Abstract

Citizenship education has a strategic role in forming entrepreneurial character and awareness based on national values. However, there are still challenges in integrating citizenship education with the formation of an entrepreneurial spirit oriented towards nationalism and patriotism. Therefore, this research aims to analyze how Citizenship Education can increase awareness of entrepreneurship based on national values ​​in the younger generation. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and literature studies on citizenship education curricula and entrepreneurship programs in educational institutions. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Citizenship Education contributes to building an entrepreneurial character who has a national spirit through strengthening values ​​such as mutual cooperation, hard work, independence and social concern. In addition, the integration of citizenship material with entrepreneurship education can raise awareness among the younger generation of the importance of contributing to national economic development through businesses based on national values. Thus, policies and innovations are needed in the education curriculum to further optimize the synergy between citizenship education and entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang berbantu media Padlet. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subjek peneliti yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 2 Keling yang terdiri dari 15 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan teknik tes . Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis PBL berbantu media padlet terdahap hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkatkan pemahaman anak terhadap konsep-konsep yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan siklus terlihat bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil analisis pre-test rata-rata 55,5 dan hasil analisis post-test rata-rata 69,18.

Abstract

This study explores the creativity of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Manyargading in ecoprint art with pounding technique. Ecoprint, as a method of dyeing fabric using natural materials, encourages students' exploration and creative expression. Through a qualitative approach, this study observed the learning process, student interviews, and documentation of the work. The results showed that although initially unfamiliar, students were enthusiastic about experimenting and creating unique motifs. Constraints in technique and material selection did not hinder their creativity. Ecoprint has proven to be an effective method to foster creativity and introduce environmentally friendly art in elementary schools.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the parenting styles applied by parents to motivate their children in online learn in Desa Kalipucang Wetan Jepara. This research explained factors that motivated children in family parenting in Desa Kalipucang Wetan Jepara and the form of children’s motivation in family parenting in Desa Kalipucang Wetan Jepara. This research discussed the parents’ parenting styles and its implications for children’s motivation in online learning in. Parenting styles referred to the parental control to provide care for children; in this case, parents educated and guided the child’s personality as well as built knowledge so that the child could grow up according to his developmental age. There were four types of parenting, including permissive, democratic, authoritative, and neglective parenting. Family learning environment was a learning environment that greatly affected the children’s pattern of life. Meanwhile, learning motivation was an encouragement from inside and outside to keep learning so that someone, especially elementary school students, could achieve maximum learning outcomes as a result of high enthusiasm or motivation to learn. Positive parenting would provide a high motivation for children to learn.

Abstract

Online learning has been carried out at SD N 1 Karangnongko Jepara due to the corona virus outbreak. As a result, learning at elementary schools was transferred online with the help of WhatsApp media. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of online learning through WhatsApp media. This study used a phenomenological qualitative research approach. The results showed that online learning using WhatsApp media tended to be less effective. This was influenced by several factors such as the difficulty of the internet signal and the ability of students who were not able to fully masterWhatsApp application. Thus, an evaluation with related parties was required in order to create effective online learning.

Abstract

Teacher-centered learning results in low critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Initial observations in grade IV of SD Negeri Sukolilo 02 showed low student activity and minimal involvement in higher-order thinking processes in Pancasila Education learning on social and cultural diversity. To overcome these problems, the Discovery Learning learning model was implemented. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Discovery Learning model on the critical thinking skills of grade IV students of SD Negeri Sukolilo 02. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were grade IV students of SD Negeri Sukolilo 02. Data collection techniques included tests, observations, and documentation with instruments in the form of critical thinking ability test questions. Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS program through a paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in students' critical thinking skills after the implementation of the Discovery Learning model. The average pretest score of 45.60 increased to 80.80 in the posttest. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, the application of the Discovery Learning model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills in Pancasila Education learning for grade IV of SD Negeri Sukolilo 02.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the improvement of information technology literacy among visually impaired individuals through the implementation of digital content at PPSDSN Pendowo Kudus. The research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest and posttest pre-experimental design, supported by qualitative data. The participants consisted of 10 visually impaired individuals selected through total sampling. The intervention included theoretical instruction on content creation and guided practical sessions in digital content production using audio equipment and digital applications. Data were collected through an information technology literacy questionnaire administered before and after the intervention, as well as semi-structured interviews to obtain supporting qualitative insights. Descriptive analysis showed an increase in the average literacy score from 2.6 to 4.05. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test indicated that the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05). Qualitative findings revealed that the improvement occurred not only in technical skills but also in procedural understanding and confidence in using digital technologies. The findings suggest that digital content implementation designed with attention to accessibility and user experience can serve as an effective strategy to enhance information technology literacy among visually impaired individuals.

