Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter tanggung jawab siswa kelas V SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurangnya kesadaran siswa akan tanggung jawab di sekolah dan di rumah. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 136 siswa dan sampel berjumlah 48 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas V SDN 136 Pekanbaru bertanggung jawab baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Ditunjukkan dari hasil analisis siswa mengerjakan PR sebanyak 74.48%, mengulangi pelajaran di rumah persentase sebanyak 58.68%, membantu orangtua di rumah persentase sebanyak 66.87%, mengerjakan tugas piket kelas sebesar 70.31%, mengerjakan tugas kelompok bersama dengan teman kelompok sebesar 68.75%, mengerjakan tugas individu sebesar 70.31%, menjaga kebersihan sekolah sebesar 69.44%, meminta maaf kepada teman jika bersalah sebesar 61.20%. Dapat disimpulkan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru bertanggungjawab baik di rumah maupun di sekolah. Dengan demikian, pihak sekolah maupun guru hendaknya dapat lebih meningkatkan penanaman karakter tanggung jawab di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is the low of Science learning outcomes. This is seen from the average student test scores were 64.45, where minimum completeness criteria applied 75. Because of these problems, an action research need to be conducted by applying Learning Strategies Enhancing Thinking Skills. The purpose of this research is to enhance the students' Science Learning Outcomes in 4B Grade students of SD Negeri 183 Pekanbaru at Academic Year 2015/2016 with the number of 37 students. The research was conducted in two cycles, implemented in the second semester, the instrument consists of learning tools and data collection instruments. The data in this research is the observation sheet teacher activity, the student activity observation sheet, and the daily tests. Based on the analysis of the observation sheet activities of teachers and students saw an improvement that activity of teacher in the first cycle reaches 75.00%, second cycle reaches 91,66%, while in the student activity reached 70.83% for the first cycle and the second cycle reaches 91.66%. Analysis of the data showed improvement student learning outcomes that in the first cycle the average is 73.24 with 62.16% classical completeness, while in the second cycle the average is 87.29 with 86.48% classical completeness. This shows that the application of Learning Strategies Enhancing Thinking Skills can improve Science Learning Outcomes of IVB Grade Students SD Negeri 183 Pekanbaru.KeyWord: Learning Strategies Enhancing Thinking Skills, Science Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the low of student’s achievements on the subject of natural sciences. Therefore, it is necessary to study learning by Learning Cycle model. This learning model is a student-centered teaching. So that students can master the competencies that must be achieved in learning with the active role, so that students are able to reveal prior knowledge and the opportunity to refute, debate their ideas. This is a good approach to learning science. The main objective of this study was to examine the learning outcome of students who obtain the IPA between learning through Learning Cycle model with students who received conventional learning. This research was conducted in SDN 006 Integrated Kubang Jaya grade students IVC as the control class and the class IVA as an experimental class using Rondomized Pretest-Posttest control Group. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with significance level α = 0.05. The results of the data analysis, in the experimental class earned an average of initial tests 63.12 into 75.05 on the average score of the final test. While the control group gained an average of initial tests of 62.74 and increased to 72.94 on the average of the final test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the average at the beginning of the test and the final test, but there was no difference statistically significant increase in learning outcomes among students who obtain IPA learning through Learning Cycle model, of the students who received conventional learning.Keywords : Learning Model Learning Cycle , Student’s Achievement Natural Sciences

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to improve the achievement science of school year 2015/2016. The subjects of the research was the students class VA of SDN 181 Pekanbaru in number 44 students. It is a classroom research by two cycles. The data of the research shows that the achiement having improved. It is proven by the score result of the theacher’s activity on the cycle I by mean 60% (enough category) improved as 10% to 70% (good category) and cycle II 80% (good category) improved as 5 % to 85% (very good category). The students activity on the cycle I by mean 60% (enough category) improved as 5% to 65% (good category) and the cycle II improved by mean 75% (good category) improved as 10% to 85% (very good category). The research finding also having improved, where before the learning cycle learning model. Was implemented on the passed based score was 18 students (40,90%) by mean 62,20. The cycle I, the passed students having improved as 28 students (63,64%) by mean 78,55 and on the cycle II improved to be 37 students (84,09%) by mean 83,64, this show that the application of learning learning cycle model can improve science learning outcomes grader VA SD Negeri 181 PekanbaruKeywords: Learning Cycle Model, achievement

Abstract

Abstract: The 2013 curriculum requires that the characteristics of society in the 21st century be able to overcome challenges through learning. It examines teachers' bravery for the challenges: Professional teachers who have easy access to information about cyberspace in 21st century society dream of reinforcing the phenomenon of poor quality education. Professional teachers impart science, technology, performance, and ethics to students. The challenge for 21st-century professional teachers is to educate students in science and technology, based on their age, through a disciplined, creative, innovative, and competitive approach to reach the Scientific Curriculum 2013. The parents of the students are expected to participate in the committee to support the acceleration and speed of educational progress. Due to this changed view of students as objects, the topic of the learning process becomes the starting point for discovering a variety of innovative learning approaches. Teachers need to be able to choose learning models that encourage each student's enthusiasm for actively participating in their learning experiences. An alternative learning model that allows students to develop thinking skills (thinking, communication, and connections) in solving problems is problem-based learning (PBL) to improve students' critical thinking skills. This is the background of why I am at the 11O Pekanbaru Elementary School did research. This study aims to investigate whether the application of the problem-based learning model can be used to improve the thinking skills of students in the VB 110 SD Negeri Pekanbaru.Key Words: Problem based learning (PBL) Critical Thinking Skills.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problem in this research was the poor students’ achievements in social sciences, it can be seen on students’ social sciences scores. There were 19 of 35 students who had not achieved the Achievement Standard (54.28%), while the ones who achieved were only 16 students (45.71%), and the average scores of the class was 67.71. The Achievement Standard that school determines is 70. The method of research was classroom action research implemented in two cycles that consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected by observation technigue, test technigue and documentary technigue. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test student’s result . At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage of teachers’ activity was 54.17% which is categorized as less. At the second meeting, the percentage increased to 62.50% which is categorized as enough. At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage increased to 75.00% that is categorized as good. At the second meeting the percentage increased to 87.50% which is categorized as very good. The students’ activities had increased. At the first meeting in cycle I, the students’ activities gained 54.17% which is categorized as less, while at the second meeting in cycle I the students’ activities gained 62.50% which is categorized as enough. At the first meeting of cycle II, the percentage increased to 70.83% that is categorized as good, while at the second meeting the percentage increased to 95.83% which is categorized as very good. The average of students’ achievements before the implementation cooperative learning inside outside circle (IOC) type was 67.71 which increased to 73.14 in cycle I, and increased again to 80.57 in cycle II. The result of research showed that implementation cooperative learning inside outside circle (IOC) type can improve student’s result of social sciences.Keywords: Cooperative Learning inside outside circle (IOC) Type, Study Result,social sciences

