Abstract

This counseling aims to increase awareness of the importance of using polite and respectful language in online communication, as well as to preserve the authenticity and uniqueness of literary works in the digital era. The method used in this community service is through counseling and training for students of the Indonesian Literature Department, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Mulawarman University in Samarinda, especially social media users and literary writers. Counseling is conducted through workshops, seminars, and online campaigns to introduce the principles of politeness in the Indonesian language and provide examples of appropriate usage on social media. Meanwhile, the exploration of AI usage in literary works is conducted through research and experiments to discover new ways of creating unique and original literary works by utilizing AI technology. The results of this community service are increased awareness and understanding among students of the importance of using polite language on social media, as well as the development of new techniques in creating literary works that utilize AI technology.

Abstract

The Indonesian Language Politeness Education for Character Building in Early Childhood in Tompobalang was conducted due to the importance of character development from an early age through the use of polite language. Considering the role of mothers as the primary educators at home, this program targeted members of the Majelis Taklim Association (Permata) in Tompobalang, Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency. The methods used in this community service included lectures, interactive discussions, and simulations. The program aimed to increase the awareness and ability of mothers to apply polite language in their daily communication with their children. The results showed an increase in the understanding and awareness of mothers about the importance of polite language in shaping children's character. Additionally, the mothers became more skilled in using appropriate and polite language. In conclusion, this program significantly contributes to character building in children through the active role of mothers in communicating with polite language

Abstract

This training aims to enhance the capabilities of elementary, middle, and high school teachers in Gowa Regency in implementing Indonesian Language and Literature teaching models aligned with the National Curriculum. The problem addressed is the lack of understanding and skills among teachers in applying effective teaching methods that meet curriculum standards. Organized by the Department of Indonesian Literature, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, this training program utilizes a participatory approach involving group discussions, simulations, and teaching practice evaluations. The training results show an improvement in teachers' understanding and ability to design and manage learning processes that meet students' needs and curriculum demands. The positive impact of the program is evident in the increased confidence of teachers in their teaching practices. In conclusion, this training is essential for supporting the quality of Indonesian Language and Literature education in schools and strengthening the effective implementation of the National Curriculum
