classroom teacher who teaches Indonesian and students with learning problems in regular schools. Data collection applied the technique of observation, interviews, and test. The analysis of qualitative data with descriptive and quantitative data used non-parametric data analysis and Wilcoxson test. The results of the study show New Collaborative Strategic Reading affects the students’ reading skill and their comprehension and improve instructional process. Therefore, the New Collaborative Strategic Reading can be used as an alternative strategy to reading comprehension.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi peserta didik dengan autisme di Sekolah Alam Amardhika. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dan guru kelas integrated di Sekolah Alam Amardhika, pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi pada kegiatan belajar mengajar, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Data yang diperoleh, diolah dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Sekolah Alam Amardhika memiliki strategi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia yang terintegrasi di dalam Program Pembelajaran Induvidual(PPI) pada aspek akademik. Metode yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar diantaranya ABA, TEACCH, demonstrasi, penugasan dan tanya jawab. Media pembelajaran menggunakan media visual. Adanya perkembangan kemampuan bahasa indonesia peserta didik melibatkan semua komponen di sekolah. Evaluasi dari strategi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dilakukan oleh guru, terapis dan kepala sekolah, hasil dari evaluasi tersebut dinarasikan dalam bentuk portofolio perkembangan dan lembar kerja peserta didik dengan autisme.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan informasi terkait pembelajaran Bina Komunikasi Persepsi Bunyi Irama di Kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa Pangudi Luhur Jakarta Barat bagi peserta didik tunarungu pada masa pandemi covid-19 yang mempengaruhi cara dan proses pembelajaran yang terkait dengan strategi, proses pelaksanaan dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat pembelajaran. Kemudian penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis fenomologis untuk menggambarkan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena yang terjadi adalah pembelajaran daring pada pembelajaran BKPBI di kelas 1 SDLB Pangudi Luhur sangat mempengaruhi proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu pertama strategi dimodifikasi sedemikian rupa, kedua pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan platform online dan guru membuat video dan lembar pekerjaanya sendiri sebagai tugas yang kemudian peserta didik  merekam tugas tersebut sebagai hasil pembelajaran, terakhir pembelajaran secara daring ini juga memberikan dampak pada gutu, peserta didik bahkan pendamping peserta didik. Learning to build communication on the perception of rhythmic sound during the Covid-19 pandemic for deaf studentsAbstract: This research aims to describe information related to learning Rhythm Sound Perception Communication in Class 1 of Pangudi Luhur Elementary School in West Jakarta for deaf learners during the covid-19 pandemic that affects the way and learning process related to strategies, implementation processes, supporting, and learning inhibitions factor. Then the study used a descriptive qualitative approach with phenomenological methods to describe the phenomena that occur in the field. The results showed that the phenomenon that occurred was online learning in BKPBI learning in the 1st grade of SDLB Pangudi Luhur greatly influenced the learning process, using online platforms and teachers made their own videos and worksheets as tasks that then learners recorded the task as learning results.

Abstract

Reading may have been taught in the early grades, however it is not an easy task for students with special needs, especially those with slow learning problems. If slow learners have not fully mastered word recognition skills, which is a prerequisite for reading comprehension phase, they will fall behind and need constant help for their studies. Hence, this research aims to improve slow learners' word recognition skills using a global method. This research was held from October to November 2023, with the research subjects being slow learners at third class in elementary school. Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a Two-cycle Kemmis & McTaggart model was used as the method, which consists of three stages: planning, action + observation, and reflection. Results show that throughout the process, the slow learner students' word recognition skill increased slowly, gaining an average score of 45.66% to 83.55% when cycle II was implemented with the score of 75% as a minimum standard of success. The results concluded that the global method is suitable for students who are not yet fluent in reading and want to learn simple sentences and words because it teaches students to understand how sentences and words are formed so they do not only memorize them.

Abstract

Communication is a fundamental skill that must be fulfilled for all humans, including individuals with multiple disabilities. With communication, individuals with multiple disabilities can interact and participate with the environment so that they are not isolated. This study aims to formulate a family-sourced early intervention program to optimize the communication development of students with multiple disabilities in accordance with children's needs, so that families can hopefully become a support system in supporting their children's communication development. This research uses research methodology design and development design and development research (D DR), where in the first year researchers formulate programs based on needs in the field. The results showed that there are three family-sourced early intervention programs to optimize communication of individuals with multiple disabilities.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini didasari oleh kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik dalam mengembangkan ide, kelancaran dalam menulis dan kesadaran dalam menggunakan tanda baca di dalam sebuah tulisan ekspresi. Menulis ekspresif atau yang dikenal dengan mengarang merupakan keterampilan komunikasi ekspresif yang memposisikan pembicara atau penulis sebagai penyampai pesan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ekspresi menggunakan media komik bagi peserta didik problema belajar kelas IV di SDN Cipayung 04  Pagi, Jakarta Timur. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik problema belajar yang berjumlah 10 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah PenelitianTindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dimana tahapan pada model tersebut terdiridari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui hasil tes tulis dan hasil pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata pra-siklus 48, siklus I 58, siklus II 67. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa media komik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis ekspresi bagi peserta didik problema belajar kelas IV dan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media dalam pembelajaran menulis ekspresi pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu, diharapkan guru dapat menggunakan media komik dalam mengajarkan menulis ekspresi pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi peserta didik problema belajar kelas IV.   Kata Kunci  : media komik, menulis ekspresi, dan peserta didik problema belajar.   Abstract: This study is based on the difficulties faced by students in developing ideas, fluency in writing, and awareness of using punctuation in expressive writing. Expressive writing, or what is known as composing, is an expressive communication skill that positions the speaker or writer as the message deliverer. This study aims to improve expressive writing skills using comic media for students with learning problems in grade IV at SDN Cipayung 04 Pagi, East Jakarta. The subjects of this study were ten students with learning problems. The method used is Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, where the stages in the model consist of planning, implementing actions and observations, and reflection. Research data were obtained through written test results and observation results. The results showed increased learning outcomes with an average pre-cycle of 48, cycle I of 58, and cycle II of 67. Thus, comic media can improve expressive writing skills for students with learning problems in grade IV and be an alternative media for learning expressive writing in Indonesian language subjects. Therefore, it is expected that teachers can use comic media to teach writing expressions in Indonesian language subjects to students with learning problems in grade IV. Keywords: comic media, students with learning problems, and writing expressions.
