Abstract

This innovative work research aims to develop a learning media in the form of serial puzzle media that can help children with autism to improve the ability of brushing teeth. Researchers developed serial puzzle media because they needed a learning media for self-development in brushing teeth of basic class autistic children. This media development uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the PPE development model consisting of three stages, including the stages of planning, production, and evaluation.The data collection technique was carried out through validation by three experts with different instruments, namely media experts, material experts and autism children experts.This serial puzzle media gets the overall average result that has been achieved is good, with score of 56% according to media experts, 92,85% according to material experts, and 92,85 according to autism experts out of 100%. The average value obtained, it can be concluded that this serial puzzle media is declared feasible and can be used to help children with autism in developing self-brushing teeth. It is hoped that teachers and parents can use serial puzzle media in teaching self-development for brushing their teeth.

Abstract

Reading Difficulties in one of challenging which faced by student in elementary school in Indonesia. This research purpose to find variety of challenging by student in early reading. 31 students with early reading problems who comes from 7 elementary school is use as respondent. Data collection is use by informal early reading test which validation with expert in special education needs and Bahasa Indonesia. Finding of this research is almost students with reading problems can read the letters, both vowel and consonant. They have problems in blending between letters become syllable and word.

Abstract

Initial reading difficulties are a phenomenon that occurs almost every school year in elementary school. In response to this phenomenon, the services developed are remedial learning services. In its implementation, remedial learning services are still a debate. On the one hand, remedial services look more at the effectiveness of activity implementation, but on the other hand still do not answer the holistic needs of students. This research was developed with the aim of developing intervention strategies in serving the reading learning needs of students with reading difficulties without having to serve them in specialized classes. The subjects in this study were two students with initial reading difficulties in the third grade of one of the public schools in East Jakarta. This research method is a mixed method. In the first stage, an assessment of reading difficulties was carried out on students. Furthermore, the required strategy is developed and finally analyzes the effectiveness of the strategy used through visual graphs of the achievement of intervention results. The results of this study suggest that through the intervention strategies developed can provide opportunities to improve students' early reading skills. These results have an implication on the development of educational service models for students with beginning reading difficulties in improving beginning reading skills.

Abstract

Based on the observations and explanations of special guidance teachers in schools, inclusive education providers that the form of collaboration between teachers and stakeholders is still diverse. In general, this study aims to find out and obtain information about the implementation of collaboration between teachers and stakeholders in education services for children with special needs in schools providing inclusive education in Sukabumi. This research is a quantitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires and recording initial data in the form of records that are understood by researchers without reducing the actual data. The results of the study can be concluded that collaboration in several aspects is still lacking such as teacher collaboration with SLB, teacher collaboration with related experts, lack of teacher collaboration with resource centers, teachers are also still lacking collaboration in carrying out learning activities. Meanwhile, there are several aspects that have begun to develop well, including teacher collaboration with parents, as well as teacher collaboration with special guidance teachers in inclusive schools, although not yet dehydrated, maximum results are expected to be a reference in building good collaboration between teachers and related stakeholders in creating effective learning in inclusive education. This study illustrates that inclusive education in its implementation process requires support from teachers and related stakeholders in order to run optimally.

Abstract

Parents and educators need special strategies to optimize an effective way to develop communication skills in children with multiple disability. This article aims to find out how to effectively develop the communication skills of children with multiple disability that have been researched by experts both from Indonesia and abroad. The method used by researchers in the preparation of this article is literature review, which is a method by collecting data from relevant references related to communication skills strategies for children with multiple disability. And the findings of this article will provide a comprehensive picture in developing communication for children with multiple disability verbally and non-verbally to the existing interactive media. However, there is still a need for further research that aims to increase understanding and support for the role of parents and educators in the development of communication in children with multiple disability.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang masih berlangsung telah berdampak luar biasa pada siswa, sekolah, dan guru. Pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa dilaksanakan secara terbatas melalui agenda: work from home, study from home dan ibadah di rumah sebagai bentuk pencegahan penyebaran virus. Keterbatasan pembelajaran daring menimbulkan banyak tantangan, termasuk bagi guru yang masih harus meneruskan ilmunya kepada siswa. Oleh karena itu, sama pentingnya untuk menyoroti bagaimana kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dilanjutkan dengan angket cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak dalam penelitian ini. Sampel terdiri dari 623 guru frm 3 daerah di Jawa Barat yaitu, Bandung, Tasikmalaya, dan Bekasi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memberikan proses pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengakomodasi beragam kebutuhan siswa, baik dari segi konten, metode, pendekatan, kurikulum, layanan pendidikan yang diberikan dalam proses pembelajaran maupun keterampilan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. di era digita

Abstract

Pengajaran tentang mengubah energy listrik menjadi energi cahaya dalam rangkaian seri dan paralel adalah salah satu pembelajaran IPA yang diajarkan di sekolah. Proses mengubah energy listrik menjadi energi cahaya sering ditemui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun terkadang kita tidak menyadarinya bahwa belajar perubahan energi listrik menjadi energi cahaya sangat penting, karena memiliki banyak manfaat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengaruh pembelajaran IPA dalam kehidupan sehari-hari menjadi titik temu kebutuhan belajar bagi siswa dengan disabilitas intelektual. Pertanyaan yang muncul adalah apakah pembelajaran IPA mengenai perubahan lenergi listrik menjadi energi cahaya dapat diajarkan kepada siswa dengan disabilitas intelektual?. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tiga siswa dengan disabilitas intelektual. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian subjek tunggal penelitian ini dikembangkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa siswa dengan disabilitas intelektual dapat diajarkan materi perubahan energi ini.

Abstract

Disabilitas majemuk merupakan fenomena yang hadir di dalam keberagaman manusia. Kondisi ini ditandai oleh adanya lebih dari satu kondisi impairment yang mendampingi individu dalam hidupnya. Keberadaan mereka terkadang tersamarkan sehingga masuk ke dalam kondisi disabilitas tunggal. Tujuan dari studi dilakukan dalam rangka melakukan identifikasi bagi para siswa dalam kategori disabilitas majemuk yang belajar di sekolah luar biasa untuk disabilitas tunggal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada 43 orang siswa dari 10 sekolah luar biasa yang berbeda. Hasil studi menemukan bahwa 43 orang siswa tersebut mengalami kondisi impairment lebih dari satu dan dilayani melalui layanan pendidikan bagi disabilitas tunggal. Dampak dari kondisi ini akan berdampak pada layanan pendidikan diberikan kepada siswa dan selanjutnya akan berdampak pada perkembangan siswa yang tidak maksimal.

Abstract

Keterampilan sosial adalah salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa sekolah dasar sebagai bekal demi kelanjutan hidup dan bermanfaat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tetapi, rendahnya keterampilan sosial siswa masih menjadi masalah dalam dunia pendidikan termasuk di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa di sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru melakukan upaya dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa melalui RPP yang digunakan, tetapi dalam pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran kebanyakan guru belum menerapkannya.