Abstract

An innovative approach that has attracted attention in recent years is the use of interactive media, such as interactive comics, in the teaching of science. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of interactive comic media for science subjects in fifth grade elementary school. This research belongs to the type of Research and Development (R&D) research with research and development procedures consisting of two stages: media development and media testing. The method used develop and test learning media uses the Borg and Gall model. The product trial design used a pretest posttest control group design on students at SDN 2 Jambu as the experimental class and students at SDN 11 Jambu as the control class. Data were collected by observation, questionnaires, tests, interviews and documentation. The statistical test of effectiveness was carried out with SPSS. Data on the effectiveness of interactive comics learning media were analyzed by gain test, t test at a significance level of 0.05. Learning media developed in the form of interactive comics. The interactive comic was developed based on a needs analysis conducted on fifth grade students and teachers in three elementary schools in the Mlonggo sub-district, Jepara Regency. The use of interactive comics is effective as evidenced by an increase in learning outcomes. The average percentage of prettest in the control and experimental classes is almost the same, namely 30.00 and 30.67. After being given the intervention, the average posttest of the control and experimental classes increased to 50.00 and 74.83. The results of the t test obtained that the value of t count = 8.803 with a significance level of 0.000 < = 0.05. The conclusion obtained is that the development of interactive comic media has proven to be effective for use in learning in the fifth grade of elementary school. It is recommended that teachers use interactive comics in learning because it can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

Parenting is a treatment or way of educating parents in order to meet the needs and educate children in everyday life. In a family, the presence of parents is very important for the development of a child's personality, because the family is the first and foremost environment that will influence several aspects of child development, including the child's polite attitude. But not all children have complete parents, there are some children who are so unlucky that they only have one parent. But how to educate single parents is not much different from parents who are intact in instilling child courtesy. The cultivation of polite attitudes given by single parents to children is to provide understanding of what is good and bad and to give good examples to their children, so that children are more accustomed to seeing good things and can be imitated by children in everyday life. Abstract

Kebudayaan adalah sebuah sistem masyarakat yang meliputi suatu keseluruhan cara hidup manusia dalam kelompoknya yang berupa kebudaayaan fisik maupun nonfisik dan bersifat turun-temurun melalui proses belajar sehingga menjadi bagian dari kehidupan. Budaya genteng merupakan kebudayaan yang dimiliki masyarakat Mayongkidul jepara. Genteng merupakan sebuah  kerajinan dari tanah liat yang dibakar menggunakan suhu tinggi dan digunakan sebagai atap bangunan. Dalam pembuatannya tercermin nilai-nilai karakter yang teah  melekat pada masyarakat pengrajin di desa Mayongkidul. Dalam konteks sekarang ini karakter anak di indonesia dapat dikatakan minim moralitas. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari berita yang muncul diberbagai media salah satunya adalah  dan kenakalan remaja. Pendidikan karakter sudah menjadi program pemerintah yang bertujuan membentuk individu-individu yang bermoral akan tetapi tampakanya  belum berjalan dengan sempurna. Maka dibutuhkan kerjasama antara pendidikan, masyarakat dan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter  dalam budaya genteng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif naratif dalam penyajian data hasil penelitiannya. Proses pengumpulan datanya melaui wawancara, observasi serta catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dalam  budaya genteng terdapat nila-nilai pendidikan dalam  menumbuhkan karakter antara disiplin, kerjasama, bertanggung jawab dan jujur. Oleh karena itu harus di lestarikan agar tidak tergerus oleh perkembangan zaman.