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes by applying the Role Playing learning model to third grade students of SDN 125 Pekanbaru. This research is a class action research (PTK) with research subjects of class IIIB SDN 125 Pekanbaru. The results of the study indicate that social studies learning through the application of Role Playing learning models can improve social studies learning outcomes. This can be seen from: (1) teacher activity increases in each cycle. Teacher activity increased from the percentage of teacher activity in the first cycle by 75% (good category), in the second cycle it was 91.66% (very good category); (2) student learning activities increase in each cycle. Student learning activities increased from the percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle of 72.22% (sufficient category), in the second cycle was 94.44% (very good category); (3) Student learning outcomes increase from the average value before the action of 68.96, increasing in the first cycle of 9.91% with an average value of 75.8, and in the second cycle increased by 26.16% with an average value -rata 87.0. Based on the results of these studies, it can be concluded that using a Role Playing learning model can improve students' social studies learning outcomes.Keywords : Role Playing learning model, social studies learning outcomes, PTK

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problems in this research was the low students learning achievement at fourth grade of SDN 164 Pekanbaru with an average value of 65.8 which was under the KKM set school is 75. This research was aimed to improve students learning achievement in social subject at four grade of SDN 164 Pekanbaru with the implementation of cooperative learning model type The Power of Two. This research was a classroom action research (PTK). The research subject was the fourth grade students of SDN 164 Pekanbaru numbering as many as 42 students consisting of 26 male, 16 female. Data were collected by observation techniques and engineering achievement test. The result of research concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type The Power of Two can improve students learning achievement in social subjects at fourth grade of SDN 164 Pekanbaru.Keywords: The Power of Two, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstrac: This research is motivated by the low results in learning mathematics student SD Negeri 004 Desa Tanah Bekali Kecamatan Pangean with an average grade of 68.42.While the value of the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) Mathematics is 75. Among students 19 people only 8 students who achieved KKM with classicalcompleteness 42.10%.This study is a Classroom Action Research conducted aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes SD Negeri 008 004 Desa Tanah Bekali Kecamatan Pangean the implementation of RealisticMathematics learning approach.Data collection instruments in this thesis is the teacher and student activity sheets and learning outcomes.This paper presents the study results of the data obtained from the average of the results of study before action 68.42 increase to 73,68 with a large increased 5,26 (7,69%) in cycle I. In the second cycle increased to 78,43 with a large increased 4,74 (6,43%). In the third cycle increased to 86,84 with a large increased 8,42(10,74%).Teacher activity in cycle I with average persentage of 67.5% in enough categories.in cycle II with average persentage of 82.5% in good categories.in cycle III with average persentage of 92.5% in very good categories. Activity of studens in cycle I with average persentage of 62.5% in enough categories.in cycle II with average persentage of 77.5% in good categories.in cycle III with average persentage of 87.5% in very good categories. Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the poor results of social studies third grade students of SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru with an average of 62.11 with the KKM class IPS is 70. Therefore, researchers conducted a study that aims to improve learning outcomes IPS third grade students of SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru to implement cooperative learning model Think Pair Share. The research was conducted on April 16 to May 7, 2016. The study design using the PTK (classroom action research) that the implementation is done three cycles, each cycle there are two meetings with the daily test with a different theme each cycle. The subjects were students of class III SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru totaling 38 people. Data collection instrument in this paper is a sheet activities of teachers, student activity sheets, and learning outcomes. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students increased from prior courses of action with an average of 62.11 increased in the first cycle to 67.50. In the second cycle increased to 76.84 and increased in the third cycle into 82.76. The activities of teachers in the learning process the first cycle of the first meeting of 45.83% and increased in the second meeting be 54.17%. The first meeting of the second cycle activities of teachers increased by 70.83% and in the second meeting be 79.17%. The first meeting of the third cycle activities of teachers increased by 83.33% and in the second meeting be 95.83%. Activity in the learning process the first cycle of the first meeting of 41.67% and increased in the second meeting be 54.17%. The first meeting of the second cycle of student activity amounted to 66.67% and increased in the second meeting to 75%. The first meeting of the third cycle of student activity amounted to 87.5% and increased in the second meeting be 91.67%. Based on the results of action research and data analysis can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share can improve learning outcomes IPS third grade students of SD Negeri 21 Pekanbaru. From the research, the authors provide recommendations relating to the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share which teachers should form study groups for students to be actively involved in the learning process, before discussing the group should students have to have opinions of their own thoughts and discussion first with his partner friends, so the atmosphere will be lively group discussion.Keywords : Model Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share, IPS Learning Outcomes
